Claims
- 1. A water-in-oil type-emulsified composition for cosmetics which comprises the combination of components:(i) glycerine, (ii) oil, wax, or a combination thereof, (iii) water, and (iv - a) a fatty acid esters composition of a polyglycerine containing more than 70% of a fatty acid monoester represented by the general formula (1) described below: RCO—[OCH2CH(OH)CH2]n—OH (1) wherein R is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or a hydroxyl group-substituted alkyl group which have a carbon number ranging from 6 to 21, and n is an integer of at least 4, based on a peak area ratio detected using an ultraviolet ray absorption detector in a high performance liquid chromatographic analysis method; or(iv - b) a highly-purified fatty acid esters composition of a polyglycerine having an oxirane oxygen concentration of below 100 ppm, said oxirane concentration is defined by the titration method defined in Cd. 9-57 of Journal of American Oil Chemists' Society, or having a ratio of below 0.01%, said ratio is a peak area value of a chemical shift between 2.7 ppm and 2.8 ppm assigned by methylene proton derived from an oxirane group with respect to a peak area value of a chemical shift between 3.4 ppm and 4.4 ppm assigned by methylene proton and methine proton derived from a polyglycerine with a proton NMR.
- 2. A water-in-oil type=emulsified composition for cosmetics as set forth in claim 1, wherein said component (ii) comprises a liquid paraffin, vaseline, olive oil, lanolin, squalene, tri(capryl-capric acid)glyceryl, bleached bees wax, or a combination thereof.
- 3. A transparent liquid composition for cosmetics which comprises the combination of components:(i) at least one non-ionic surface active agent, (ii) at least one water-soluble compound having at least two hydroxyl groups, (iii) at least one oily component, (iv) water, and (v - a) a fatty acid esters composition of a polyglycerine containing more than 70% of a fatty acid monoester represented by the general formula (1) described below: RCO—[OCH2CH(OH)CH2]n—OH (1) wherein R is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or a hydroxyl group-substituted alkyl group which have a carbon number ranging from 6 to 21, and n is an integer of at least 4, based on a peak area ratio detected using an ultraviolet ray absorption detector in a high performance liquid chromatographic analysis method; or(v - b) a highly-purified fatty acid esters composition of a polyglycerine having an oxirane oxygen concentration of below 100 ppm, said oxirane concentration is defined by the titration method defined in Cd. 9-57 of Journal of American Oil Chemists' Society, or having a ratio of below 0.01%, said ratio is a peak area value of a chemical shift between 2.7 ppm and 2.8 ppm assigned by methylene proton derived from an oxirane group with respect to a peak area value of a chemical shift between 3.4 ppm and 4.4 ppm assigned by methylene proton and methine proton derived from a polyglycerine with a proton NMR.
- 4. A transparent liquid composition for cosmetics as set forth in claim 3, wherein said oily component (iii) comprises vegetable oil, squalene, a fatty acid ester of sorbitan, a fatty acid ester of diglycerine, tri(2-ethylhexanoic acid) glyceryl, tri(capryl-capric acid)glyceryl, a liquid paraffin, a polysiloxane compound, or a combination thereof.
- 5. A transparent liquid composition for cosmetics as set forth in claim 3, wherein said water-soluble compound having at least two hydroxyl groups, component (ii), comprises propylene glycol, 1,3-butanediol, dipropylene glycol, glycerine, diglycerine, a polyglycerine, trimethylol propane, erythritol, pentaerythritol, isopreneglycol, sorbitan, glucose, sorbitol, multiotl, saccharose, polyoxy-methylene methylglucoside, diethylene glycol, a polyethyleneglycol, or a combination thereof.
- 6. A transparent liquid composition for cosmetics as set forth in claim 3, wherein said non-ionic surface active agent, component (i), comprises a fatty acid ester of sorbitan, a fatty acid ester of glycerin, a fatty acid ester of a polyethylene glycol, a polyoxyethylene alkylether, a polyoxy-ethylene alkylphenylether, a polyopxyethylene sorbitan ester of a fatty acid, a polyoxyethylene sorbitol ester of a fatty acid, or a combination thereof.
- 7. A gel-like emulsified composition for cosmetics which comprises the combination of components:(i) glycerine, (ii) liquid oily component, (iii) a polyvalent alcohol except glycerine, and (iv - a) a fatty acid esters composition of a polyglycerine containing more than 70% of a fatty acid monoester represented by the general formula (1) described below: RCO—[OCH2CH(OH)CH2]n—OH (1) wherein R is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or a hydroxyl group-substituted alkyl group which have a carbon number ranging from 6 to 21, and n is an integer of at least 4, based on a peak area ratio detected using an ultraviolet ray absorption detector in a high performance liquid chromatographic analysis method; or(iv - b) a highly-purified fatty acid esters composition of a polyglycerine having an oxirane oxygen concentration of below 100 ppm, said oxirane concentration is defined by the titration method defined in Cd. 9-57 of Journal of American Oil Chemists' Society, or having a ratio of below 0.01%, said ratio is a peak area value of a chemical shift between 2.7 ppm and 2.8 ppm assigned by methylene proton derived from an oxirane group with respect to a peak area value of a chemical shift between 3.4 ppm and 4.4 ppm assigned by methylene proton and methine proton derived from a polyglycerine with a proton NMR.
- 8. A gel-like emulsified composition for cosmetics as set forth in claim 7, wherein said liquid oily component (ii) comprises a hydrocarbon oil, a liquid paraffin, squalene, an ester oil, cetyl octanate, isopropyl myristate, a fatty acid triglyceride, tioctanic acid, triglyceride, olive oil, or a combination thereof.
- 9. A gel-like emulsified composition for cosmetics as set forth in claim 7, wherein said polyvalent alcohol except glycerine, component (iii), comprises propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, maltitol, sorbitol, or a combination thereof.
- 10. A foaming composition for cleaning which comprises the combination of components:(i) at least one of a lower monovalent alcohol having a carbon number ranging from 1 to 3, (ii) water, (iii) at least one of a higher alcohol having a carbon number ranging from 12 to 22, and (iv - a) a fatty acid esters composition of a polyglycerine containing more than 70% of a fatty acid monoester represented by the general formula (1) described below: RCO—[OCH2CH(OH)CH2]n—OH (1) wherein R is an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or a hydroxyl group-substituted alkyl group which have a carbon number ranging from 6 to 21, an n is an integer of at least 4, based on a peak area ratio detected using an ultraviolet ray absorption detector in a high performance liquid chromatographic analysis method; or(iv - b) a highly-purified fatty acid esters composition of a polyglycerine having an oxirane oxygen concentration of below 100 ppm, said oxirane concentration is defined by the titration method defined in Cd. 9-47 of Journal of American Oil Chemists' Society, or having a ratio of below 0.01%, said ratio is a peak area value of a chemical shift between 2.7 ppm and 2.8 ppm assigned by methylene proton derived from an oxirane group with respect to a peak area value of a chemical shift between 3.4 ppm and 4.4 ppm assigned by methylene proton and methine proton derived from a polyglycerine with a proton NMR. (v) a foaming agent.
- 11. A foaming composition for cleaning as set forth in claim 10, wherein said lower monovalent alcohol having a carbon number ranging from 1 to 3, component (i), comprises ethanol, n-propanol, isopropanol, or a combination thereof.
- 12. A foaming composition for cleaning as set forth in claim 10, wherein said higher alcohol having a carbon number ranging from 12 to 22, component (iii), comprises lauryl alcohol, myristyl alcohol, palmityl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, oleyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, behenyl alcohol, or a combination thereof.
