Claims
- 1. A fishing pole harness device configured to connect with a fishing pole, said device comprising:
a belt portion configured to fit around a body portion of a user; and at least one adjustable length connector portion connected to said belt portion, said connector portion configured to connect with the fishing pole.
- 2. A device according to claim 1, wherein said at least one adjustable length connector portion is defined by a pair of adjustable length connector portions.
- 3. A device according to claim 2, wherein said adjustable length connector portions are connected to opposite sides of said belt portion.
- 4. A device according to claim 3, wherein said belt portion is provided with a pair of connecting rings on opposite sides of said belt portion for connecting with said pair of adjustable length connector portions.
- 5. A device according to claim 4, wherein said pair of adjustable length connector portions are releasably connected to said connecting rings of said belt portion.
- 6. A device according to claim 1, wherein said at least one adjustable length connector portion is configured to releasably connected to the fishing pole.
- 7. A device according to claim 6, wherein said at least one adjustable length connector portion is configured to releasably connect to a fishing reel of said fishing pole.
- 8. A device according to claim 1, wherein said at least one adjustable length connector is configured to allow both lengthening and shortening of said at least one adjustable length connector during use.
- 9. A device according to claim 1, wherein said at least one adjustable length connector includes a racheted pulley device.
- 10. A device according to claim 2, wherein said adjustable length connectors include racheted pulley devices.
- 11. A device according to claim 1, wherein said belt portion is defined by a waist belt portion.
- 12. A device according to claim 11, wherein said waist belt portion is provided with at least one pair of strap portions connecting a pair of ring connectors located on opposite sides of said waist belt portion to said waist belt portion.
- 13. A device according to claim 12, wherein said waist belt portion includes a pair of inclined strap portions connecting to said pair of ring connectors.
- 14. A device according to claim 13, wherein said inclined strap portions connect to said waist belt portion at a center rear position on said waist belt portion.
- 15. A device according to claim 1, wherein said belt portion is adjustable in length.
- 16. A device according to claim 11, wherein said waist belt portion is adjustable in length.
- 17. A device according to claim 16, wherein said waist belt portion is provided with a releasable belt buckle configured to adjust a length of said waist belt portion.
- 18. A device according to claim 11, wherein said waist belt portion is provided with a strap portion configured to wrap around and below a user's buttocks area.
- 19. A device according to claim 11, including a pair of hip cushions connected to said waist belt portion.
- 20. A device according to claim 18, including a pair of hip cushions connected to said waist belt portion.
