Claims
- 1. A flow line bundle apparatus for installation between first and second points within a body of water, comprising:
- a tubular covering member;
- a plurality of conduits disposed within said tubular covering member, for conducting fluids between said first and second points;
- sealing means for sealing first and second ends of said tubular covering member to prevent water from entering said conduits and tubular covering, when said flow line bundle is submerged in said body of water;
- connecting means for connecting ends of each of said conduits to first and second fluid connectors of said first and second points, respectively; and
- flooding means for flooding a space between said conduits and said tubular covering member.
- 2. Apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of longitudinally spaced spacer members connected to said conduits to retain said conduits in a spaced relationship from said tubular covering member.
- 3. Apparatus of claim 1, wherein said sealing means further comprises;
- a manifold member including a plurality of ports, said ports including first ends connected to said conduits for fluid communication therewith; and
- cap means for sealingly engaging an end of said manifold member to prevent water from entering second ends of said ports.
- 4. Apparatus of claim 3, wherein said connecting means further comprises:
- means for removing said cap means; and
- means for connecting said second ends of said ports of said manifold member with one of said first and second fluid connectors.
- 5. Apparatus of claim 1, wherein said flooding means further comprises:
- first valve means, located near one of said first and second ends of said tubular covering member, for communicating said space between said conduits and tubular covering member with said body of water; and
- second valve means, longitudinally spaced from said first valve means, away from said one end of said flow line bundle, for communicating said space between said conduits and said tubular covering member with said body of water so that when said first and second valve means are opened, gases within said tubular covering may escape to allow water to fill said space between said conduits and said tubular covering member.
