1. Technical Field
The disclosure relates to a fan cover used in computer.
2. Description of Related Art
Many electronic components in a computer generate heat when operating. In designing the computer, fans are incorporated to dissipate heat generated by the electronic components to prevent the electronic components from overheating.
Fans are usually positioned on a brim of a chassis of the computer for directing air flow into the chassis. High speed rotating fan blades are dangerous for operators. Thus, a fan cover is usually used to prevent operator injury. However, conventionally fan covers define a number of tight and small holes. This structure can satisfy safety requirement for operators, but cannot get good heat dissipating effects (e.g. low airflow).
Therefore, there is room for improvement within the art.
Many aspects of the embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the exemplary fan cover of a computer. Moreover, in the drawings, like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers are used throughout the drawings to refer to the same or like elements of an embodiment.

The fan cover 100 in this disclosure has many advantages. The frame 30 protrudes out from the back plate 200 of the computer 500. Thus, a distance between the fan cover 100 and the fan 310 is increased. With this design, the fan cover 100 is safer than a conventional fan cover 100. Additionally, the ring-shaped portions on the frame 30 allow the ventilation holes 24 to become larger for conveniently dissipating heat.
Understandably, the fan cover 100 may be integrally formed with the back plate 200, and thus, the base plate of the fan cover may be omitted.
It is to be understood, however, that even through numerous characteristics and advantages of the disclosure have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the system and function of the disclosure, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the disclosure to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
