Claims
- 1. A process for augmenting or enhancing the aroma or taste of a foodstuff or chewing gum comprising the step of adding to said foodstuff or chewing gum from 0.0001 parts per million up to about 50 parts per million by weight based on total composition of a macrocyclic carbonate having the structure: ##STR57##
- 2. The process of claim 1 wherein the macrocyclic carbonate is added to a foodstuff.
- 3. The process of claim 1 wherein the macrocyclic carbonate is added to a chewing gum.
