Abstract
The present invention relates to a fan with a relocatable frame, A connecting rod of the fan is pivoted on a pivot of a base and can rotate by 300° against the pivot. A frame of the fan is pivoted on a rotating shaft which is then pivoted on the connecting rod. The frame can rotate by 360° against the rotating shaft and the rotating shaft can also rotate by 360° on the connecting rod. In addition to being put up on a desktop by itself, the fan can also be installed inside a computer.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
a) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a fan with a relocatable frame, and more particularly to a fan, wherein direction of a frame is changeable.

b) Description of the Prior Art

A fan is an indispensable and essential apparatus in a computer. By the cooling function of the fan, a CPU (Central Processing Unit) can be prevented from overheating so that the computer can maintain normal operation. Following the trend of miniaturization of computer products, the design of the fan should be small and compact. However, most of the existing fans are fixed in design, and the fan is installed inside a computer only to dissipate the heat from the CPU. Therefore, if the heat from a power supply or other equipment needs to be reduced, then another fan should be provided. Due to the limitation of internal space in the computer, it will be extremely difficult to install another fan, which needs to be improved.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a fan, wherein the direction of a frame can be changed freely to alter the position of the frame, so that in addition to being put up on a desktop by itself, the fan can be also installed inside a computer to cool down a CPU. Furthermore, the fan can turn backward, dissipating heat from other electronic equipment inside the computer.

To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a fan comprises a base 10, a pivot 20, a connecting rod 30, a rotating shaft 40 and a frame 50. A center of the base 10 is provided with a slot hole 11, a periphery of the base 10 is provided at least with a positioning hole 12 for installing the base 10 inside a computer, and one periphery of the base 10 is provided with a through-hole 13.

The pivot 20 is installed in the through-hole 13 of the base 10; whereas, an interior of the pivot 20 is provided with a longitudinal hole 21 and a transversal hole 22. A shaft rod 23 penetrates the longitudinal hole 21 and the through-hole 13 of the base 10 from top to bottom, and is then positioned in an axle seat 24 at a bottom end of the pivot 20 to fix the pivot 20.

A bottom end of the connecting rod 30 is provided with a triangular groove 31 to lock the pivot 20. A bottom end of the connecting rod 30 is provided with two through-holes 32, 33, a shaft rod 34 penetrates one through-hole 32 and the transversal hole 22 of the pivot 20, and is then pivoted in an axle seat 35 of another through-hole 33, in order to pivot the connecting rod 30 on the pivot 20. In addition, the connecting rod 30 rotates clockwise and counterclockwise by 300° on the base 10 against the pivot 20.

A shaft rod 41 at an end of the rotating shaft 40 is sheathed with a washer 42 and is then pivoted in a shaft hole 361 of a pivot seat 36 on a top end of the connecting rod 30. In addition, the rotating shaft 40 can rotate by 360° against the shaft rod 41.

A shaft rod 51 at an end of the frame 50 is sheathed with a washer 52 and is then pivoted in a shaft hole of the rotating shaft 40 (not shown in the drawings). The frame 50 can rotate by 360° against the shaft rod 51. Moreover, an LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamp shade 53 can be installed on a proper location on the frame 50 to provide a light effect.

Referring to FIG. 3, an end of the rotating shaft 40 is provided with an insertion hole 43 for insertion with a connector 61 which is disposed at an end of a power cord 60; whereas, a 4-pin connector at another end of the power cord 60 can be inserted into the computer. As the connector 61 is in a round shape, it can rotate by 360° to facilitate wiring the power cord 60.

Referring to FIGS. 4, 4-1, 4-2 and 4-3, the present invention utilizes a pivot 20 and a rotating shaft 40 to change the location of a fan 50, with that the pivot 20 and the base 10 can be combined as one unit, the rotating shaft 40 and the connecting rod 30 can be combined as one unit, or the rotating shaft 40 and the frame 50 can be combined as one unit, which are all the forms of implementation and are protected by the claims.

Referring to FIG. 5, in addition to being put up on a desktop by itself to cool down a laptop computer, the fan of the present invention can also be installed inside a computer 70. Additionally, referring to FIG. 6, two fans can be arranged front to back inside the computer 70. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 7, direction of the frame 50 can be changed to dissipate heat from other electronic equipment, in addition to internal parts in the computer 70.

In conclusion, in addition to dissipating heat from plural electronic equipment inside a computer, the fan can be also put up on a desktop by itself to cool down a laptop computer.

It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
