Claims
- 1. A gaming machine comprising:
(a) a human support surface, (b) a main body portion that includes said human support surface, (b) an arm pivotally connected to said main body portion, and (c) a user interface attached to said arm and pivotal with respect to said human support surface, wherein said user interface is used for gaming.
- 2. The gaming machine of claim 1 further comprising a counterweight assembly in mechanical communication with said arm.
- 3. The gaming machine of claim 2 wherein said counterweight assembly further includes a cam and a strut.
- 4. The gaming machine of claim 1 wherein said user interface is pivotal between a first position and a second position.
- 5. The gaming machine of claim 4 wherein said user interface is pivotal in a generally vertical arc, whereby said first position is located above said second position.
- 6. A gaming machine comprising:
(a) a chair having a seat and a back, and (b) a movable user interface associated with said chair.
- 7. The gaming machine of claim 6 wherein said chair is a lounge chair.
- 8. A method of gambling, the method comprising the steps of:
(a) sitting on a seat, (b) pivoting a user interface from a first position to a second position, and (c) gambling using said user interface.
- 9. The method of claim 8 wherein said user interface is attached to an arm and wherein said arm is pivotally connected at an opposite end to said seat.
- 10. The method of claim 9 wherein step (b) further includes the step of pivoting said arm and said user interface in a generally vertical arc.
- 11. The method of claim 9 wherein said arm is pivotally attached to said seat by a counterweight assembly.
- 12. The method of claim 11 wherein said counterweight assembly includes at least one cam and at least one strut.
- 13. A gaming machine layout comprising:
(a) a first gaming machine comprising:
(i) a chair having a seat and a back, and (ii) a movable gaming device associated with said chair, and (b) a second gaming machine comprising:
(i) a chair having a seat and a back, and (ii) a movable gaming device associated with said chair, wherein said first and second gaming machines are angled toward one another so that users of each machine can socialize.
- 14. A gaming machine assembly comprising:
(a) a first gaming machine, (b) a second gaming machine, and (c) a tower associated with both said first gaming machine and said second gaming machine.
- 15. The gaming machine assembly of claim 14 wherein said first gaming machine and said second gaming machine face in opposite directions.
- 16. The gaming machine assembly of claim 14 wherein said tower has first and second opposed faces that face in the same direction as the first and second gaming machines respectively.
- 17. A gaming machine comprising:
a) a bottom portion, b) an intermediate portion extending upwardly from said bottom portion,
wherein said intermediate portion houses at least two central processing units, and wherein said intermediate portion has opposite sides, c) two desks extending from said intermediate portion in opposite directions,
wherein each desk includes at least one ticket printer in electrical communication with said central processing unit, d) two display housings extending upwardly from said intermediate portion,
wherein said two display housings each house at least one touch screen display in electrical communication with one of said central processing units, and e) a tower affixed to one of said sides of said intermediate portion,
wherein said tower includes at least two bill acceptors.
- 18. A gaming machine comprising:
(a) a bottom portion having a width and a depth,
wherein said depth is between about 16 inches and about 36 inches, (b) a bill acceptor, and (c) a touch screen display.
- 19. The gaming machine of claim 18 wherein said machine is coinless.
- 20. A gaming device comprising:
(a) a module for holding a gaming device, the module having a user interactive surface, (b) a human support surface connected to the module, and (c) a transport and positioning device for positioning the user interactive surface in operational contact with the user.
- 21. The gaming device of claim 20 wherein the human support surface is selected from the group consisting of a cushioned chair, a non-cushioned chair, a stool, a bed, a lounge chair, a futon, an exercise bicycle, a treadmill.
- 22. The gaming device of claim 20 wherein the transport and positioning device comprises a pivotal arm.
- 23. The gaming device of claim 20 wherein the transport and positioning device comprises a track.
