An organic light-emitting device comprising a pair of electrodes including an anode and a cathode at least one of which is transparent or translucent, and at least one layer comprising an organic compound provided between the pair of electrodes, wherein at least one layer of the at least one layer comprising the organic compound comprises at least one of the fluorenylene compounds set forth in claim 1.
  • 7. The organic light-emitting device according to claim 6, wherein the layer comprising at least one of the fluorenylene compounds is a light-emitting layer.
