Claims
- 1. The process for producing mureidomycin A, B, C, D or a salt thereof by cultivating Streptomyces flavidovirens SANK 60486 FERM BP-1347, in an aqueous nutrient medium containing assimilable sources of carbon, nitrogen and inorganic substances under aerobic conditions and isolating at least one of mureidomycin A, B, C, D or a salt thereof from the cultured broth.
- 2. The process as claimed in claim 1, wherein said cultivation temperature is from 20.degree. to 37.degree. C.
- 3. The process as claimed in claim 2, wherein said temperature is about 22.degree. C.
- 4. The process of claim 1 for producing mureidomycin A or a salt thereof by cultivating said Streptomyces in a culture medium therefor and isolating mureidomycin A or a salt thereof from the cultured broth.
- 5. The process as claimed in claim 4, wherein said cultivation temperature is from 20.degree. to 37.degree. C.
- 6. The process as claimed in claim 5, wherein said temperature is about 22.degree. C.
- 7. The process of claim 1 for producing mureidomycin B or a salt thereof by cultivating said Streptomyces in a culture medium therefor and isolating mureidomycin B or a salt thereof from the cultured broth.
- 8. The process as claimed in claim 7, wherein said cultivation temperature is from 20.degree. to 37.degree. C.
- 9. The process as claimed in claim 8, wherein said temperature is about 22.degree. C.
- 10. The process of claim 1 for producing mureidomycin C or a salt thereof by cultivating said Streptomyces in a culture medium therefor and isolating mureidomycin C or a salt thereof from the cultured broth.
- 11. The process as claimed in claim 10, wherein said cultivation temperature is from 20.degree. to 37.degree. C.
- 12. The process as claimed in claim 11, wherein said temperature is about 22.degree. C.
- 13. The process of claim 1 for producing mureidomycin D or a salt thereof by cultivating said Streptomyces in a culture medium therefor and isolating mureidomycin D or a salt thereof from the cultured broth.
- 14. The process as claimed in claim 13, wherein said cultivation temperature is from 20.degree. to 37.degree. C.
- 15. The process as claimed in claim 14, wherein said temperature is about 22.degree. C.
