Claims
- 1. A method of making an oximetry sensor, wherein the method comprises the steps of:
- securing at least two support rings to one side of a piece of window film;
- securing a photodiode within one of the support rings;
- securing an LED assembly within the other of the support rings;
- adhesively securing a back film mounting member to a portion of a foam wrap member; and
- adhesively securing a portion of the window film to a portion of the back film mounting member.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the method includes the step of:
- securing a top liner to the other side of the window film.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the method includes the step of:
- attaching a portion of a cable to the photodiode; and
- attaching another portion of the cable to the LED assembly.
- 4. A method of making an oximetry sensor, wherein the method comprises the steps of:
- providing a foam wrap member;
- providing a photodiode on the foam wrap member;
- providing an LED assembly on the foam wrap member;
- adhesively securing a window film to the foam wrap member covering the LED assembly and the photodiode on the foam wrap member.
- 5. The method of claim 4, wherein the method includes the step of:
- securing a top liner to a side of the window film.
- 6. The method of claim 4, wherein the method includes the step of:
- attaching a portion of a cable to the photodiode; and
- attaching another portion of the cable to the LED assembly.
