Claims
- 1. A method of producing an excited dye laser beam comprising a step of exposing a dye of the formula ##STR3## wherein R is hydrogen or linear or branched alkyl of 1 to 10 carbon atoms, n is an integer from 1 to 4 and X is an anion, to an exciter laser beam of a frequency and intensity sufficient to cause said dye to lase.
