BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of Invention
The present disclosure relates to a fan assembly including a fan blade disposed within a globe.
2. Description of the Related Art
Accordingly embodiments of the present disclosure include a fan assembly which having at least one or more fan blades, a globe housing and a high-efficiency motor. A fan assembly in accordance with the present disclosure uses about 80% less energy as compared to those currently available.
SUMMARY OF THE CLAIMED INVENTION
Embodiments of the claimed invention include a fan assembly. Such fan assembly may include a plurality of fan blades, a globe housing encasing the plurality of blades, and a motor operable to power the plurality of fan blades. Some embodiments may further include a base. Such base may further be removably attached to the globe housing.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The fan assembly described herein provides an increased output efficiency through the use of virtually friction-free design. Exemplary fan assembly embodiments in accordance with the present disclosure are illustrated in FIGS. 1-12.
FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of an exemplary fan assembly embodiment. As illustrated, some embodiments may include a base coupled with a globe housing and having a plurality of fan blades disposed therein. The globe housing may be shaped substantially like a globe. In addition, the globe shape may include openings into an interior of the housing, and each of the openings may be configured in a spiral. While the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1 includes the base, other embodiments may include the globe housing without such a base. For example, the globe housing may be mounted to a mounting surface rather than attached to a base.
FIG. 2 illustrates a top, rear perspective view of an exemplary fan assembly similar to that of FIG. 1. FIGS. 3 and 4 illustrate side views thereof. FIG. 5 illustrates a front, perspective view of an embodiment of a fan assembly in accordance with the present disclosure. FIG. 6 illustrates a top plan view thereof.
FIG. 7 illustrates an enlarged side view of an exemplary fan assembly in accordance with the present disclosure. FIG. 8 illustrates a bottom plan view thereof. FIGS. 9-11 illustrate rear views of an embodiment of a fan assembly in accordance with the present disclosure. Finally, FIG. 12 illustrates an enlarged side view of an embodiment of a fan assembly in accordance with the present disclosure. The fan assembly embodiments as illustrate in FIGS. 1-12 can each include a high-efficiency motor operable to power the fan blades.
While FIGS. 1-12 generally depict the fan assembly coupled with a base, it should be recognized that the globe housing and plurality of fan blades can be detached from the base. For example, a fan assembly in accordance with the present disclosure can include only a globe housing having a plurality of fan blades disposed therein and a motor operable to power the plurality of fan blades.
