The disclosure relates to protection devices and more particularly pertains to a new protection device for inhibiting eyelashes from being deformed while sleeping.
The prior art relates to protection devices.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a top sheet that is positionable on top of a user's eyelashes. A first mating member is coupled to the top sheet and the first mating member is comprised of a magnetic material. A bottom sheet is positionable beneath the user's eyelashes such that the user's eyelashes are compressed between the top sheet and the bottom sheet to inhibit the eyelashes from being deformed when the user is sleeping. A second mating member is coupled to the bottom sheet and the second mating member is comprised of a magnetic material. The second mating member magnetically engages the first mating member for retaining the top sheet and the bottom sheet on the user's eyelashes.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
A first mating member 28 is coupled to the top sheet 12 and the first mating member 28 is comprised of a magnetic material. The first mating member 28 is positioned on the bottom surface 24. The first mating member 28 is positioned adjacent to the back edge 20. Additionally, the first mating member 28 is co-arcuate with the back edge 20.
A bottom sheet 30 is positionable beneath the user's eyelashes 14 such that the user's eyelashes 14 are compressed between the top sheet 12 and the bottom sheet 30. The bottom sheet 30 is comprised of a rigid material to inhibit the eyelashes 14 from being deformed when the user is sleeping. The bottom sheet 30 has a primary end 32, a secondary end 34, a rear edge 36, a forward edge 38 and a top surface 40. The bottom sheet 30 is elongated between the primary end 32 and the secondary end 34. The rear edge 36 is concavely arcuate between the primary end 32 and the secondary end 34 for conforming to the curvature of the user's eyelid 26. Additionally, the forward edge 38 is convexly arcuate between the primary end 32 and the secondary end 34.
A second mating member 42 is coupled to the bottom sheet 30 and the second mating member 42 is comprised of a magnetic material. The second mating member 42 magnetically engages the first mating member 28 for retaining the top sheet 12 and the bottom sheet 30 on the user's eyelashes 14. The second mating member 42 is positioned on the top surface 40 and the second mating member 42 is positioned adjacent to the rear edge 36. Additionally, the second mating member 42 is co-arcuate with the rear edge 36.
In use, the top sheet 12 is positioned on top of the user's eyelashes 14 and the bottom sheet 30 is positioned beneath the user's eyelashes 14. The first mating member 28 and the second mating member 42 magnetically engage each other to retain the top sheet 12 and the bottom sheet 30 on the user's eyelashes 14. In this way the user's eyelashes 14 are protected from being deformed while the user sleeps, thereby enhancing the appearance of the user's eyelashes 14 when the user wakes. Each of the first mating member 28 and the second mating member 42 extends along the user's eyelid 26 when the top sheet 12 and the bottom sheet 30 are worn. The top sheet 12 and the bottom sheet 30 are removed from the user's eyelashes 14 when the user wakes.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
