Claims
- 1. A fence covering system, comprising:
a frame configured and dimensioned to cover a portion of an existing fence; a panel included with the frame to provide a visual effect; and a connector being disposed on the frame or on a portion of the fence, the connector providing an attachment position for the frame.
- 2. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the frame includes a first portion for covering a first side of a fence and a second portion for covering a second side of the fence opposite the first side.
- 3. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the panel is integrally formed with the frame.
- 4. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the panel is removable from the frame.
- 5. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the connector includes a first portion for a first side of a fence and a second portion for a second side of the fence opposite the first side, wherein a portion of the connector passes through the fence to attach the first and second portion.
- 6. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the connector includes split half portions which connected over a fence pole.
- 7. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the frame includes a single part which provides a cavity for receiving the fence therein.
- 8. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, further comprising a plurality of frames disposed adjacent to one another along the fence wherein each frame is connectable to the adjacent frame or frames.
- 9. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the frame includes a top portion, which extends a height above the existing fence.
- 10. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the connector includes an adjustable portion, which extends longitudinally along the existing fence to provide a connection position for a plurality of frames.
- 11. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the frame is adapted to receive a fence pole.
- 12. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the frame includes a portion, which receives a planter.
- 13. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the frame includes a light post.
- 14. A fence covering system, comprising:
a split portion post having portions connectable over a portion of an existing fence; a panel dimensioned and configured to cover a portion of the fence; and a recess formed in the post for receiving and securing a portion of the panel such that the panel is secured by the post to maintain the panel in an operational position relative to the fence.
- 15. The fence covering system as recited in claim 14, wherein the panel is attached to the post to from a frame and the recess in the post receives a panel of an adjacent frame.
- 16. The fence covering system as recited in claim 14, further comprising a cap, which connects to a top portion of the panel between adjacent posts.
- 17. The fence covering system as recited in claim 14, further comprising a second panel secured on an opposite side of the fence from the other panel.
- 18. The fence covering system as recited in claim 14, further comprising a connector having a first portion for a first side of a fence and a second portion for a second side of the fence opposite the first side, the connector for providing an attachment position for the post.
- 19. The fence covering system as recited in claim 18, wherein the connector includes split half portions which connect over a fence pole.
- 20. The fence covering system as recited in claim 14, further comprising a plurality of posts and panels disposed adjacent to one another along the fence to cover the fence.
- 21. The fence covering system as recited in claim 14, wherein further comprising a top portion, which extends a height above the existing fence.
- 22. The fence covering system as recited in claim 14, wherein the panel includes a portion, which receives a planter.
- 23. The fence covering system as recited in claim 14, wherein the post includes a light post.
- 24. A fence covering system, comprising:
a first frame configured and dimensioned to cover a portion of an existing fence, and a second frame connected to the first frame at an upper portion; the first frame and the second frame each including a panel forming a major surface thereof for covering an existing fence, the panel providing a visual effect; and securing means mechanically connectable to the existing fence, the securing means providing an anchor position on the fence to permit a portion of at leas one of the first frame and the second frame to be attached to the connector to secure the frame to the fence.
- 25. The fence covering system as recited in claim 1, wherein the securing means includes a connector having a first portion for a first side of a fence and a second portion for a second side of the fence opposite the first side, wherein a portion of the connector passes through the fence to attach the first and second portion.
- 26. The fence covering system as recited in claim 25, wherein the connector includes split half portions, which connect over a fence pole.
- 27. The fence covering system as recited in claim 25, wherein the connector includes an adjustable portion, which extends longitudinally along the existing fence to provide a connection position for a plurality of frames.
- 28. The fence covering system as recited in claim 24, further comprising a plurality of frames disposed adjacent to one another along the fence wherein each frame is connectable to the adjacent frame or frames.
- 29. The fence covering system as recited in claim 24, wherein the first and second frames include a top portion, which extends a height above the existing fence.
- 30. The fence covering system as recited in claim 24, wherein the frame includes a portion, which receives a planter.
- 31. The fence covering system as recited in claim 24, wherein the frame includes a light post.
