Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a fixed type structure unit for restoring lost sand, a structure and a restoring method, and more particularly, to a fixed type structure unit for restoring lost sand which is disposed under water to restore lost sand due to coastal erosion or riverside erosion using the Venturi effect, a structure using the same and a restoring method using the same.

BACKGROUND ART

Recently, erosion of the seashore where there are lots of waves raises a problem. In general, erosion of the seashore has local causes by weather conditions, such as storms, and long-term causes by continuous waves and the ebb and flow of the tide. In fact, such erosion carries on in all seasons, and particularly, waves by northwest wind and southwest wind generated in winter season cause more severe erosion.

In order to prevent coastal erosion, breakwater structures and block structures have been generally used.

The breakwater structures are to create fixed temperature sea areas of wide spaces and protect the shoreline by reducing wave energy of waves toward the shore, but are insufficient in absorption and dispersion of wave energy. Moreover, the breakwater structures may cause a serious erosion by standing waves reflected by being crashed into the breakwater structures, and in severe cases, the breakwater structures may collapse to lose their function.

Moreover, the breakwater structures which are constructed to protrude on the surface of water destroy natural landscape, cause serious water pollution because seawater stands in a predetermined area, and have bad influences on the natural ecosystem.

In the meantime, the block structures are disclosed in Korean Patent Nos. 10-089552 and 10-1011020. The block structures reduce movement of sand due to costal erosion because they are accumulated on sand in an area where erosion occurs. However, the block structures have several disadvantages in that it is difficult to install them to, fit to the form of the seabed while a plurality of the block structures are joined and installed and in that sand existing between the blocks and the seabed is easily swept off by the waves.

MODE FOR INVENTION

Reference will now made in detail to the preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 7, a fixed type cover structure unit (U) which is disposed under water in order to restore sand lost due to coastal erosion or riverside erosion has the following configuration.

In detail, the fixed type cover structure unit (U) includes: an inlet part 10 and an outlet part 20 which are respectively disposed at both open end portions in the length direction; and an erosion part 30 which is formed at a lower part to be opened and has a cross section which becomes higher toward the inlet part 10 in the length direction. A hollow part (H) is disposed integrally inside the fixed type cover structure unit (U) to restore lost sand using the Venturi effect.

The Venturi effect means the phenomenon that a flow rate of a fluid increases at a constricted section of a structure of which the cross-section area is reduced gradually.

In other words, as shown in FIG. 7, the fixed type cover structure unit (U) is manufactured to be gradually reduced in the cross section to induce an increase of the flow rate of the fluid, thereby positively restoring lost sand.

The running water must be induced to direct to the outlet part 20 from the inlet part 10, and so, directions of the inlet part 10 and the outlet part 20 are determined according to the basic direction of the running water. In case of seashore or riverside, it is preferable that the outlet part 20 be disposed in the land direction.

Moreover, as shown in FIG. 7, the erosion part 30 is disposed at a lower part of the fixed type cover structure unit (U) to be opened, so that sand on the floor is eroded according to the flow of the running water and the eroded sand is accumulates through the outlet part 20.

Therefore, the Venturi effect can be obtained when the cross-section area of the outlet part 20 becomes narrower than that of the inlet part 10. So, the erosion part 30 is formed in such a way that the height of the cross section is increased toward the inlet part 10 in the length direction.

In this instance, as shown in FIG. 4, the fixed type cover structure unit (U) can be manufactured to have various sectional shapes, such as a rectangular shape, curved shape, a triangular shape, a trapezoidal shape and so on. Also, the hollow part (H) may be manufactured to have various sectional shapes according to the sectional shape of the fixed type cover structure unit (U). However, it is obvious that the shape of the hollow part (H) must be formed to cause the Venturi effect.

In the meantime, the fixed type cover structure unit (U) includes a pair of outer wall parts 40 and 40′ disposed in the length direction and a cover part 50 for covering upper portions of the outer wall parts 40 and 40′.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the fixed type cover structure unit (U) has the above-mentioned shape. Meanwhile, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that the outer wall parts 40 and 40′ may be manufactured to have a diagonal line shape or a curved line shape besides an erect shape and that the cover part 50 may be also manufactured to have a curved line shape besides a horizontal shape.

In the meantime, the outlet part 20 of the fixed type cover structure unit (U) has an outflow induction part 21 disposed at an end portion thereof to have a predetermined height, and the inlet part 10 of the fixed type cover structure unit (U) has an inflow induction part 11 formed to be inclined outwardly and downwardly in the length direction.

The outflow induction part 21 serves to induce a continuous flow of the running water. If the outflow induction part 21 is not formed, there is some problem in flow of the running water due to a sudden increase of the flow rate at the outside of the outlet part 20 and an ascending phenomenon of sand may occur. However, because the running water can flow continuously through the outflow induction part 21, the eroded sand is positively induced toward the outside of the outlet part 20 to be accumulated.

The inflow induction part 11 is formed to be inclined outwardly and downwardly to reduce pressure applied to the inlet part 10 and to induce a natural flow of the running water without a sudden change in the flow of the running water.

In the meantime, the fixed type cover structure unit (U) has loss preventing parts 60 and 60′ vertically formed at both width direction ends in the length direction.

The loss preventing parts 60 and 60′ are formed to prevent that the eroded sand generated by erosion through the erosion part 30 is not discharged through the outlet part 20 but discharged out through a lower portion of the flank of the fixed type cover structure unit (U). It is preferable that the cross sections of the loss preventing parts 60 and 60′ be formed thinner than the fixed type cover structure unit (U), be formed in a wedge shape and be made of a metallic material. The reason is to insert the loss preventing parts 60 and 60′ into the bottom by self-load.

Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 4, the cross section of the hollow part (H) is formed to have a curvature, and a screw groove 70 may be formed on the inner surface of the fixed type cover structure unit (U) so that the hollow part (H) has a screw shape.

The hollow part (H) has the screw shape by the screw groove 70, so that the flow of the running water can be induced more positively and erosion to the bottom can be more active.

Additionally, as shown in FIG. 5, the fixed type cover structure unit (U) has a plurality of wire holes 80 through which induction wires (W) penetrate.

The fixed type cover structure units (U) must be arranged continuously to be parallel with the neighboring cover structure units (U) in the length direction when the fixed type cover structure units (U) are arranged. Hence, the fixed type cover structure units (U) require precision in working.

Therefore, when the induction wires (W) penetrate the wire holes 80 of the fixed type cover structure units (U) and the fixed type cover structure units (U) naturally move along the induction wires (W), the fixed type cover structure units (U) can be precisely arranged in parallel with the neighboring fixed type cover structure units (U) in the length direction.

Moreover, as shown in FIG. 6, a sluice 90 is disposed at the outlet part 20 of the fixed type cover structure unit (U) to be opened and closed by the flow of the running water.

The sluice 90 is naturally opened and closed by the flow of the running water. In this instance, the sluice 90 is opened when the flow of the running water heads the land direction, but is closed when the flow of the running water heads the underwater direction, so that it prevents backward movement of sand.

For this, it is preferable that the sluice 90 have a hinge at an upper portion thereof to open and close the sluice 90.

In the meantime, as shown in FIG. 3, a fixed type structure (S) installed under water to restore sand lost by coastal erosion or riverside erosion according to the present invention is installed in such a way that the fixed type cover structure units (U) are continuously arranged to be parallel in the length direction.

In this instance, the fixed type cover structure units (U) may be arranged in various ways, but it is preferable that the fixed type cover structure units (U) be fixed using the induction wires (W) as described above.

Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 10, a method (M) for restoring lost sand due to coastal erosion or riverside erosion according to the present invention includes the steps of: (S100) selecting a restoration position of the coast or the riverside due to erosion; (S200) forming a fixed type structure (S) by arranging the fixed type cover structure units (U); and (S300) restoring lost sand using the Venturi effect by the fixed type structure (S).

The restoration position selecting step (S100) can be carried out in such a way as to grasp a position which requires restoration using well-known means and indicate the position and a range using a buoy.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, the structure forming step (S200) is a step to form the fixed type structure (S) using the fixed type cover structure units (U).

As shown in FIG. 7, the lost sand restoring step (S300) is a step to positively erode sand on the floor and discharge and accumulate the eroded sand to the outside of the outlet part 20 using the Venturi effect of the running water.

In this instance, as shown in FIG. 8, the fixed type cover structure units (U) are generally arranged to be parallel with the direction of the coastal line or the riverbank line, and the outlet part 20 heads the land direction.

In detail, the structure forming step (S200) includes the steps of: (S210) manufacturing the fixed type cover structure units (U); (S220) adjusting the seabed at the position where the fixed type structure (S) will be installed; and (S230) continuously arranging the fixed type cover structure units (U) to be Parallel in the length direction.

The structure unit manufacturing step (S210) is carried out on the land close to the seashore, and it is preferable that the structure unit manufacturing step (S210) be carried out at a place where a sufficient working space is secured. The reason is to simplify the process by carrying the structure units using a crane.

In addition, the seabed adjusting step (S220) must be essentially accompanied to precisely arrange the fixed type cover structure units (U), and may include the step of flatten the floor surface to reduce a stair difference between the cover structure units (U).

However, the structure unit manufacturing step (S210) and the seabed adjusting step (S220) can be flexibly regulated in the order according to working environments or conditions because the order of the steps (S210) and (S220) is not clear.

In the meantime, the structure unit adjusting step (S230) is the core step in the process of forming the fixed type structure (S). The fixed type cover structure units (U) are generally arranged using the crane, but needs precision in the steps because they must be consecutively arranged to be parallel with the neighboring cover structure units (U) in the length direction.

In this instance, it is preferable that the fixed type structure units (U) be generally arranged to be Parallel with the coastal line or the riverbank line.

Therefore, as described above, when the induction wires (W) penetrate the wire holes 80 of the fixed type cover structure units (U) to naturally move the fixed type cover structure units (U) along the induction wires (W), the fixed type cover structure units (U) can be precisely arranged to be parallel with the neighboring fixed type cover structure units (U) in the length direction.

Meanwhile, the lost sand restoring step (S300) includes the steps of: (S310) making the running water flow into the inlet part 10 of the fixed type cover structure unit (U); (S320) eroding sand of the erosion part 30 by the running water; (S330) discharging the eroded sand and the running water to the outlet part 20; and (S340) accumulating the eroded sand.

As shown in FIG. 7, the lost sand restoring step (S300) is a step of positively using the Venturi effect.

In detail, the running water inflow step (S310), the sand eroding step (S320), the running water discharging step (S330) and the sand accumulating step (S340) of the lost sand restoring step (S300) are not carried out in consecutive order but carried out simultaneously. However, if the process is subdivided according to the flow of the running water, the above-mentioned steps are carried out in consecutive order.

Meanwhile, FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram showing states before and after the method for restoring lost sand using the fixed type structure unit according to the present invention is carried out, and FIG. 9 is a sectional view showing changes of the method for restoring lost sand as time passes and shows consecutive changes of sand restored from a to d as time goes.

That is, sand is consecutively restored in the land direction from a place adjacent to the fixed type structure (S).

As described above, while the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that the protective scope of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments and that various changes and modifications may be made therein without departing from the technical idea and scope of the present invention and such changes and modifications belong to the claims of the present invention.
