Abstract
A foam pad includes a base made by foam material and a reinforcement layer is attached to a top of the base and can be made by fabric, and a cork layer attached to a top of the reinforcement layer. The cork layer provides better ventilation feature so as to absorb the user's sweat and provide a dry surface. The foam pad can be easily rolled up.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a foam pad with a cork layer located between the foam top and a base layer, the foam pad has better flexibility.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional foam pad such as yoga pad is generally made by EVA, PVC, TPE or POE so as to avoid the user directly from in contact with the floor. However, the multiple types of material mentioned above cannot absorb the users' sweat so that the surface of the foam pad become slippery and the users might fall. Besides, the sweat attached on the foam pad generates bad smell for a period of time.

Furthermore, the foam pad made by EVA, PVC, TPE or POE has poor flexibility so that it is not easy to roll up and when it is not easy to be unrolled to be a flat pad because of the poor flexibility.

The present invention intends to provide a foam pad which is flexible and better absorbing feature so as to keep the surface clean and dry.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a foam pad that comprises a base, a cork layer and a reinforcement layer which is sandwiched between the base and the cork layer.

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a foam pad which has satisfied flexibility and the cork layer has good ventilation feature and absorbs sweat so as to provide a dry surface.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is an exploded view to show the foam pad of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view, from the underside, to show the foam pad of the present invention, and

FIG. 3 shows that the foam pad is rolled up.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the foam pad of the present invention comprises a base 10 which is made by foam material such as rubber foam and includes honeycomb-shaped protrusions 101 formed on an underside thereof such that the base 10 can be well positioned on the floor and does not slip. A reinforcement layer 11 is attached to a top of the base 10 by resin and can be made by fabric. A cork layer 12 is attached to a top of the reinforcement layer 11 by resin.

The honeycomb-shaped protrusions 101 on the underside of the base 10 ensures that the foam pad does not slip or move on the floor and the reinforcement layer 11 is soft and flexible which securely connects the base 10 and the cork layer 12.

The cork layer 12 is made by natural material which has good ventilation and absorbs the user's sweat so that the top surface of the cork layer 12 keeps dry and clean.

The base 10, the reinforcement layer 111 and the cork layer 12 are flexible so that the foam pad can be easily rolled up and when the foam pad is expanded, the foam pad is quickly flat and ready for use. Besides, the reinforcement layer 11 is connected to the base 10 and the cork layer 12 by resin and prevents the cork layer 12 from being broken when being rolled up.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
