1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to fitness equipment and more specifically, to a fitness device, which is selectively mountable on the floor in two reversed directions for different exercise applications.
2. Description of the Related Art
Yoga equipment, fitness machines and body sculpting machines are commercially available for different types of fitness exercises. However, these exercising apparatuses commonly have a complicated structure consisting of a large amount of component parts and requiring much storage space. Thus, these conventional exercising apparatuses are not convenient for delivery or storage.
Therefore, it is desirable to provide a fitness equipment that has the advantages of simple structure and ease of use and, that is suitable for different types of fitness exercises.
The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a fitness device that is selectively mountable on the floor in two reversed directions for different types of exercises and has the advantages of simple structure and ease of use.
To achieve this and other objects of the present invention, a fitness device comprises a chair body and a plurality of support frame bars mounted at the bottom side of the chair body in a parallel manner. Each support frame bar comprises a first base frame bar portion and a second base frame bar portion longitudinally connected in a line and defining therebetween a contained angle facing toward said chair body and smaller than 180 degrees.
Further, two handheld portions are provided at the periphery of the chair body and bilaterally disposed near the front side of the chair body, and a handlebar is fixedly mounted at the back side of the chair body on the middle and protruding over the two opposite lateral sides of the chair body.
Further, a circuit recess is located in the top wall of the chair body near its front side, and a rotating wheel is rotatably mounted in the circular recess.
Further, a headrest is provided at the top side of the chair body, and a stop block is provided at one end of each support frame bar.
Further, a ball bearing ring is provided between the rotating wheel and the circular recess.
Referring to
The chair body 1 comprises a chair seat 11, a chair back 12 obliquely upwardly extended from a rear side of the chair seat 11 defined with the chair seat 11 a predetermined contained angle, two handheld portions 111 bilaterally located at and formed integral with front bottom sides of the chair seat 11, a circular recess 112 located in the top wall of the chair seat 11, an axle hole 114 located at the center of the circular recess 112, an axle bearing 113 mounted in the axle hole 114, a rotating wheel 13 horizontally and rotatably mounted in the circular recess 112 and having a wheel axle 131 downwardly extended from the center of the bottom side thereof and rotatably coupled to the axle bearing 113, a handlebar 14 fixedly and transversely mounted at the back side of the chair back 12 on the middle and respectively protruding over two opposite lateral sides of the chair back 12, a top connection bar 16 located at the top side of the chair back 12, a headrest 15 adjustably mounted at the top connection bar 16, and a ball bearing ring 17 set between the rotating wheel 13 and the circular recess 112. The ball bearing ring 17 comprises an outer race 171 fixedly mounted at the bottom side of the rotating wheel 13, an inner race 172 fixedly mounted in the circular recess 112, and a plurality of balls 173 rotatably supported between the outer race 171 and the inner race 172. During rotation of the rotating wheel 13, the balls 173 keep the rotating wheel 13 in balance.
The support frame bars 2 are arranged in parallel, each defining a first base frame bar portion 21, a second base frame bar portion 22 longitudinally connected to one end of the first base frame bar portion 21 and defining with the first base frame bar portion 21 a contained angle smaller than 180 degrees, a first connection frame bar portion 23 extended from the other end of the first base frame bar portion 21 at a predetermined angle and fixedly connected to the bottom side of the chair seat 11, a second connection frame bar portion 24 from the other end of the second base frame bar portion 22 at a predetermined angle and fixedly connected to the bottom side of the chair back 12.
Further, a transverse reinforcing bar 25 can be connected between each two adjacent support frame bars 2 to reinforce the structural strength. Further, anti-slip pads 3 can be provided at the bottom side of the first base frame bar portion 21 of each support frame bar 2. In this embodiment, the fitness device comprises two support frame bars 2. However, this support frame bar arrangement is not a limitation.

Referring to
Subject to the design that the first base frame bar portion 21 and second base frame bar portion 22 of each support frame bar 2 define a predetermined contained angle smaller than 180 degrees, the fitness device can be selectively supported on the floor to keep the first base frame bar portions 21 or second base frame bar portions 22 of the support frame bars 2 in direct contact with the floor for different types of exercises. The fitness device has the advantages of simple structure and ease of use.
