Claims
- 1. Flexible tightening device, especially for medical purposes, with an arm (3) comprising several jointed elements (2) moveable against one another, in which the arm (3) in may be locked in the chosen pivoted position of the jointed elements (2) by means of a tightening element, characterized by the fact, that each jointed element (2) demonstrates on one end the ball joint (6) and at the opposite end a socket joint (7) to receive a ball joint (6), and that each jointed element (2) is constructed in two parts in the length direction, whereby the individual length pieces (2a, 2b) can be adjusted against one another for locking purposes.
- 2. Tightening device in claim 1, characterized by the fact that the length pieces (2a, 2b) of the in the two-part constructed jointed elements (2) in the side view are z-shaped in construction so that with one of the length pieces (2a) the upper part of the ball joint (6) with the inner part of the socket joint (7) and with the other length piece (2b) of the same jointed element (2) the lower part of the ball joint (6) is connected to the upper part of the socket joint (7).
- 3. Tightening device in claims 1 or 2, characterized by the fact that the length pieces (2a, 2b) of each jointed elements (2) are pivotable against each other through a joint axis (8).
- 4. Tightening device in claim 3, characterized by the fact that the axle (8) to the pivoting of the length pieces (2a, 2b) of a jointed element (2) is disposed in the middle of the jointed element (2) and at the level of the length cut through ball joint (6) and socket joint (7) is so constructed that the ball joint (6) and the socket joint (7) can be opened to an angle of aperture (α) between the length pieces (2a, 2b).
- 5. Tightening device in claim 4, characterized by the fact that the angle of aperture (α) from the proximal jointed element (2) to the distal jointed element (2) from jointed element (2) to jointed element (2) is represented by
- 6. Tightening device in at least one of claims 2 to 5, characterized by the fact that at right angles to the length section of the ball joint (6) through the sphere equator of the ball joint (6) of each jointed element (2) is constructed a through bore (10), into which for each length piece (2a, 2b) of the ball joint (6) a pin (11) projecting from the exterior over the upper surface of the ball joint (6) is arranged, which is used to guide and to limit the angle of pivot of the individual jointed elements (2) against one another in the state when connected with another jointed element (2) in a groove (12) constructed in the socket joint (7).
- 7. Tightening device in at least one of claims 1 to 6, characterized by the fact that on the constructed jointed element (2) at the proximal end of the arm (3) a handle (4) acting as a tightening element (4) can be locked for the adjustment and locking of the jointed elements (2).
- 8. Tightening device in at least one of claims 1 to 7, characterized by the fact that a tool (5) can be affixed to the jointed element (2) at the distal end of the arm (3).
