This application claims the benefit of priority from Chinese Patent Application No. 202321827600.6, filed on Jul. 12, 2023. The content of the aforementioned application, including any intervening amendments thereto, is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
This application relates to card holders, and more particularly to a foldable charging card holder.
Hand-held wallets have been widely used in people's daily life. They can store cash and various cards, and have smaller size and better portability compared with backpacks or handbags.
However, the existing hand-held wallets merely have the functions of holding cards and cash. As mobile devices (such as smartphones) become widespread, it is generally required to carry an additional mobile power for charging the mobile phone, and at the same time, they also need to carry wallets, which is inconvenient.
To solve the above problem, a card holder with charging function has been designed, which can also charge mobile phones in addition to storing identity cards and bank cards. For example, Chinese Patent Application No. 201510972910.0 discloses a multifunctional wallet. Unfortunately, for such existing multifunctional wallets, the power supply is generally built in a sandwich layer on one side of the card holder. One end of a charger cable is connected to the power supply, and the other end of the charger cable extends out of the sandwich layer. The arrangement of the power supply and the charger cable in the sandwich layer will render the card holder large in volume. Moreover, the capacity of the power supply is positively correlated with its volume. Therefore, it is urgent to optimize the volume of the card holder and improve the portability of the card holder to meet the consumers' needs.
Based on this, it is necessary to provide a small-volume and foldable charging card holder to overcome the deficiency of single function of the conventional wallets.
The technical solutions of the present disclosure are described below.

Compared with the prior art, this application has the following beneficial effects.
The small-volume and foldable charging card holder provided in this application can also plays a role as power source in addition to the wallet. In the existing charging wallets, the power source is generally built in a sandwich layer on one side of the card holder. One end of a charger cable is connected to the power source, and the other end of the charger cable extends out of the sandwich layer. The arrangement of the power source and the charger cable in the sandwich layer will make the card holder larger than the power source in area, resulting in a larger overall volume. Moreover, due to the limitation of the battery technology, it is often required to increase the size of the power supply to reach a higher capacity, which will seriously affect the portability of the entire card holder. Compared with the existing charging wallets, in the present disclosure, the power source is directly connected to the wallet, and the power source and the wallet are designed in a left-right structure that can be relatively folded, allowing for reduced volume and high portability.
To make the above objectives, features and advantages of the present disclosure more obvious and understandable, the embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Many specific details are set forth in the following description to facilitate a full understanding of the present disclosure. However, the present disclosure can be implemented in many other ways different from those described herein, and similar improvements can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit of the present disclosure. Therefore, the present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below.
It should be noted that when an element is said to be “provided on” another element, it may be directly or indirectly provided on another element. Referring to an embodiment shown in
Specifically, the wallet 120 includes a main body, on which a plurality of card slots 121 may be provided. The plurality of card slots 121 may be arranged along a longitudinal length direction L of the wallet 120, or may be arranged along a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal length direction L. The wallet 120 is provided with the bendable portion 122. The bendable portion 122 extends along the longitudinal length direction of the wallet 120. The bendable portion 122 may be integrally formed with the main body, or may be sewn or pasted onto the main body.
The power source 110 is a portable energy storage device that can supplement power for external devices such as mobile phones.
The wallet 120 is connected to the power source 110 through the bendable portion 122, so that the wallet 120 can be folded relative to the power source 110 through the bendable portion 122 along a bending axis parallel to the longitudinal length direction L. In such cases, the wallet 120 can cover the surface of the power source 110, thereby reducing the volume of the card holder and facilitating the portability of the card holder. Certainly, the wallet 120 is unfolded with respect to the power source 110 through the bendable portion 122 for use to take cards or cash.
The small-volume and foldable card holder provided in the embodiment serves the functions of both the wallet and the power source. In the existing wallets having charging functions, the power source is generally built in a sandwich layer on one side of the card holder. One end of a charger cable is connected to the power source, and the other end of the charger cable extends out of the sandwich layer. As the power source and the charger cable need to be built in the sandwich layer, it renders the area of the card holder larger than that of the power source, resulting in a larger volume of the card holder. In particular, due to the limitation of the battery technology, the power of the power supply is positively correlated with its volume, which seriously affects the portability of the entire card holder. Compared with the existing wallets having charging functions, in the present disclosure, the power source is directly connected to the wallet on one side, and the power source and the wallet are designed to form a left-right structure that can be relatively folded, so that the card holder has a reduced volume and therefore is easy to carry.
In an embodiment, as shown in
Specifically, the front panel 111 and the rear panel 112 of the power source may be made of metal (such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy and zinc alloy), or may also be made of plastic (such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polycarbonate (PC) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)), or may also be made of ceramic, wood, leather, or carbon fiber. The front panel 111 and the rear panel 112 may be made of the same material or different materials.
The charging and discharging assembly 114 is configured to receive an external alternating current (AC) power source or direct current (DC) power source, and convert the external AC power source or DC power source to charge the battery 113. The charging and discharging assembly 114 may also convert the DC power source stored in the battery 113 to DC power for charging external devices. The charging and discharging assembly 114 and the battery 113 are both arranged in an accommodating cavity between the front panel 111 and the rear panel 112. In this embodiment, the front panel 111 and the rear panel 112 may be fixedly connected by screws and screw holes, or may be clamped by snap fasteners and grooves corresponding thereto. The bendable portion 122 of the wallet 120 may be clamped between the front panel 111 and the rear panel 112 to securely connect the wallet 120 to the power source 110.
Further, as shown in
Specifically, the clamping groove 115 may be formed by recessing a side edge of the rear panel 112 towards a bottom surface of the rear panel 112. The number of the clamping groove 115 may be multiple. In this embodiment, the number of the clamping groove 115 is three. The three clamping grooves 115 may be equally spaced apart on the side edge of the rear panel 112, with each clamping groove 115 separated from the other by a side panel. Each clamping groove 115 is provided with a protrusion 116. Obviously, the side edge of the rear panel 112 may be provided with only one clamping groove 115, and a plurality of protrusions 116 are spaced apart in the clamping groove 115. The number and position of the connection portions 123 connected to the bendable portion 122 correspond to the number and position of the clamping groove 115, respectively. For example, when there are three clamping groove 115, three connection portions 123 may be provided on the side of the bendable portion 122. The number and position of the through hole 124 on each of the connection portions 123 correspond to the number and position of the protrusion 116, respectively. In such cases, when the connection portion 123 is placed inside the clamping groove 115, the protrusions 116 can pass through the through holes 124 in a one-to-one corresponding manner. Therefore, when the front panel 111 is clamped with the rear panel 112, the connection portion 123 can be fixedly connected to the power source 110, thereby enabling the wallet 120 to be fixedly connected to the power source 110. In this embodiment, the connection portion 123 may be a portion on the bendable portion 122, or may be connected to the bendable portion 122 by sewing or pasting.
In the above embodiment, the wallet 120 is connected to the power source 110 by the connection portion 123 on the side of the bendable portion 122, so that the wallet 120 can be fixedly connected to the power source 110 to form a whole, facilitating the carry and use of the card holder.
In another embodiment, the wallet 120 may be connected to the power source 110 by magnetic suction other than a clamping connection. A first magnet (not shown in the accompanying drawings) is provided in the bendable portion 122, and a second magnet is provided in the power source 110. The first magnet and the second magnet are adsorbed to each other such that the power source 110 is removably connected to the wallet 120.
Alternatively, the bendable portion 122 of the wallet 120 is adhesive, so that the power source 110 adheres to the bendable portion 122 to enable the power source 110 to be detachably connected to the wallet 120.
Exemplarily, the bendable portion 122 may be provided with a loop-surface Velcro strip, and the portion of the power source 110 in contact with the bendable portion 122 is provided with a hook-surface Velcro strip. The loop-surface Velcro strip and the hook-surface Velcro strip are adhered to each other to detachably attach the power source 110 to the wallet 120.
In an embodiment, as shown in
In an embodiment, a side of the power source 110 is provided with a wire slot (not shown in the accompanying drawings). One end of the charging data cable 130 is electrically connected to the power source 110 in a non-detachable manner, and the other end of the charging data cable 130 is detachably clamped into the wire slot. Alternatively, both ends of the charging data cable 130 are detachably snapped into the wire slot, i.e., the charging data cable 130 is detachably connected to the power source 110, and the detached charging data cable 130 can be received in the wire slot.
In an embodiment, the bendable portion 122 is provided with a fixing structure to receive at least a portion of the charging data cable 130 in the bendable portion 122. By receiving the charging data cable 130 in the bendable portion 122, it will not take up any additional space of the wallet no matter whether the wallet is folded or unfolded, rendering the wallet a compacted structure and a reduced volume.
Exemplarily, the fixing structure may be any one of a Velcro strip, a strap, and a magnetic element, but is not limited thereto, and may also be other common fixing structures. In this embodiment, the strap may be an elastic band or Velcro, and may be sewn or attached to the surface of the bendable portion 122. Alternatively, as shown in
In an embodiment, as shown in
