Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a fastening means of return air grille, and more particularly to a fastening means of grid face of air grille.

2. Description of Prior Art

So far, in some homes or offices, on the ceilings and walls there are air ventilation facilities set up for making rooms get circulated fresh air, further keeping the air cleaner and fresher in the rooms, therein between the grid face and the stationary frame a filter is located. During a certain long time of use, said filtering device should be taken out for cleaning or replacing, but in removing filter, firstly the user should open the grid face, generally which is hinged to the stationary frame on the top side, the opposite side is fastened on the stationary frame with a pair of metal fixed lever, due to poor elasticity of metal, so as opening grid face an extra force has to be needed to release the metal lever from the stationary frame, therefore, the finger feels uncomfortable and exerts more force.

OBJECTS AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a fastening means of grid face of air grille that is operated easily with simpler structure and easier and more convenient operation.

For achieving the object, the present invention providing technique project is to set a grid face fastening means including a grid face, a filtering device, a stationary frame and door latches, in which said grid face is hinged to the stationary frame with one side, and the opposite side of the grid face is fastened on the stationary frame with the door latches; wherein said door clatch molded of plastic is located on the grid face in movable connection with a catching hook at the middle portion; a pushing portion is built upon the upside of the door latch, and a L-shaped catching shoe on the lower portion, above the L-shaped catching shoe the catching hook is built up for holding the grid face on, and an open slot constructed of the low leg of the L-shaped shoe and the bottom of said pushing portion is used to catch on the stationary frame.

Said open slot possesses two opposite teeth built on the inside approaching to the open end.

Said grid face possesses locating slots for retaining the door latch in, and said door latch can slide along the slot, coordinating to the locating slots there are locating holes built upon the stationary frame.

Said stationary frame possesses a catching hole built upon one side and approaching to each catching hole.

The pushing portion of said door latch is wider than width of the locating slot of the grid face, and the catching shoe is narrower than the width of the locating slot of the grid face.

Said open slot of the catching shoe is wider than or equal to the thickness of wall of the stationary frame.

The distance of the teeth formed adjacent to the open ends of the open slot is smaller than the thickness of the side wall of the stationary frame.

The pushing portion of said door latch possesses a curved surface coordinating to the finger pad.

The curved surface of the pushing portion is fabricated with rough-plane for facilitating to anti-skid touching.

By means of the above-mentioned technique project, because the door latch applied is a sole piece of part molded of plastic, and is located on the grid face with the middle portion in slide motion, its upper portion is formed a pushing portion, and the low portion forms a L-shaped catching shoe, and a catching hook is built on the middle portion above the catching shoe for holding the grid face on, and an open slot constructed of the low leg of the L-shaped shoe and the bottom of said pushing portion is used to catch on the stationary frame; so the fastening way of locating the grid face on the stationary frame is horizontal launching, by means of the material features of the plastic door latch, such as good elasticity feature, locking or releasing operation of grid face is much easier with less force needed; when opening the grid face, just need to push the door latch respectively to outward so as to slide off from the stationary frame, the grid face is opened wholly, in this case, locking or opening the grid face becomes easy and convenient.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 2 to FIG. 7, the present invention provides a fastening means of return air grille, which is comprised of a stationary frame 1, a filter 2 and a grid face 3 and door latch 4.

Said stationary frame 1 is mounted on the ceiling or wall, and possesses locating holes 11 (there are two in this embodiment) and catching holes 12 built beside of the locating hole 11 with a certain space;

Said filter 2 is placed between the stationary frame 1 and the grid face 3;

Said grid face 3 possesses locating slots 31 coordinating to the locating holes 11 of the stationary frame 1;

Referring to FIG. 1, said door latch 4 is a pushing block, on which a pushing portion 41 is formed on the upper portion with a curved surface coordinating to the finger pad of a operator, and said pushing portion 41 is fabricated with a rough-plane 411 for increasing the friction force between the finger and the pushing portion 41, facilitating to push the door latch to move; a L-shaped catching shoe 42 is built upon the low portion below said pushing portion 41, the pushing portion 41 of said door latch 4 is wider than width of the locating slot 31 of the grid face 3, and the catching shoe 42 is narrower than the width of the locating slot 31 of the grid face 3, above adjacent said catching shoe 42 having an elastic catching hook 421 is built upon one side upward, and on the other side, the catching shoe 42 and the bottom side of the pushing portion 41 constructs a U-shaped open slot 422 that is wider than or equal to the thickness of the wall of the stationary frame, meanwhile said open slot 422 possesses two opposite teeth 423 built on the inside approaching to the open end respectively, so that the distance from the teeth 423 to the closed end of the open slot 422 is bigger than the distance from the locating hole 11 to the catching hole 12 of the stationary frame 1, meanwhile the distance between both teeth 423 is smaller than the thickness of the side wall of the stationary frame 1.

In combination, as shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 5, said grid face 3 is hinged to the stationary frame 1 at one side with a pair of hinges 32 together, said door latches 4 are respectively located in the locating slots 31 on the opposite side by means of the elastic catching hook 421, then put the filter 2 between the grid face 3 and the stationary frame 1, next press each catching shoe 42 of the door latch 4 into the locating hole 11 of the stationary frame 1 to secure the grid face 3 to the stationary frame 1, so that the catching shoes 42 are all stretched into the locating holes 11 such as the open end of the slot 422 faces to the end wall of the locating hole 11, then push the door latches 4 so that the open slot 422 saddles on the wall of the stationary frame 1 by sliding movement, until the teeth 423 built on the tip opposite open ends of the open slot 422 catch into the catching holes 12, for preventing the door latches 4 from sliding off, so the grid face 3 is completely fastened on the stationary frame 1, in the same time, the filter 2 is located between the grid face 3 and the stationary frame 1.

When tending to open the grid face 3 to take out the filter 2 for cleaning or replacing, as shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, push the door latches 4 outward along the locating slots 31, such as in the reverse direction of locking operation, meanwhile the open slot 422 of the catching shoe 42 will slide off from the wall of the stationary frame 1, the locking link is released, suck as the grid face 3 can be opened from the stationary frame 1, so the filter 2 can be taken out for cleaning or replacing.

In accordance with above-description, the door latch 4 provided of the present invention is a sole body molded of plastic, and located on the grid face 3, thereby fastening on the stationary frame, and allows the remove of filter 2 be easier and more convenient.
