Claims
- 1. A filtering device for taking a filtrate sample for a measurement from liquid matter containing solid particles, the filtering device comprising:
two filter parts defining at least one filtering slot therebetween, the filter parts being configured to move in relation to each other at least during rinsing in such a manner that a width of said at least one filtering slot changes when the filter parts move in relation to each other.
- 2. A filtering device as claimed in claim 1, wherein when taking a sample from a process in a sampling direction, said at least one filtering slot between the filter parts is at a minimal width, and said at least one filtering slot between the filter parts is configured to filter the sample while the liquid matter being measured flows from the process to the measurement, and when rinsing the filtering device against the sampling direction, the filter parts are configured to move away from each other, whereby the width of said at least one filtering slot increases.
- 3. A filtering device as claimed in claim 1, wherein each filter part comprises at least one guide extension and guide chamber configured to centre the filter parts with respect to each other.
- 4. A filtering device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the filter parts are configured to fit together such that, when the filter parts are pressed against each other, each guide extension presses into the corresponding guide chamber, and the at least one filtering slot is defined between the filter parts.
- 5. A filtering device as claimed in claim 2, wherein when the sample is taken from the process, the process has an associated pressure configured to press the filter parts towards each other and to minimize the width of said at least one filtering slot between the filter parts, and when rinsing the filtering device against the sampling direction, the rinsing has an associated pressure configured to move the filter parts away from each other.
- 6. A filtering device as claimed in claim 2, wherein the filter parts are magnetised to attract each other, whereby the filter parts remain close to each other so as to minimize the width of the at least one filtering slot other than when rinsing the filtering device.
- 7. A filtering device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the filtering slot flares in the flow direction of the sample to facilitate the rinsing of the filtering device.
- 8. A filtering device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the liquid matter containing solid particles is stock used in manufacturing paper and board.
