Claims
- 1. A method for wrapping a floral grouping comprising:
providing a sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material has a closure bonding material disposed on at least one of the upper and the lower surfaces thereof, and wherein the sheet of material has a handle integral to the sheet of material, the handle comprising a portion of the sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the sheet of material; providing a floral grouping having a stem end and a bloom end; disposing the floral grouping on the upper surface of the sheet of material; wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping and disposing the closure bonding material adjacent a portion of the sheet of material whereby the closure bonding material bondingly engages with and connects to a adjacent portion of the sheet of material for cooperating to secure the sheet of material wrapped about the floral grouping to provide a wrapper for the floral grouping, the wrapper having an open upper end and an open lower end and with the handle being disposed near the open upper end of the wrapper, and wherein the handle can be grasped for carrying the wrapper with the floral grouping disposed therein.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the step of providing the sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material constructed of a material selected from a group of materials consisting of a polymer film, metal foil, fiber (woven or unwoven or natural or synthetic), burlap, paper (untreated or treated in any manner) or combinations thereof.
- 3. The method of claim 1 wherein the step of providing the sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material having a thickness in a range from about 0.1 mils to about 30 mils.
- 4. The method of claim 1 wherein the step of providing a sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material having a thickness in a range from about 0.1 mils to about 5 mils.
- 5. The method of claim 1 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material the closure bonding material is defined further as being disposed at least near the first side and extending generally between the first end and the second end of the sheet of material.
- 6. The method of claim 1 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper is defined further as wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper and wrapping the sheet of material tightly about the stem end of the floral grouping.
- 7. The method of claim 1 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper is defined further as wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper and tightly wrapping the sheet of material about the stem end with a portion of the stem end of the floral grouping extending through the open lower end of the wrapper.
- 8. The method of claim 1 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material further comprises wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper with the wrapper being generally conically shaped.
- 9. The method of claim 1 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material further comprises wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper and the wrapper being generally cylindrically shaped.
- 10. The method of claim 1 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the first width of the sheet is greater than the second width of the sheet.
- 11. The method of claim 1 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the first width of the sheet if substantially equal to the second width of the sheet.
- 12. The method of claim 1 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material the handle of the sheet of material further comprises a reinforcing member for providing additional strength to the handle.
- 13. The method of claim 1 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material has a decoration disposed thereupon.
- 14. The method of claim 1 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material comprises a portion of a roll of material wherein the sheet of material can be detachable or severingly removed from the roll of material.
- 15. The method of claim 1 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material.
- 16. The method of claim 15 wherein in the step of providing a second sheet of material, the first width of the second sheet of material is less than the first width of the first sheet of material and the second width of the second sheet of material is less than the second width of the first sheet of material.
- 17. The method of claim 1 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material has a handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material.
- 18. The method of claim 17 wherein the step of providing a second sheet of material, the first width of the second sheet of material is less than the first width of the first sheet of material and the second width of the second sheet of material is less than the second width of the first sheet of material.
- 19. The method of claim 17 wherein in the step of providing the second sheet of material the handle of the second sheet of material further comprises a reinforcing member for providing additional strength to the handle.
- 20. The method of claim 1 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material comprises a second handle disposed in a position adjacent the first handle.
- 21. The method of claim 20 wherein in the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping the second handle is aligned with the first handle in such a manner that the first handle and the second handle are substantially superimposed upon one another.
- 22. The method of claim 20 wherein in the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping the second handle is aligned opposite to the first handle in such a manner that the first handle and the second handle are substantially opposite one another.
- 23. The method of claim 20 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the first handle and the second handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material when the second sheet of material is disposed upon the first sheet of material.
- 24. The method of claim 20 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material has a first handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material and wherein the second sheet of material has a second handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material and positioned adjacent the first handle of the second sheet of material.
- 25. A method for wrapping a floral grouping comprising:
providing a sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material has a closure bonding material disposed on at least one of the upper and the lower surfaces thereof, and wherein the sheet of material has a handle integral to the sheet of material, the handle comprising a portion of the sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the sheet of material, and wherein the first width of the sheet is greater than the second width of the sheet; providing a floral grouping having a stem end and a bloom end; disposing the floral grouping on the upper surface of the sheet of material; wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping and disposing the closure bonding material adjacent a portion of the sheet of material whereby the closure bonding material bondingly engages with and connects to an adjacent portion of the sheet of material for cooperating to secure the sheet of material wrapped about the floral grouping to provide a wrapper for the floral grouping, the wrapper having an open upper end and an open lower end and with the handle being disposed near the open upper end of the wrapper, and wherein the handle can be grasped for carrying the wrapper with the floral grouping disposed therein.
- 26. The method of claim 25 where in the step of providing the sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material constructed of a material selected from a group of materials consisting of a polymer film, metal foil, fiber (woven or unwoven or natural or synthetic), burlap, paper (untreated or treated in any manner) or combinations thereof.
- 27. The method of claim 25 wherein the step of providing the sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material having a thickness in a range from about 0.1 mils to about 30 mils.
- 28. The method of claim 25 wherein the step of providing a sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material having a thickness in a range from about 0.1 mils to about 5 mils.
- 29. The method of claim 25 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material the closure bonding material is defined further as being disposed at least near the first side and extending generally between the first end and the second end of the sheet of material.
- 30. The method of claim 25 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper is defined further as wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper and wrapping the sheet of material tightly about the stem end of the floral grouping.
- 31. The method of claim 25 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper is defined further as wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper and tightly wrapping the sheet of material about the stem end with a portion of the stem end of the floral grouping extending through the open lower end of the wrapper.
- 32. The method of claim 25 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material further comprises wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper with the wrapper being generally conically shaped.
- 33. The method of claim 25 wherein the step of providing the sheet of material the handle of the sheet of material further comprises a reinforcing member for providing additional strength to the handle.
- 34. The method of claim 25 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material has a decoration disposed thereupon.
- 35. The method of claim 25 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material comprises a portion of a roll of material wherein the sheet of material can be detachable or severingly removed from the roll of material.
- 36. The method of claim 25 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material.
- 37. The method of claim 36 wherein in the step of providing a second sheet of material, the first width of the second sheet of material is less than the first width of the first sheet of material and the second width of the second sheet of material is less than the second width of the first sheet of material.
- 38. The method of claim 25 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material has a handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material.
- 39. The method of claim 38 wherein in the step of providing a second sheet of material, the first width of the second sheet of material is less than the first width of the first sheet of material and the second width of the second sheet of material is less than the second width of the first sheet of material.
- 40. The method of claim 38 wherein in the step of providing the second sheet of material the handle of the second sheet of material further comprises a reinforcing member for providing additional strength to the handle.
- 41. The method of claim 25 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material comprises a second handle disposed in a position adjacent the first handle.
- 42. The method of claim 41 wherein in the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping the second handle is aligned with the first handle in such a manner that the first handle and the second handle are substantially superimposed upon one another.
- 43. The method of claim 41 wherein in the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping the second handle is aligned opposite to the first handle in such a manner that the first handle and the second handle are substantially opposite one another.
- 44. The method of claim 41 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the first handle and the second handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material when the second sheet of material is disposed upon the first sheet of material.
- 45. The method of claim 41 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material has a first handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material and wherein the second sheet of material has a second handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material and positioned adjacent the first handle of the second sheet of material.
- 46. A method for wrapping a floral grouping comprising:
providing a sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material has a closure bonding material disposed on at least one of the upper and the lower surfaces thereof, and wherein the sheet of material has a handle integral to the sheet of material, the handle comprising a portion of the sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the sheet of material, and wherein the first width of the sheet is substantially equal to the second width of the sheet; providing a floral grouping having a stem end and a bloom end; disposing the floral grouping on the upper surface of the sheet of material; wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping and disposing the closure bonding material adjacent a portion of the sheet of material whereby the closure bonding material bondingly engages with and connects to an adjacent portion of the sheet of material for cooperating to secure the sheet of material wrapped about the floral grouping to provide a wrapper for the floral grouping, the wrapper having an open upper end and an open lower end and with the handle being disposed near the open upper end of the wrapper, and wherein the handle can be grasped for carrying the wrapper with the floral grouping disposed therein.
- 47. The method of claim 46 wherein the step of providing the sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material constructed of a material selected from a group of materials consisting of a polymer film, metal foil, fiber (woven or unwoven or natural or synthetic), burlap, paper (untreated or treated in any manner) or combinations thereof.
- 48. The method of claim 46 wherein the step of providing the sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material having a thickness in a range from about 0.1 mils to about 30 mils.
- 49. The method of claim 46 wherein the step of providing a sheet of material is defined further as providing the sheet of material having a thickness in a range from about 0.1 mils to about 5 mils.
- 50. The method of claim 46 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material the closure bonding material is defined further as being disposed at least near the first side and extending generally between the first end and the second end of the sheet of material.
- 51. The method of claim 46 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper is defined further as wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper and wrapping the sheet of material tightly about the stem end of the floral grouping.
- 52. The method of claim 46 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper is defined further as wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper and tightly wrapping the sheet of material about the stem end with a portion of the stem end of the floral grouping extending through the open lower end of the wrapper.
- 53. The method of claim 46 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material further comprises wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper with the wrapper being generally conically shaped.
- 54. The method of claim 46 wherein the step of wrapping the sheet of material further comprises wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping to form the wrapper with the wrapper being generally cylindrically shaped.
- 55. The method of claim 46 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material the handle of the sheet of material further comprises a reinforcing member for providing additional strength to the handle.
- 56. The method of claim 46 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material has a decoration disposed thereupon.
- 57. The method of claim 46 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material comprises a portion of a roll of material wherein the sheet of material can be detachable or severingly removed from the roll of material.
- 58. The method of claim 46 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material.
- 59. The method of claim 58 wherein in the step of providing a second sheet of material, the first width of the second sheet of material is less than the first width of the first sheet of material and the second width of the second sheet of material is less than the second width of the first sheet of material.
- 60. The method of claim 46 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material has a handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material.
- 61. The method of claim 60 wherein in the step of providing a second sheet of material, the first width of the second sheet of material is less than the first width of the first sheet of material and the second width of the second sheet of material is less than the second width of the first sheet of material.
- 62. The method of claim 60 wherein in the step of providing the second sheet of material the handle of the second sheet of material further comprises a reinforcing member for providing additional strength to the handle.
- 63. The method of claim 46 wherein in the step of providing the sheet of material, the sheet of material comprises a second handle disposed in a position adjacent the first handle.
- 64. The method of claim 63 wherein in the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping the second handle is aligned with the first handle in such a manner that the first handle and the second handle are substantially superimposed upon one another.
- 65. The method of claim 63 wherein in the step of wrapping the sheet of material about the floral grouping the second handle is aligned opposite to the first handle in such a manner that the first handle and the second handle are substantially opposite one another.
- 66. The method of claim 63 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the first handle and the second handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material when the second sheet of material is disposed upon the first sheet of material.
- 67. The method of claim 63 comprising the additional step of providing a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material has a first handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material and wherein the second sheet of material has a second handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material and positioned adjacent the first handle of the second sheet of material.
- 68. A wrapper for wrapping a floral grouping comprising:
a sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material has a closure bonding material disposed on at least one of the upper and the lower surfaces thereof, and wherein the sheet of material has a handle integral to the sheet of material, the handle comprising a portion of the sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the sheet of material.
- 69. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the sheet of material is defined further as constructed of a material selected from a group of materials consisting of a polymer film, metal foil, fiber (woven or unwoven or natural or synthetic), burlap, paper (untreated or treated in any manner) or combinations thereof.
- 70. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the sheet of material is defined further as having a thickness in a range from about 0.1 mils to about 30 mils.
- 71. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the sheet of material is defined further as having a thickness in a range from about 0.1 mils to about 5 mils.
- 72. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the closure bonding material is defined further as being disposed at least near the first side and extending generally between the first end and the second end of the sheet of material.
- 73. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the first width of the sheet is greater than the second width of the sheet.
- 74. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the first width of the sheet is substantially equal to the second width of the sheet.
- 75. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the handle of the sheet of material further comprises a reinforcing member for providing additional strength to the handle.
- 76. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the sheet of material has a decoration disposed thereupon.
- 77. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the sheet of material comprises a portion of a roll of material wherein the sheet of material can be detachably or severingly removed from the roll of material.
- 78. The wrapper of claim 68 wherein the wrapper further comprises a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material.
- 79. The wrapper of claim 78 wherein the first width of the second sheet of material is less than the first width of the first sheet of material and the second width of the second sheet of material is less than the second width of the first sheet of material.
- 80. The wrapper of claim 68 wherein the wrapper further comprises a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material has a handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material.
- 81. The wrapper of claim 80 wherein the first width of the second sheet of material is less than the first width of the first sheet of material and the second width of the second sheet of material is less than the second width of the first sheet of material.
- 82. The wrapper of claim 80 wherein the handle of the second sheet of material further comprises a reinforcing member for providing additional strength to the handle.
- 83. The sheet of material of claim 68 wherein the sheet of material comprises a second handle disposed in a position adjacent the first handle.
- 84. The sheet of material of claim 83 wherein the second handle is alignable with the first handle in such a manner that the first handle and the second handle are substantially superimposable upon one another.
- 85. The sheet of material of claim 83 wherein the second handle is alignable opposite the first handle in such a manner that the first handle and the second handle are substantially opposable to one another.
- 86. The wrapper of claim 83 wherein the wrapper further comprises a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the first handle and the second handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material when the second sheet of material is disposed upon the first sheet of material.
- 87. The wrapper of claim 83 wherein the wrapper further comprises a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material has a first handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material and wherein the second sheet of material has a second handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material and positioned adjacent the first handle of the second sheet of material.
- 88. A wrapper for wrapping a floral grouping comprising:
a first sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the first sheet of material has a closure bonding material disposed on at least one of the upper and the lower surfaces thereof, and wherein the first sheet of material has a handle integral to the first sheet of material, the handle comprising a portion of the first sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the first sheet of material; and a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material.
- 89. The wrapper of claim 88 wherein the first width of the first sheet is greater than the second width of the first sheet.
- 90. The wrapper of claim 88 wherein the first width of the first sheet is substantially equal to the second width of the first sheet.
- 91. The wrapper of claim 88 wherein the second sheet of material has a handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material.
- 92. A wrapper for wrapping a floral grouping comprising:
a first sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end and extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the first sheet of material has a closure bonding material disposed on at least one of the upper and the lower surfaces thereof, and wherein the first sheet of material has a handle integral to the first sheet of material, the handle comprising a portion of the first sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the first sheet of material, and wherein the first width of the first sheet is greater than the second width of the first sheet; and a second sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side, a first width near the first end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and a second width near the second end extending generally from the first side to the second side, and wherein the second sheet of material is disposable upon a portion of the upper surface of the first sheet of material in such a way that the handle of the first sheet of material is left uncovered by the second sheet of material.
- 93. The wrapper of claim 92 wherein the second sheet of material has a handle comprising a portion of the second sheet of material and extending from near the first end of the second sheet of material.
