Claims
- 1. A control method for controlling a facsimile apparatus having an image memory for storing received image data, in which, in a memory reception mode, the received image data is temporarily stored in the image memory when a facsimile image signal is received, and a recorder unit prints a received image on the basis of the received image data read out from the image memory, said control method comprising the steps of:
- adding reception time data to the to-be-stored received image data, the reception time data representing a reception time of when the received image data is stored in the image memory;
- adding read time data to the to-be-read received image data, the read time data representing a read time of when the received image data is read out from the image memory; and
- printing the received image with the reception time data and the read time data, the reception time data and the read time data being added to each page so that the reception time is distinguishable from the read time.
- 2. A control method for controlling a data communication apparatus comprising:
- a receiving step of receiving data;
- a storing step of storing the data, received in said receiving step, in a memory;
- a reception time adding step of adding a reception time of when the received data is stored in the memory in said storing step;
- an output step of outputting the stored data from the memory; and
- an output time adding step of adding an output time of when the received data is output from the memory in said output step,
- wherein said reception time adding step and said output time adding step respectively include adding the reception time and the output time to each page, and said output step includes outputting data with the reception time and the output time, the reception time and the output time being added to each page so that the reception time is distinguishable from the output time.
- 3. A computer readable program, stored in a storage medium, for controlling a facsimile apparatus having an image memory for storing received image data, in which, in a memory reception mode, the received image data is temporarily stored in the image memory when a facsimile image signal is received, and a recorder unit prints a received image on the basis of the received image data read out from said image memory, to perform a method comprising the steps of:
- causing to add reception time data to the to-be-stored received image data, the reception time data representing a reception time of when the received image data is stored in the image memory;
- causing to add a read time data to the to-be-read received image data, the read time data representing a read time of when the received image data is read out from the image memory; and
- causing to print the received image with the reception time data and the read time data, the reception time data and the read time data being so added to each page so that the reception time is distinguishable from the read time.
- 4. A computer readable program, stored in a storage medium, for controlling a data communication apparatus to perform a method comprising the steps of:
- a receiving step of receiving data;
- a storing step of causing to store the data received in said receiving step in a memory;
- a reception time adding step of causing to add a reception time of when the received data is stored in the memory in said storing step;
- an output step of causing to output the stored data from the memory; and
- an output time adding step of causing to add an output time of when the received data is output from the memory in said output step,
- wherein said reception time adding step and said output time adding step respectively include adding the reception time and the output time to each page, and said output step includes outputting data with the reception time and the output time being added to each page so that the reception time is distinguishable from the output time.
- 5. A facsimile apparatus having an image memory for storing received image data, in which, in a memory reception mode, the received image data is temporarily stored in the image memory when a facsimile image signal is received, and a recorder unit prints a received image on the basis of the received image data read out from said image memory, comprising:
- reception time data adding means for adding reception time data to the to-be-stored received image data, the reception time data representing a reception time of when the received image data is stored in said image memory; and
- read time data adding means for adding read time data to the to-be-read received image data, the read time data representing a read time of when the received image data is read out from said image memory,
- wherein the recorder unit prints the received image with the reception time data and the read time data, the reception time data and the read time data being added to each page so that the reception time is distinguishable from the read time.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the memory reception mode is set in a recording disable state of the recorder unit.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 5, further comprising a printer interface, and wherein the recorder unit is usable as a printer for external data other than the received image data, and the memory reception mode is set at a time of print execution of the external data.
- 8. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein a printer of said facsimile apparatus is of an ink-jet recording type, and print positions of the reception time data and the read time data are aligned with a footer mark for detecting presence/absence of an ink in the same row.
- 9. A data communication apparatus comprising:
- receiving means for receiving data;
- storage means for storing the data received by said receiving means;
- reception time adding means for adding a reception time of when the received data is stored in said storage means;
- output means for outputting the data stored in said storage means; and
- output time adding means for adding an output time of when the received data is output from said storage means by said output means, wherein said reception time adding means and said output time adding means respectively add the reception time and the output time to each page, and said output means outputs data with the reception time and the output time, the reception time and the output time being added to each page so that the reception time is distinguishable from the output time.
- 10. An apparatus according to claim 9, wherein said output means visually outputs the received data using a printer.
- 11. An apparatus according to claim 9, wherein said output means outputs the data stored in said storing means, on the basis of a manual instruction by means of an operator.
