Claims
- 1. A liquid delivery system comprising:
- a portable pressurizable container adapted to contain a portable liquid; said container adapted to be carried on a bicycle;
- a potable liquid transfer conduit sealingly connected to said pressurizable container;
- a bite valve sealingly connected to said potable liquid transfer conduit; and
- a flow regulating valve sealingly connected to said potable liquid transfer conduit, said flow regulating valve automatically maintaining a predetermined and relatively constant positive rate of potable liquid flow from said pressurized container.
- 2. A liquid delivery system comprising;
- a portable pressurizable container adapted to contain a potable liquid; said container adapted to be carried on a bicycle;
- a potable liquid transfer conduit sealingly connected to said pressurizable container;
- a shut-off valve sealingly connected to said potable liquid transfer conduit; and a flow regulating valve sealingly connected to said potable liquid transfer conduit, said flow regulating valve automatically maintaining a predetermined and relatively constant positive rate of potable liquid flow from said pressurized container:
- said flow regulating valve is embodied in a flow regulating manifold cap; and
- said flow regulating manifold cap is threadingly engaged to said pressurized container.
- 3. A liquid delivery system comprising:
- a pressurizable container said pressurizable container adapted to contain a potable liquid said container adapted to be carried by an individual during an athletic activity;
- a liquid transfer conduit sealingly connected to said pressurizable container, said liquid transfer conduit adapted to deliver said potable liquid to the mouth of said individual during said athletic activity;
- a shut-off valve sealingly connected to said pressurizable container; and
- a pressure compensating flow regulator sealingly connected to said pressurizable container.
- 4. A personal liquid delivery method comprising the steps of:
- pressurizing a container containing a liquid refreshment;
- opening a shut-off valve that is sealingly connected to said pressurized container;
- maintaining the flow of said liquid refreshment from said container at a relatively constant positive rate while said shut-off valve is open; and
- delivering said liquid refreshment directly to person's mouth while said person is transporting said pressurized container.
