A flexible magnetic pad is provided with constantly alternating polarity zones which therapeutically affects blood vessels to increase blood flow, irrespective of the orientation of the blood vessels with respect to the pad. In the preferred embodiment, the polarity zones are tightly wound in alternating poles arranged in a spiral configuration throughout the pad.
