Description
INCORPORATION BY REFERENCE

This application claims the benefit of priority from China Patent Application No. 202420017379.6 filed on Jan. 4, 2024, the contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference in their entirety.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to the technical field of door mats, in particular to a foldable and storable water-absorbing door mat.

BACKGROUND ART

The door mat is mainly used to provide standing feet for the user after bathing or feet washing, while at the same time of standing feet, the door mat also absorbs water dripping from the feet and the body, and prevents the users from slipping due to slippery bathroom floor. There are many kinds of door mats including cotton, although the cotton door mat is convenient to store, convenient to clean, and highly absorbent, such a floor mat will become moldy and smelly due to long-time use, and although such a floor mat is long in service life, it does not absorb water or absorb water slowly.

By search, the patent No. CN209404341U comprises a waterproof layer, a pattern layer, a base layer, an anti-slip layer, and a diatomite plate, wherein the diatomite plate is arranged on an upper surface of an outer frame or in a groove of the upper surface. An embossed portion not only increases the beauty, but also massages the feet. The diatomite door mat absorbs water quickly, is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, which improves the comfort of use.

However, due to the fact that the bottom anti-slip layer of the door mat is made of PVC back adhesive material, when the toilet or the ground encounters water, the water is accumulated, and the PVC back adhesive material is not slip-proof after meeting water, which increases the slip risk. Besides, the PVC back adhesive material can shrink and cannot absorb water, that dirt and grime are trapped in the gaps and are very difficult to clean, which reduces the practicality of the diatomite door mat. Therefore, a foldable and storable water-absorbing door mat is proposed in the present invention.

Further, the contact layer comprises a plurality of diatom pieces, lava stone pieces and volcanic rock pieces, and a thickness of the contact layer is less than 9 mm.

Further, the composite layer is fixed on a surface of the water absorption layer, the water absorption layer is fixed on a surface of the waterproof layer, the waterproof layer is fixed on a surface of the base layer, and the base layer is fixed on an upper surface of the anti-slip layer.

Further, a width of each of the water absorption grooves is less than 8 mm.

Beneficial effects of the present invention are as follows:

During use, the present foldable and storable water-absorbing door mat, the door mat body, the water absorption grooves, the anti-cracking layer, the water absorption layer, the waterproof layer, the base layer and the anti-slip layer are arranged, the door mat adopts the water-absorbing PU leather and the water-absorbing cloth as the water-absorbing base material, the foaming anti-slip material is added to the bottom of the leather and water-absorbing cloth base to be combined with the base material to achieve an anti-slip effect when encountering water. Due to the water absorption characteristics of the water-absorbing leather and the water-absorbing cloth, the diatomite plates and the gaps between the plates can also strongly absorb water and facilitate the cleaning, which greatly improves the practicality of diatomite water-absorbing door mats, lava stone water-absorbing door mats, and volcanic rock water-absorbing door mats.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a foldable and storable water-absorbing door mat is involved, comprising a door mat body 1, wherein a plurality of water absorption grooves 2 are provided on a top end of the door mat body 1 at equal distances, the plurality of water absorption grooves 2 divide the door mat body 1 into a plurality of pieces, an anti-cracking layer 3 are fixedly connected to a side edge of the door mat body 1 and both sides of interior of each of the water absorption grooves 2, a contact layer 4 is fixedly connected with the top end of the door mat body 1, and the door mat body 1 comprises a composite layer 5, a water absorption layer 6, a waterproof layer 7, a base layer 8 and an anti-slip layer 9.

The water absorption layer 6, the waterproof layer 7, the base layer 8 and the anti-slip layer 9 are all connected with each other by foaming, extruding or bonding.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a width of each of the water absorption grooves 2 is less than 8 mm.

The gaps formed by the water absorption grooves 2 allow the door mat to be folded and stored. In the embodiment, the gap width of each of the water absorption grooves 2 is between 6 mm and 8 mm. The design of the water absorption grooves 2 causes multiple gaps to appear in the door mat body 1, thereby enhancing the water absorption capacity of the door mat, and the water absorption grooves 2 can increase the gaps between the door mat body 1, which facilitates the reinforcement of the anti-cracking layer 3.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the contact layer 4 comprises a plurality of diatom pieces, lava stone pieces and volcanic rock pieces, and a thickness of the contact layer 4 is less than 9 mm. The diatom pieces, lava stone pieces and volcanic rock pieces of the contact layer 4 are fixedly connected to the surface of the door mat body 1 through the composite layer 5 adhesive.

In the embodiment, the contact layer 4 has a thickness of 6 to 9 mm, and can absorb water from the user's feet through the diatom pieces, lava stone pieces and volcanic rock pieces.

As shown in FIG. 4, the composite layer 5 is fixed on a surface of the water absorption layer 6, and the composite layer 5 is made of tetrachloroethylene, water-white rosin, 120 resin or SBS792E;

The water absorption layer 6 is fixed on a surface of the waterproof layer 7, the water absorption layer 6 comprises water-absorbing leather and water-absorbing cloth, and the water-absorbing leather and the water-absorbing cloth material are high-quality modified water-absorbing leather and technology cloth water-absorbing cloth. The excess water in the water absorption grooves 2 of the door mat can be completely absorbed, which facilitates the cleaning;

By using the anti-cracking layer 3, water can be prevented from entering the water-absorbing leather and the water-absorbing cloth layers of the water absorption layer 6, which avoids soaking of the composite layer 5 and thereby causing degumming.

The waterproof layer 7 is fixed on a surface of the base layer 8, and the waterproof layer 7 is made of polyurethane paint;

The base layer 8 is fixed on an upper surface of the anti-slip layer 9. The base layer 8 is made of natural rubber material, and the anti-slip layer 9 is made of natural foamed anti-skid material. By using the base layer 8, the door mat body 1 can be supported and laid, and the user can fold and roll the door mat conveniently. By using the anti-slip layer 9, the door mat body 1 can be closely attached to the ground to protect the ground, and the friction and anti-skid ability of the bottom of the door mat body 1 can be enhanced, which thereby reduces the slipping phenomenon.

Working principle: when in use, the user stands on the contact layer 4 on the surface of the door mat body 1, the contact layer 4 can absorb most of the water, and part of the water enters the water absorption grooves 2 and is absorbed by the water absorption layer 6, which facilitates the cleaning. When the door mat is not in use, the door mat can be folded along the water absorption grooves 2, which is convenient to store.

The preferred embodiments of the present invention disclosed above are only used to help illustrate the present invention. The preferred embodiments do not describe all the details in detail, nor do they limit the present invention to only specific implementation methods. Obviously, many modifications and variations can be made according to the content of this specification. The embodiments are selected and described in detail in the specification to better explain the principle and practical applications of the present invention, so that those skilled in the art can better understand and use the present invention.
