Abstract
A flask is provided with a refillable cup having an external jar (2) and an inner internal cup (3) to contain the product. The inner internal cup (3) is removable, through the mouth (20) of the external jar (2) in order to be able to refill or replace it. The flask has a removable fastener between the cup (3) and the jar (2) that stay hidden and include a resistance point (54) which ensures the fastening between both elements and prevents the elements from being separated while not proceeding to the express handling thereof by operating thereon in order to overcome the resistance point (54).
Description
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The invention, as stated in the title of the present specification, refers to a flask with a refillable cup which contributes advantages and features, which are described in detail below, to the function for which it is intended, which represent an improvement over the current state of the art.

The object of the present invention preferably lies in a flask for cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical products, usually solid, which, being made up of an external jar which includes an inner cup to contain the product, is distinguished by the fact that it has removable fastening means between the cup and the jar which enable the removal thereof for replacement or “refill” when the product has been used up, said means being designed to stay hidden and to prevent them from stopping the actuation causing the cup to be moved from the location thereof in an involuntary manner.

FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

The field of application of the present invention falls within the sector of the industry dedicated to the manufacture of packaging, particularly focusing on the field of flasks, and more specifically flasks for cosmetic or pharmaceutical products.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Normally, flasks for cosmetic or pharmaceutical products of the type disclosed herein usually comprise a cup on the inside wherein the product is incorporated. This cup is normally fastened in a non-removable (permanent) manner to the flask usually by means of pressure, which means that when the product is used up, it becomes necessary to acquire a new flask.

The problem is that flasks of this type, especially in the cosmetic field, the external jar is usually a decorative jar which, being able to be manufactured from different materials, such as glass, metal, wood, etc. is often made using materials and a design that are expensive to manufacture, notably increasing the cost of the product.

To solve this drawback, it would be desirable to have a refillable cup, in other words, one that can be non-permanently fastened such that it can be removed when the product has run out and be replaced with a new one, such that it is only necessary to acquire the cup with the product and it can still be enjoyed in the decorative external jar.

The aim of the present invention is therefore to develop a new type of flask with a refillable cup which, unlike others existing in the market, wherein the cup is only fastened to the flask with means acting using pressure located externally, it has means for fastening to the flask which are designed to stay hidden and to prevent it from actuating involuntarily.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The flask with a refillable cup proposed by the invention is configured as the ideal solution for the aforementioned objective, the characterising details that make it possible and distinguish it being conveniently contained in the final claims that accompany the present description.

Specifically, what the invention proposes, as noted above, is a flask for cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical products, usually solids or pastes, which, formed in a known manner by an external jar which includes an inner cup to contain the product. It is distinguished by the fact that said cup is removable in order to be able to refill or replace it by having removable fastening means between the cup and the jar which enable the removal thereof for replacement or “refill” when the product has been used up, said means being designed to stay hidden and to prevent them from stopping the actuation and causing the cup to leave the location thereof in an accidental or involuntary manner.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

To complete the description, and for the purpose of helping to make the characteristics of the invention more readily understandable, this description is accompanied by a set of drawings constituting an integral part of the same, which by way of illustration and not limitation represents the following:

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of the flask with a refillable cup object of the invention, represented in an exploded view, the configuration and parts of the main elements thereof being seen, in other words, the external jar and the refillable cup;

FIGS. 2 and 3 show corresponding views, a top plan view and a lateral elevation view of the flask of the invention, in this case represented with the cup incorporated in the external jar and fastened thereto;

FIG. 4 shows a cross-sectional view, according to cut A-A indicated in FIG. 2, of the flask of the invention, the configuration and parts of the main elements thereof and the coupling between them being seen; and

FIG. 5 shows a view of the detail B indicated in FIG. 4, the removable coupling and fastening means being seen in an enlarged manner between the external jar and the cup.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In light of the aforementioned figures, and in accordance with the adopted numbering, a non-limiting exemplary embodiment of the flask with a refillable cup of the invention can be observed, which comprises what is described below in detail.

Thus, as seen in said figures, the flask (1) of the invention is essentially made up of an external jar (2), with a closure cap (not shown), and an inner cup (3) to contain the product, the cup (3) of which is removable, through the mouth (20) of the external jar (2) in order to be able to refill or replace it, having removable fastening means (4, 5) to this end between the cup (3) and the jar (2) which stay hidden and include a resistance point (54) which ensures the fastening between both elements and prevents them from being separated while it is not expressly handled by operating thereon in order to overcome said resistance point (54).

Specifically, said removable fastening means (4, 5), as seen in FIGS. 1 and 4, comprise:

    • on the one hand, the existence of a rim with a skirt (40), intended on the perimeter in the mouth of the cup (3), which defines a lower channel (41) having two or more internal protuberances (42), preferably four, determined by a thickening of the internal face of the skirt (40) itself and which are distributed radially in said channel (41); and
    • on the other hand, the existence of two or more partitions (50) which emerge from the top of the upper edge (51) of the mouth (20) of the jar (2), which, separated by intermediate spaces (52) and sized to fit into the lower channel (41) of the cup (3) and each of them is located in a position coinciding with one of the inner protuberances (42), having a lateral housing (53) intended to receive said protuberance (42), a thickening (54) existing in said housings (53) which creates a resistance point for such insertion of the protuberance (42), and for the removal thereof, which ensures the fastening of the cup (3) in the jar (2).

To do so, by placing the cup (3) on the mouth (20) of the jar (2), placing the lower channel (41) of the rim with a skirt (40) on the partitions (50) of the upper edge (51) such that the protuberances (42) coincide with the intermediate spaces (52), in addition to making a rotational movement to direct the protuberances (42) towards the lateral housings (53) of the partitions (50), a certain pressure must be applied in order to overcome the resistance point caused by the thickening (54) existing in said housings (53) in order to finish inserting said protuberances (42) in said housings (53), the cup (3) therefore staying secured inside the jar (2). In the same manner, for the removal thereof, it is necessary to exert pressure once again, in the opposite direction, in order to overcome the resistance point caused by the thickening (54) when rotating the rim with a skirt (41) and releasing the protuberances (42) from the housings (53), only then enabling the cup (3) to be removed from inside the jar (2).

Preferably, and in order to facilitate the rotation and pressure operations described, the external face of the skirt (41) of the rim of the cup (3) has rough areas (43) with greater adherence when holding it with hands, preferably, two of them located on opposite sides thereof.

Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, in addition to the practical embodiment, it is not considered necessary to extend the explanation thereof so that any person with skill in the art can understand the scope thereof and the advantages that derive from it.
