Abstract
A flap cover adapted for a bag is provided and includes a first layer structure, a second layer structure and a third layer structure. The second layer structure is attached on the first layer structure. The third layer structure is attached on the second layer structure. An accommodating space is defined by the third layer structure and the second layer structure, and an opening is communicated with the accommodating space for providing access to the accommodating space. Furthermore, a bag assembly having the aforementioned flap cover is also provided.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a bag accessory and a bag assembly therewith, and more specifically, to a flap cover and a bag assembly therewith.


2. Description of the Prior Art

There are various bags available in the market to facilitate customers to carry objects, such as documents, artwork, tools or other materials. However, the conventional bags fail to provide adequate protection or organization for sorting or storing the carried objects. Therefore, an improvement is urgently needed.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is an objective of the present invention to provide a flap cover and a bag assembly therewith for solving the aforementioned problems.


In order to achieve the aforementioned objective, the present invention discloses a flap cover adapted for a bag. The flap cover includes a first layer structure, a second layer structure and a third layer structure. The second layer structure is attached on the first layer structure. The third layer structure is attached on the second layer structure. An accommodating space is defined by the third layer structure and the second layer structure, and an opening is communicated with the accommodating space for providing access to the accommodating space.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the first layer structure is made of leather material. The second layer structure is made of cloth material, and the third layer structure is made of plastic material.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the flap cover further includes an engaging assembly for closing the opening.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the engaging assembly is a zipper assembly, a sealing strip assembly, or a velcro tape assembly.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the third layer structure is attached on a first side of the second layer structure by a plurality of first stitches.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the first layer structure is attached on a second side of the second layer structure by a plurality of second stitches and covers the plurality of first stitches protruding out of the second side of the second layer structure.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, a first slot is formed on the first layer structure. A second slot is formed on the second layer structure and aligned with the first slot, and the first slot and the second slot are configured to allow a handle of the bag to pass therethrough to be exposed out of the flap cover.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, a first hole is formed on the first layer structure. A second hole is formed on the second layer structure and aligned with the first hole, and the first hole and the second hole are configured to allow a button of the bag to pass therethrough to engage with a locking component arranged on the first layer structure.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the flap cover further includes an adhesive component disposed on the second layer structure, and the flap cover is detachably attached on the bag by the adhesive component.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the flap cover further includes a magnetic component disposed between the first layer structure and the second layer structure, and the flap cover is detachably attached on the bag by the magnetic component.


In order to achieve the aforementioned objective, the present invention further discloses a bag assembly. The bag assembly includes a bag and a flap cover. The flap cover is detachably attached on the bag. The flap cover includes a first layer structure, a second layer structure and a third layer structure. The second layer structure is attached on the first layer structure. The third layer structure is attached on the second layer structure. An accommodating space is defined by the third layer structure and the second layer structure, and an opening is communicated with the accommodating space for providing access to the accommodating space.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the first layer structure is made of leather material, the second layer structure is made of cloth material, and the third layer structure is made of plastic material.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the flap cover further includes an engaging assembly for closing the opening.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the engaging assembly is a zipper assembly, a sealing strip assembly, or a velcro tape assembly.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the third layer structure is attached on a first side of the second layer structure by a plurality of first stitches.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the first layer structure is attached on a second side of the second layer structure by a plurality of second stitches and covers the plurality of first stitches protruding out of the second side of the second layer structure.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, a first slot is formed on the first layer structure. A second slot is formed on the second layer structure and aligned with the first slot, and the first slot and the second slot are configured to allow a handle of the bag to pass therethrough to be exposed out of the flap cover.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, a first hole is formed on the first layer structure. A second hole is formed on the second layer structure and aligned with the first hole, and the first hole and the second hole are configured to allow a button of the bag to pass therethrough to engage with a locking component arranged on the first layer structure.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the flap cover further includes an adhesive component disposed on the second layer structure, and the flap cover is detachably attached on the bag by the adhesive component.


According to an embodiment of the present invention, the flap cover further includes a magnetic component disposed between the first layer structure and the second layer structure, and the flap cover is detachably attached on the bag by the magnetic component.


In summary, in the present invention, the flap cover provides additional protection or organization for sorting or storing carried objects, such that the carried objects can not only be safe from damage and transportable easily but also be easily accessible. Besides, the flap cover can be used independently in a folded state or an unfolded state when the flap cover is detached from the bag. Therefore, the present invention has improved convenience of use.


These and other objectives of the present invention will no doubt become obvious to those of ordinary skill in the art after reading the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment that is illustrated in the various figures and drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 6. FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 are schematic diagrams of a bag assembly 1 at different views according to a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 are diagrams of a flap cover 12 in an unfolded state at different views according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a diagram of the flap cover 12 in a folded state according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a partial sectional diagram of the flap cover 12 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 6, the bag assembly 1 includes a bag 11 and the flap cover 12. The flap cover 12 is detachably attached on the bag 11 to provide additional protection or organization for sorting or storing carried objects.


In this embodiment, the bag 11 can be a hand bag. However, the present invention is not limited thereto. In another embodiment, the bag can be a shoulder bag, a backpack or any other bag.


Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 6, the flap cover 12 includes a first layer structure 121, a second layer structure 122 and a third layer structure 123. The second layer structure 122 is attached on the first layer structure 121. The third layer structure 123 is attached on the second layer structure 122. An accommodating space S is defined by the third layer structure 123 and the second layer structure 122 for storing the carried object, and an opening O is communicated with the accommodating space S for providing access to the accommodating space S. When the flap cover 12 is detached from the bag 11, the flap cover 12 can be independently used in the unfolded state as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 or in the folded state as shown in FIG. 5 according to practical demands. The folded flap cover 12 has a reduced size, which facilitates to store and/or transport.


To prevent an accident falling of the carried object, the flap cover 12 further includes an engaging assembly 120 connected to and located between the third layer structure 123 and the second layer structure 122 for closing the opening O. In this embodiment, the engaging assembly 120 can be a zipper assembly having a zipper slider and a zipper strip. However, the present invention is not limited to this embodiment. For example, in another embodiment, the engaging assembly can be a sealing strip assembly, or a velcro tape assembly. Alternatively, in anther embodiment, the engaging assembly can be omitted.


As shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 6, the third layer structure 123 and the first layer structure 121 are attached on a first side 1221 of the second layer structure 122 and a second side 1222 of the second layer structure 122 opposite to the first side of the second layer structure 122, respectively.


Specifically, the third layer structure 123 is attached on the first side 1221 of the second layer structure 122 by a plurality of first stitches L1. The first layer structure 121 is attached on the second side 1222 of the second layer structure 122 by a plurality of second stitches L2 and covers the plurality of first stitches L1 protruding out of the second side 1222 of the second layer structure 122.


Preferably, in this embodiment, the first layer structure 121 can be made of leather material. The second layer structure 122 can be made of cloth material. The third layer structure 123 can be made of plastic material. However, the present invention is not limited to this embodiment.


Besides, as shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 4, the flap cover 12 further includes at least one adhesive component 124, e.g., at least one male velcro component, disposed on the second layer structure, and the flap cover 12 is detachably attached on the bag 11 by cooperation of the at least one adhesive component 124 of the flap cover 12 and at least one cooperating adhesive component 111, e.g., at least one female velcro component, arranged on the bag 11.


However, the present invention is not limited to this embodiment. For example, please refer to FIG. 7. FIG. 7 is a partial sectional diagram of a flap cover 12′ according to a second embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 7, the flap cover 12′ of the second embodiment includes at least one magnetic component 124′ disposed between a first layer structure 121′ and a second layer structure 122′, and the flap cover 12′ is detachably attached on a bag by cooperation of the at least one magnetic component 124′ of the flap cover 12′ and at least one cooperating magnetic component 111 arranged on the bag.


Please further refer to FIG. 8 to FIG. 10. FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram of a bag assembly 1″ according to a third embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 are diagrams of a flap cover 12″ in the unfolded state at different views according to the third embodiment of the present invention. Different from the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 8 to FIG. 10, the flap cover 12″ of the third embodiment can have a size different from a size of the flap cover 12 of the first embodiment. Besides, a bag 11″ of the bag assembly 1″ of the third embodiment can be a backpack, and a handle 112″ of the bag 11″ is configured to pass through the flap cover 12″ and a button 113″ of the bag 11″ is configured to engage with a locking component 125″ arranged on the flap cover 12″.


Specifically, a first slot S1″ is formed on a first layer structure 121″. A second slot S2″ is formed on a second layer structure 122″ and aligned with the first slot S1″. The first slot S1″ and the second slot S2″ are configured to allow the handle 112″ of the bag 11″ to pass therethrough to be exposed out of the flap cover 12″. Besides, a first hole H1″ is formed on the first layer structure 121″ and located at a side of the first slot S1″ away from an adhesive component 124′. A second hole H2″ is formed on the second layer structure 122″ and aligned with the first hole H1″. The first hole H1″ and the second hole H2″ are configured to allow the button 113″ of the bag 11″ to pass therethrough to engage with the locking component 125″ arranged on the first layer structure 121″.


Other details of this embodiment are identical to the ones of the first embodiment and have similar variations. Detailed description for the identical structures is omitted for simplicity.


In contrast to the prior art, in the present invention, the flap cover provides additional protection or organization for sorting or storing carried objects, such that the carried objects can not only be safe from damage and transportable easily but also be easily accessible. Besides, the flap cover can be used independently in the folded state or the unfolded state when the flap cover is detached from the bag. Therefore, the present invention has improved convenience of use.


Those skilled in the art will readily observe that numerous modifications and alterations of the device and method may be made while retaining the teachings of the invention. Accordingly, the above disclosure should be construed as limited only by the metes and bounds of the appended claims.

Claims
  • 1. A flap cover adapted for a bag, the flap cover comprising: a first layer structure;a second layer structure attached on the first layer structure; anda third layer structure attached on the second layer structure, an accommodating space being defined by the third layer structure and the second layer structure, and an opening being communicated with the accommodating space for providing access to the accommodating space.
  • 2. The flap cover of claim 1, wherein the first layer structure is made of leather material, the second layer structure is made of cloth material, and the third layer structure is made of plastic material.
  • 3. The flap cover of claim 1, wherein further comprising an engaging assembly for closing the opening.
  • 4. The flap cover of claim 3, wherein the engaging assembly is a zipper assembly, a sealing strip assembly, or a velcro tape assembly.
  • 5. The flap cover of claim 1, wherein the third layer structure is attached on a first side of the second layer structure by a plurality of first stitches.
  • 6. The flap cover of claim 5, wherein the first layer structure is attached on a second side of the second layer structure by a plurality of second stitches and covers the plurality of first stitches protruding out of the second side of the second layer structure.
  • 7. The flap cover of claim 1, wherein a first slot is formed on the first layer structure, a second slot is formed on the second layer structure and aligned with the first slot, and the first slot and the second slot are configured to allow a handle of the bag to pass therethrough to be exposed out of the flap cover.
  • 8. The flap cover of claim 1, wherein a first hole is formed on the first layer structure, a second hole is formed on the second layer structure and aligned with the first hole, and the first hole and the second hole are configured to allow a button of the bag to pass therethrough to engage with a locking component arranged on the first layer structure.
  • 9. The flap cover of claim 1, further comprising an adhesive component disposed on the second layer structure, and the flap cover being detachably attached on the bag by the adhesive component.
  • 10. The flap cover of claim 1, further comprising a magnetic component disposed between the first layer structure and the second layer structure, and the flap cover being detachably attached on the bag by the magnetic component.
  • 11. A bag assembly comprising: a bag; anda flap cover detachably attached on the bag, the flap cover comprising: a first layer structure;a second layer structure attached on the first layer structure; anda third layer structure attached on the second layer structure, an accommodating space being defined by the third layer structure and the second layer structure, and an opening being communicated with the accommodating space for providing access to the accommodating space.
  • 12. The bag assembly of claim 11, wherein the first layer structure is made of leather material, the second layer structure is made of cloth material, and the third layer structure is made of plastic material.
  • 13. The bag assembly of claim 11, wherein the flap cover further comprises an engaging assembly for closing the opening.
  • 14. The bag assembly of claim 13, wherein the engaging assembly is a zipper assembly, a sealing strip assembly, or a velcro tape assembly.
  • 15. The bag assembly of claim 11, wherein the third layer structure is attached on a first side of the second layer structure by a plurality of first stitches.
  • 16. The bag assembly of claim 15, wherein the first layer structure is attached on a second side of the second layer structure by a plurality of second stitches and covers the plurality of first stitches protruding out of the second side of the second layer structure.
  • 17. The bag assembly of claim 11, wherein a first slot is formed on the first layer structure, a second slot is formed on the second layer structure and aligned with the first slot, and the first slot and the second slot are configured to allow a handle of the bag to pass therethrough to be exposed out of the flap cover.
  • 18. The bag assembly of claim 11, wherein a first hole is formed on the first layer structure, a second hole is formed on the second layer structure and aligned with the first hole, and the first hole and the second hole are configured to allow a button of the bag to pass therethrough to engage with a locking component arranged on the first layer structure.
  • 19. The bag assembly of claim 11, wherein the flap cover further comprises an adhesive component disposed on the second layer structure, and the flap cover is detachably attached on the bag by the adhesive component.
  • 20. The bag assembly of claim 11, wherein the flap cover further comprises a magnetic component disposed between the first layer structure and the second layer structure, and the flap cover is detachably attached on the bag by the magnetic component.
