Referring to FIG. 1-FIG. 10, the present invention provides an exercise bike 100 protection cover including a cover body 1 and a plurality of securing strips 2. The cover body 1 includes a center part 11, a peripheral part 12 surrounding a peripheral side of the center part 11 and extending downwardly, a bike accommodation space 13 formed between inner sides of the center part 11 and the peripheral part 12, and an opening 14 formed on an end of the peripheral part 12 away from the center part 11 and in communication with the bike accommodation space 13. In detail the width of the center part 11 tapers rearwardly. The plurality of securing strips 2 are disposed along an edge of the opening 14, and each of the plurality of securing strips 2 includes a buckle end 23, a fastener end 24, a hook portion 21, and a loop portion 22. Further, the buckle end 23 is opposite to the fastener end 24 and includes a buckle frame to receive the fastener end 24. In detail, the hook portion 21 and the loop portion 22 are both disposed on the same side surface of the securing strip 2, the hook portion 21 is located near the fastener end 24 and the loop portion 22 can be located at the rest surface to adapt different size of an extension rods 300 of the exercise bike 100, or the loop portion 22 can be located next to the hook portion 21.

An operation of the present invention is described in detail following the above description. As shown in FIG. 1, which is a perspective view of an exercise bike protection cover of the present invention, and as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, each securing strip 2 is sewn with the cover body 1 by a part thereof, and the buckle end 23 and the fastener end 24 are disposed on two non-sewn ends of each securing strip 2, so that the fastener end 24 can be looped through the buckle frame of the buckle end 23 and bent back to enable the hook portion 21 and the loop portion 22 to contact each other and thus secure the securing strap 2 to an extension rod 300 of an exercise bike 100.

The operation of securing an exercise bike protection cover of the present invention on the exercise bike 100 is described in detail in paragraphs. As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the exercise bike 100 generally includes a base frame 200 disposed on a bottom thereof, and the base frame 200 incudes extension rods 300 extended from a front end and a rear end of the base frame 200 to two sides thereof, respectively. After the exercise bike 100 is covered by the cover body 1, each of the securing strips 2 can be aligned to the corresponding one of the extension rods 300, and the position relationship between the securing strips 2 and the extension rods 300 is formed as shown in FIG. 8. Further, as shown in FIGS. 8-10, the buckle end 23 and the fastener end 24 loop and bind the extension rod 300 of an exercise bike 100, and the fastener end 24 can be looped through the buckle frame of the buckle end 23 and bent back to enable the hook portion 21 and the loop portion 22 to contact each other and thus secure the securing strap 2 to an extension rod 300 of an exercise bike 100.

According to the above-mentioned contents, with the configuration of binding the securing strips 2 to the extension rods 300, it is very difficult to lift the cover body 1 up by an external force when the mutual attachment between the hook portion 21 and the loop portion 22 is not released. In addition, the buckle frame also secures the binding of the securing strips 2 to the extension rods 300. As a result, compared with the conventional product, the exercise bike protection cover of the present invention can effectively solve the problem that the cover body may be easily lifted up by an external force such as wind blowing. Furthermore, the securing manner of using the hook portion 21 and the loop portion 22 can quickly and easily perform or release attachment without reducing convenience.

Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 5-6, the cover body 1 is adapted to fit over and around the exercise bike 100, therefore, the width a of the front part (the handlebar part) of the center part 11 is substantially larger than the width b of the rear part (the seat part) of the center part. In particularly, the width “a” can be from 60 to 70 centimeters, and the width “b” can be from 20 to 30 centimeters, and more particularly, the width “a” can be from 63 centimeters, and the width “b” can be from 26.5 centimeters.

Moreover, the peripheral part 2 further includes a front portion 16 and a rear portion 17. In detail, the exercise bike 100 is a stationary bike which is a resisting device with rotary bodies with flywheels, the handlebar part may not be lower than the seat part in height like a road bike, therefore, the front portion 16 is substantially longer than the rear portion 17 in length, so as to adapt to fit over and around the exercise bike 100. Specifically, the length of the front portion 16 refers to the length from the handlebar part to the opening 14 along a longitudinal axis, and the length of the rear portion 17 refers to the length from the seat part to the opening 14 along a longitudinal axis.

In general, a protective cover for the regular bike or a road bike would cover the tire of the bike, thus the width from the seat part to the tire part would taper downwardly to fit the tire shape. In the present invention, the exercise bike 100 is a stationary bike that includes a base frame 200 disposed on a bottom thereof. The bottom of the base frame 200 of the exercise bike 100 would be wider than the seat part, and even wider than the handlebar part to provide the stability of the exercise bike 100, therefore, the width of the rear portion widens downwardly to the opening of the cover body. Further, a line defined between the fastener end and the buckle end is parallel along an extension plane of the cover body, so that the securing strips 2 can fit the shape of the base frame 200 and the extension rods 300.

In an embodiment, the number of the securing strips 2 can be four. The general exercise bike 100 usually includes four extension rods 300, so the number of securing strips 2 correspondingly set as four is a practical selection to achieve the better binding effect with fewer securing strips 2.

In an embodiment, the opening 14 has four corners, and each of the securing strips 2 is disposed on the edge of the corresponding one of the four corners 15 of the opening 14. In general, the extension rods 300 are respectively disposed on four corner ends of the exercise bike 100, so the above-mentioned configuration of the securing strips 2 can easily align the securing strips 2 to the extension rods 300. Moreover, the fastener end and the buckle end are not directly connected with the peripheral part, and the hook portion and the loop portion are not directly connected with the peripheral part, thus structure provides the possibility to replace the securing strips 2 without replacing the whole the exercise bike protection cover.

In an embodiment, the cover body 1 can be made by waterproof material or waterproof polymer-coated fabrics, such as PEVA, non-woven fabric, or polyvinyl chloride, so that the exercise bike 100 can be prevented from being splashed by rainwater when the exercise bike 100 is placed on balcony and a window is too late to close in a rainy day, and the metal components of the exercise bike 100 can be protected from being corroded by splashed rainwater, thereby improving practicability of the present invention.

The exercise bike protection cover described herein advantageously may prevent the ingress of the elements of the external environment, including dust, dirt, stones, salt, liquid water (e.g. road spray, rain, condensation), snow, ice, road debris, solar (e.g. IR and UV) radiation.

The present invention disclosed herein has been described by means of specific embodiments. However, numerous modifications, variations and enhancements can be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the disclosure set forth in the claims.
