The present invention relates to the technical field of living electrical appliances, specifically an essential oil tank and a hair dryer using the same.
Hair essential oils/scalp essential oils and other essential oil products can effectively improve a series of hair quality issues such as dryness, split ends, tangling, and hair loss. With the improvement of living standards, the aforementioned essential oil products have gradually become common items in daily life.
Currently, some hair dryers on the market have added essential oil functions. Specifically, essential oil tanks are added to air outlets of the hair dryers, and the essential oils are evenly blown out by air forces of the hair dryers to reach the users' hair/scalp.
However, due to the essential oil tanks being set at air outlets of the hair dryers, the essential oils are heated by hot air of hair dryers, easily leading to rapid volatilization/evaporation, causing excessive consumption of the essential oils. Moreover, high temperatures could potentially damage molecular structures of the essential oils, thereby affecting its effectiveness to a certain extent. Additionally, as the essential oil tanks are located at air outlets of the hair dryers, air nozzles of the hair dryers need to be removed first in order to replace the essential oil tanks.
In summary, how to provide a hair dryer with an essential oil tank that has a reasonable consumption speed, is not easily affected by high temperatures, and is easy to replace has become one of the problems that need to be solved urgently.

In the essential oil tank and the hair dryer using the same of the present embodiment, the essential oil tank 1 is arranged into the auxiliary air duct 235 of the hair dryer body 2 from the air inlet of the auxiliary air duct 235 (a rear side of the hair dryer), after the fan 22 of the hair dryer body 2 is started, heated airflow flows along the main air duct 234 of the hair dryer body 2, while airflow in the auxiliary air duct 235 is naturally drawn by a negative pressure. Therefore, the airflow passing through the essential oil tank 1 is at room temperature, and the essential oil does not directly heated by hot air of the hair dryer. Essential oils stored in the essential oil tank 1 are not easily heated to volatilize/evaporate, thereby avoiding high-temperature damage to molecular structures of the essential oils. Therefore, the hair dryer of the present invention yields better hairstyling results when using the essential oil tank 1 of the present embodiment.
