Problem: Unsightly puckers or bulges in knit garments, acquired while air drying on a regular dothing hanger. A need for correcting this condition inspired me solely to find a manner to alleviate this problem. An ability to extend drying arms for various desired lengths makes it possible to eliminate puckers and bulges and therefore, making it different from existing hangers. This led to my idea for the “Extendo Hanger.”
“The Extendo” is a swivel neck clothing/utility hanger, which houses an extension arm within Its hollow frame. It can be used in its retracted and expandable mode in lieu of a standard clothing hanger.

“The Extendo Hanger” is a standard swivel neck ten inch hollow frame clothing/utility hanger, which houses and supports an extension arm within the frame. The inner arm extends to double the frame length to approximately 20 inches.
The inner arm, when extended is slightly thinner than the frame for the ease of extension and contraction but mainly, for the purpose of elimination puckers and bulges in its extended mode. When fully extended a stop will engage to stabilize the arm.
The hanger hook frame and extension arm can be manufactured in a circular, semi-circular, square or diamond configuration, which can be made from plastic, wood, metal or any combination thereof.
