Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an exercise bike protection cover which is configured to cover and mask an exercise bike to prevent from accumulating dust on the exercise bike.

2. Description of the Related Art

Exercise is a way to maintain physical health, and can increase muscle strength to effectively maintain the body's metabolic capacity and maintain physical strength and force above a certain level, so as to easily cope with daily affairs and prevent premature disability.

However, it is not easy to maintain an exercise habit, for example, the outdoor environment is an influencing factor, and rain, high temperature and low temperature may greatly reduce people's desire to go out for exercise. Therefore, many convenient apparatuses for indoor exercise are commercially available on the market, and an exercise bike is a very popular indoor exercise apparatus.

However, due to the limited space in the home, the exercise bike is usually placed on the balcony after use, and it is more likely to accumulate dust on the exercise bike. The accumulation of dust may cause wear of components of the exercise bike, so a protective cover for the exercise bike is developed and available on the market, and the protect cover can be covered on the exercise bike to block dust from the exercise bike. The structure of the conventional protection cover generally includes a cover body having an opening, and a pull rope inserted through an edge of the opening. After the protection cover is covered on the exercise bike, the pull rope can be pulled and tightened to shrink the opening, so as to slightly secure the cover body of the protection cover in a non-binding manner. However, the conventional protection cover has a problem that the cover body may be easily lifted up from the opening by an external force, for example, when the exercise bike placed on a balcony is covered by the conventional protection cover, the conventional protection cover may be easily lifted by wind, and the dust blocking function of the protective cover is reduced.

According to the above content, it can be known that the cover body of the conventional protection cover has a problem of having less reliable securing function and being easily lifted up by an external force such as wind blowing. The above-mentioned problem is to be urgently solved in the industry.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An objective of the present invention is to provide a protection cover including securing strips having hook-sided Velcro parts and loop-sided Velcro parts configured to bind a cover body to the exercise bike, so as to effectively prevent the cover body of the protection cover from being lifted up effortlessly by an external force.

In order to achieve the objective, the present invention provides an exercise bike protection cover including a cover body and a plurality of securing strips. The cover body includes a top part, a peripheral part surrounding a circumferential side of the top part, a bike accommodation space formed between inner sides of the peripheral part and the top part, and an opening formed on an end of the peripheral part away from the top part and in communication with the bike accommodation space. The plurality of securing strips are disposed on an edge of the opening, and each of the plurality of securing strips includes a hook-sided Velcro part and a loop-sided Velcro part configured to movably attach with each other to form a ring-shaped structure.

In an embodiment, the number of the plurality of securing strips is four.

In an embodiment, the opening comprises four corners, and each of the plurality of securing strips is disposed on the edge of the corresponding one of the four corners of the opening.

In an embodiment, the cover body is made by waterproof material.

In contrast, when an element is referred to as being “directly on,” “directly connected to” or “directly coupled to” another element or layer, there are no intervening elements or layers present.

In addition, unless explicitly described to the contrary, the words “comprise” and “include”, and variations such as “comprises”, “comprising”, “includes”, or “including”, will be acknowledged to imply the inclusion of stated elements but not the exclusion of any other elements.

The embodiment of the present invention is described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 8 in following paragraphs. Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 3. An exercise bike protection cover includes a cover body I and a plurality of securing strips 2. The cover body 1 includes a top part 11, and a peripheral part 12 surrounding a circumferential side of the top part 11, a bike accommodation space 13 formed between inner sides of the peripheral part 12 and the top part 11, and an opening 14 formed on an end of the peripheral part 12 away from the top part 11 and in communication with the bike accommodation space 13. The plurality of securing strips 2 are disposed on an edge of the opening 14. Each securing strip 2 includes a hook-sided Velcro part 21 and a loop-sided Velcro part 22 configured to movably attached with each other to form a ring-shaped structure.

An operation of the present invention is described in detail following the above description. As shown in FIG. 1, which is a perspective view of an exercise bike protection cover of the present invention, and as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, each securing strip 2 is sewn with the cover body 1 by a part thereof, and the hook-sided Velcro part 21 and the loop-sided Velcro part 22 are disposed on two non-sewn ends of each securing strip 2, so that the hook-sided Velcro part 21 and the loop-sided Velcro part 22 can be attached with each other to form a cable-tie like structure, to effectively secure the cover body 1 on an exercise bike 100.

The operation of securing an exercise bike protection cover of the present invention on the exercise bike 100 is described in detail in paragraphs. As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the exercise bike 100 generally includes a base frame 200 disposed on a bottom thereof, and the base frame 200 incudes extension rods 300 extended from a front end and a rear end of the base frame 200 to two sides thereof, respectively. After the exercise bike 100 is covered by the cover body 1, each of the securing strips 2 can be aligned to the corresponding one of the extension rods 300, and the position relationship between the securing strips 2 and the extension rods 300 is formed as shown in FIG. 7. Next, as shown in FIG. 8, the hook-sided Velcro part 21 and the loop-sided Velcro part 22 can be moved around two sides of the corresponding extension rod 300, and a hook side 211 of the hook-sided Velcro part 21 and a loop side 221 of the loop-sided Velcro part 22 can be attached with each other, so that the securing strip 2 can be bound with the extension rod 300 quickly. The above-mentioned steps can be repeated to bind all securing strips 2 to the extension rods 300, so as to complete application of the present invention.

According to the above-mentioned contents, with the configuration of binding the securing strips 2 to the extension rods 300, it is very difficult to lift the cover body 1 up by an external force when the mutual attachment between the hook-sided Velcro parts 21 and the loop-sided Velcro parts 22 is not released. As a result, compared with the conventional product, the exercise bike protection cover of the present invention can effectively solve the problem that the cover body may be easily lifted up by an external force such as wind blowing. Furthermore, the securing manner of using the hook-sided Velcro part 21 and the loop-sided Velcro part 22 can quickly and easily perform or release attachment without reducing convenience. Therefore, the present invention has non-obviousness and novelty.

In an embodiment, the number of the securing strips 2 can be four. The general exercise bike 100 usually includes four extension rods 300, so the number of securing strips 2 correspondingly set as four is a practical selection to achieve the better binding effect with fewer securing strips 2.

In an embodiment, the opening 14 has four corners, and each of the securing strips 2 is disposed on the edge of the corresponding one of the four corners 15 of the opening 14. In general, the extension rods 300 are respectively disposed on four corner ends of the exercise bike 100, so the above-mentioned configuration of the securing strips 2 can easily align the securing strips 2 to the extension rods 300.

In an embodiment, the cover body 1 can be made by waterproof material such as PEVA, non-woven fabric, or polyvinyl chloride, so that the exercise bike 100 can be prevented from being splashed by rainwater when the exercise bike 100 is placed on balcony and a window is too late to close in a rainy day, and the metal components of the exercise bike 100 can be protected from being corroded by splashed rainwater, thereby improving practicability of the present invention.

The present invention disclosed herein has been described by means of specific embodiments. However, numerous modifications, variations and enhancements can be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the disclosure set forth in the claims.
