BACKGROUND

Existing yoga bags often cannot accommodate extra thick and wider-sized yoga mats, making it difficult for users to transport their yoga equipment comfortably and securely. Furthermore, the issue extends beyond just yoga mats. Many yoga practitioners find that existing yoga bags do not offer sufficient space for other essential yoga accessories. For instance, items such as yoga blocks, a change of clothes, shoes, a towel, and personal items cannot be easily carried in the same bag due to limited space. This lack of storage capacity forces individuals to carry additional bags or leave some items behind, which can be inconvenient and detract from the overall yoga experience.

In addition to spatial limitations, the shoulder strap design on many yoga bags raises concerns regarding comfort and versatility. A significant number of these bags come with non-adjustable shoulder straps. This design oversight neglects the diverse needs of yoga practitioners, whose body types and carrying preferences vary widely. An adjustable strap is essential for ensuring that the bag can be carried comfortably for extended periods, whether walking, biking, or commuting to and from yoga sessions. The absence of this feature limits the bag's versatility and adaptability to different users, making it less appealing to a broader audience. Overall, the design and functionality of many current yoga mat bags do not fully meet the needs of yoga practitioners.
