The disclosure and prior art relates to carry cases and more particularly pertains to a new carry case for maintaining and transporting false eyelashes.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a lower case body having a lower front side separated from a lower rear side, a lower left side separated from a lower right side, a lower bottom side, and an open top side. The lower front side, lower rear side, lower left side, lower right side, and lower bottom side form a lower cavity. An upper case body has a upper front side separated from a upper rear side, a upper left side separated from a upper right side, an upper top side, and an open bottom side. The upper front side, upper rear side, upper left side, upper right side, and upper top side form an upper cavity. A hinge mechanism is coupled to the lower rear side and the upper rear side to allow the upper case body to swingably open to an open position and alternatively close to an alternate closed position sealing the lower cavity and the upper cavity. An upper eyelash holder is coupled to the lower case body within the lower cavity and has a raised perimeter, a raised center, and a pair of depressions extending between the raised perimeter and the raised center. The pair of depressions is configured to secure and match the shape of a pair of false upper eyelashes. A lower eyelash holder is coupled within the upper cavity. The lower eyelash holder has a recessed center and a pair of protrusions extending from the recessed center to the upper left side and the upper right side. The recessed center receives the raised center of the upper eyelash holder and the pair of protrusions is received by the pair of depressions when the upper case body is in the closed position. The pair of protrusions is configured to secure and match the shape of a pair of false lower eyelashes.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
An upper eyelash holder 54 is coupled within the lower cavity 26 and has a raised perimeter 56, a raised center 58, and a pair of depressions 60 extending between the raised perimeter 56 and the raised center 58. Each of the pair of depressions 60 may be semi-annular. The pair of depressions 60 is configured to secure and match the shape of a pair of false upper eyelashes 62. A lower eyelash holder 64 is coupled within the upper cavity 42 and has a recessed center 66 and a pair of protrusions 68 extending from the recessed center 66 to the upper left side 34 and the upper right side 36. The recessed center 66 receives the raised center 58 of the upper eyelash holder and the pair of protrusions 68 is received by the pair of depressions 60 when the upper case body 28 is in the closed position 48. Each of the pair of protrusions 68 may be semi-annular. The pair of protrusions 68 is configured to secure and match the shape of a pair of false lower eyelashes 70. In the closed position 48, each of the pair of false lower eyelashes 70 and the pair of false upper eyelashes 62 are held between the pair of protrusions 68 and the pair of depressions 60 to maintain their shape.
There may be a plurality of eyelash adhesives 72 comprising a pair of upper eyelash adhesives 74 coupled to the upper eyelash holder 54 proximal the raised center 58 and a pair of lower eyelash adhesives 76 coupled to the lower eyelash holder 64 adjacent the recessed center 66. The pair of upper eyelash adhesives 74 is configured to secure the pair of false upper eyelashes 62 and the pair of lower eyelash adhesives 76 is configured to secure the pair of false lower eyelashes 70. A round mirror 78 may be coupled to the recessed center 66 of the lower eyelash holder to aid a user in applying the pair of false upper eyelashes 62 and the pair of false lower eyelashes 70.
In use, a user removes the pair of false upper eyelashes 62 and the pair of false lower eyelashes 70 from his or her eyes and places them into the pair of depressions 60 of the upper eyelash holder and onto the pair of protrusions 68 of the lower eyelash holder, respectively. The upper case body 12 is then moved from the open position 46 to the closed position 48 to safely store the pair of false lower eyelashes 70 and the pair of false upper eyelashes 62.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
