- 1. A process for augmenting or enhancing the aroma or taste of a foodstuff comprising the step of adding to said foodstuff from 0.1 parts per million up to about 20 parts per million based on the total weight of said foodstuff of heliotropyl methyl carbonate having the structure: ##STR97##
