Abstract
A foldable storage box, includes: a bottom plate, a first side plate, a second side plate, a third side plate, a fourth side plate, and a cover plate, where the bottom plate is hinged with each of the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate; in a non-folded state, adjacent two of the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate are detachably connected to each other; the cover plate and the bottom plate are arranged facing each other; and the bottom plate, the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, the fourth side plate, and the cover plate enclose a cavity for storage.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202422096745.4 with a filing date of Aug. 28, 2024. The content of the aforementioned application, including any intervening amendments thereto, is incorporated herein by reference.


TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of daily necessities, and in particular to a foldable storage box.


BACKGROUND

In daily life, there are a variety of items that are not commonly used. As a result, storage boxes are required to store these items that are not commonly used to avoid the occupation of living spaces, thereby improving a utilization rate of the living spaces.


Compared with the traditional storage boxes, foldable storage boxes can be folded and stored when not in use, which reduces the occupation of spaces and allows extensive applications. However, some of the current foldable storage boxes on the market have complicated structures, many components, and too-large weights, resulting in difficult folding, inconvenient use, and high costs. The rest of the current foldable storage boxes on the market have too-loose structures, such that these foldable storage boxes exhibit poor steadiness after being unfolded. When a plurality of storage boxes are stacked or under a high pressure, it is prone to collapse such that the storage boxes are tipped over or contents in the storage boxes are thrown out, causing dangers and economic losses to users.


SUMMARY OF PRESENT INVENTION

The technical problem to be solved by the embodiment of the present disclosure is that, in view of various deficiencies of the existing foldable storage boxes, a novel foldable storage box is provided.


In order to solve the above-mentioned technical problem, the embodiment of the present disclosure provides a foldable storage box, including: a bottom plate, a first side plate, a second side plate, a third side plate, a fourth side plate, and a cover plate, where the bottom plate is hinged with each of the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate, respectively; in a non-folded state, each adjacent two of the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate are detachably connected to each other; the cover plate and the bottom plate are arranged facing each other; the bottom plate, the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, the fourth side plate, and the cover plate enclose a cavity for storage; and the first side plate comprises a first hinge shaft and the bottom plate comprises a first hinge groove hinged with the first hinge shaft; the first hinge shaft includes: a cylindrical section functioned as a rotation shaft, a first connecting rod configured to fix the cylindrical section, and a limit bump located on the first connecting rod; the first hinge groove includes: a first notch, a limit buckle, and a limit groove; the limit buckle abuts against the cylindrical section and is configured to limit the cylindrical section into the first notch; and the limit bump is located in the limit groove such that the first side plate is fixed to the bottom plate in the non-folded state.


Preferably, the first side plate and the third side plate are arranged facing each other; the second side plate and the fourth side plate are arranged facing each other; the second side plate comprises a second hinge shaft and the bottom plate comprises a second hinge groove hinged with the second hinge shaft; the second hinge shaft includes: a second connecting rod and a protruding shaft located on the second connecting rod; the second hinge groove includes: a second notch and an inner groove inset in the second notch; the second connecting rod is located in the second notch; and the protruding shaft is located in the inner groove.


Preferably, the protruding shaft is cylindrical; and the protruding shaft is coupled with the inner groove such that the second side plate is able to rotate relative to the bottom plate.


Preferably, the second connecting rod is an elastic member.


Preferably, hinging modes between the third side plate and the bottom plate and between the fourth side plate and the bottom plate are identical to or different from a hinging mode between the second side plate and the bottom plate.


Preferably, the first side plate comprises a buckle and the second side plate comprises a buckle groove detachably coupled with the buckle groove such that the first side plate is detachably connected to the second side plate; the buckle includes: a limit post and a first limit button; the buckle groove includes: a third notch and a second limit button; the limit post is coupled with an inner wall of the third notch; and the first limit button is detachably connected to the second limit button.


Preferably, the first limit button includes: a first protrusion; the second limit button includes: a second protrusion; and the first protrusion is coupled with the second protrusion.


Preferably, a detachable connecting mode of the first side plate with the fourth side plate, a detachable connecting mode of the third side plate with the second side plate, and a detachable connecting mode of the third side plate with the fourth side plate are identical to or different from a detachable connecting mode of the first side plate with the second side plate.


Preferably, hinging modes of the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate with the bottom plate are identical to or different from a hinging mode of the first side plate with the bottom plate.


Preferably, when the foldable storage box is in a folded state, the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate each are folded on the bottom plate; and the cover plate is detachably connected to a side of the bottom plate opposite to the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate.


Preferably, a boss is provided on the side of the bottom plate opposite to the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate; the cover plate is provided with a recess; and the boss is detachably connected to the recess.


The present disclosure also provides a foldable storage box assembly, including: at least two foldable storage boxes described above, the bottom plate of one of the at least two foldable storage boxes is buckled with the cover plate of an adjacent one of the at least two foldable storage boxes such that the plurality of the foldable storage boxes are stacked one by one to form the foldable storage box assembly.


The implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure has the following beneficial effects:

    • (1) In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the limit bump is coupled with the limit groove such that, when the foldable storage box is in a non-folded state, the side plates each are fixed to the bottom plate. When there is a heavy object on the cover plate of the foldable storage box, the limit bump of the foldable storage box can make a pressure on the side plate apportioned, such that the foldable storage box exhibits improved steadiness and is not easy to collapse. In addition, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the bottom plate cooperates with the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, the fourth side plate, and the cover plate to produce the foldable storage box with a simple structure, a light weight, and easy folding.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

The technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure are clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure. Apparently, the embodiments are merely some rather than all of the embodiments of the present disclosure. All other embodiments obtained by a person of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments of the present disclosure without creative efforts shall fall within the protection scope of the present disclosure.


As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the embodiment of the present disclosure provides a foldable storage box. The foldable storage box includes a bottom plate 10, a first side plate 20, a second side plate 30, a third side plate 40, a fourth side plate 50, and a cover plate 60. The bottom plate 10 is hinged with each of the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50, respectively.


The foldable storage box has the following two states: a non-folded state and a folded state. When the foldable storage box is in the non-folded state, a cavity 70 is formed inside the foldable storage box to store items. When the foldable storage box is in the folded state, components of the foldable storage box are stacked to reduce a volume of the foldable storage box itself. When the foldable storage box is in the non-folded state, each adjacent two of the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50 are detachably connected to each other. The cover plate 60 and the bottom plate 10 are arranged facing each other. The first side plate 20 and the third side plate 40 are arranged facing each other. The second side plate 30 and the fourth side plate 50 are arranged facing each other. The bottom plate 10, the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, the fourth side plate 50, and the cover plate 60 enclose the cavity 70 for storage. When the foldable storage box is in the folded state, the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50 each are folded on the bottom plate 10. The bottom plate 10 is arranged on the cover plate 60. In the folded state, the components in the foldable storage box are arranged sequentially from bottom to top as follows: the cover plate 60, the bottom plate 10, the fourth side plate 50, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the first side plate 20.


In a process of the foldable storage box to change from the non-folded state to the folded state, the cover plate 60 is taken off from a top of the foldable storage box. Among the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50, it changes from a connected state to a detached state between each two adjacent side plates. Because being hinged with the bottom plate 10, the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50 can rotate towards the bottom plate 10 and folded on the bottom plate 10 successively. The bottom plate 10 is then placed on the cover plate 60. In this way, the foldable storage box changes from the non-folded state to the folded state.


As shown in FIG. 4 to FIG. 15, the bottom plate 10 includes: a bottom-plate front 140 and a bottom-plate back 160. A side of the bottom plate 10 that is hinged with the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50 is the bottom-plate front 140. A side of the bottom plate that is opposite to the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate is the bottom-plate back 160. The bottom-plate front 140 is provided with a first hinge groove 110, a second hinge groove 120, and an auxiliary groove 130. The bottom-plate back 160 is provided with a boss 150. When the foldable storage box is in the non-folded state, the cover plate 60 is detachably connected to the bottom-plate back 160.


The first side plate 20 is provided with a first hinge shaft 210 and a buckle 220. The second side plate 30 is provided with a second hinge shaft 310 and a buckle groove 320. The first hinge shaft 210 is hinged with the first hinge groove 110. The second hinge shaft 310 is hinged with the second hinge groove 120. The buckle 220 is detachably connected to the buckle groove 320. The third side plate 40 is similar to the first side plate 20, and is also provided with a first hinge shaft 210 and a buckle 220. The fourth side plate 50 is similar to the second side plate 30, and is also provided with a second hinge shaft 310 and a buckle groove 320. The first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50 are hinged with the bottom plate 10 by hinging the first hinge shafts 210 and the second hinge shafts 310 arranged on the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50 with the first hinge grooves 110 and the second hinge grooves 120 arranged on the bottom plate 10. The buckles 220 arranged on the first side plate 20 and the third side plate 40 are detachably connected to the buckle grooves 320 arranged on the second side plate 30 and the fourth side plate 50 to make two adjacent side plates among the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50 detachably connected to each other.


In some embodiments, the bottom-plate front 140 is provided with a first hinge shaft 210 and the first side plate 20 is provided with a first hinge groove 110, such that the first hinge shaft 210 is hinged with the first hinge groove 110 to make the bottom plate 10 hinged with the first side plate 20.


In some embodiments, the bottom-plate front 140 is provided with a second hinge shaft 310 and the second side plate 30 is provided with a second hinge groove 120, such that the second hinge shaft 310 is hinged with the second hinge groove 120 to make the bottom plate 10 hinged with the second side plate 30.


In some embodiments, the first side plate 20 is provided with a buckle groove 320 and the second side plate 30 is provided with a buckle 220, such that the buckle groove 320 is buckled with the buckle 220 to make the first side plate 20 detachably connected to the second side plate 30. The scope of the present disclosure cannot be limited by determining that the buckle grooves 320 and the buckles 220 are located on which specific side plates among the first side plate 20, the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50. The two adjacent side plates are buckled with each other through the detachable connection between the buckle groove 320 and the buckle 220. However, the buckle groove 320 and the buckle 220 each can be arranged on any one of the two adjacent side plates.


In some embodiments, hinging modes of the second side plate 30, the third side plate 40, and the fourth side plate 50 with the bottom plate all can be hinging of the first hinge shaft 210 with the first hinge groove 110.


In some embodiments, hinging modes of the third side plate 40 and the fourth side plate 50 with the bottom plate all can be hinging of the second hinge shaft 310 with the second hinge groove 120.


As shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 8, the first hinge groove 110 includes: a first notch 111, a limit buckle 112, a limit groove 113, and a connecting rod groove 114. The first hinge shaft 210 includes: a cylindrical section 211 for a rotation shaft, a first connecting rod 212 configured to fix the cylindrical section 211, a limit bump 213 located on the first connecting rod 212, and an auxiliary member 214 configured to reinforce the first connecting rod 212 and the first side plate 20. The first notch 111 is configured to accommodate the cylindrical section 211. A contour of the first notch 111 fits with the cylindrical section 211, such that the cylindrical section 211 can easily slide on the first notch 111. The limit buckle 112 is located on the first notch 111. The limit buckle 112 abuts against the cylindrical section 211, and is configured to limit the displacement of the cylindrical section 211 such that the cylindrical section 211 is fixed in the first notch 111. The connecting rod groove 114 is located at two ends of the first notch 111, and is configured to accommodate the first connecting rod 212. The limit groove 113 is located above the connecting rod groove 114, and is configured to accommodate the limit bump 213. The limit bump 213 is coupled with the limit groove 113 such that, when the foldable storage box is in the non-folded state, the first side plate 20 is fixed to the bottom plate 10.


As shown in FIG. 3, FIG. 5, and FIG. 9 to FIG. 11, the second hinge shaft 120 includes: a second connecting rod 121 and a protruding shaft 122 located on the second connecting rod. The second hinge groove 310 includes: a second notch 311 and an inner groove 312 inset in the second notch. The second connecting rod 121 is located in the second notch 311. The protruding shaft 122 is located in the inner groove 312. The protruding shaft 122 is cylindrical. The protruding shaft 122 is coupled with the inner groove 312, such that the second connecting rod 121 is fixed in the second notch 311 and thus the second side plate 30 is further fixed to the bottom plate 10. An outer contour of the protruding shaft 122 fits with the inner groove 312 such that the second side plate 30 can rotate relative to the bottom plate 10. The second hinge shaft 120 includes two second connecting rods 121 and two protruding shafts 122. Each second connecting rod 121 is provided with a protruding shaft 122. The two protruding shafts 122 are arranged facing each other. The second connecting rod 121 is an elastic member. When the foldable storage box is assembled, the second side plate 30 is arranged on the bottom plate 10. Under an action of an external force, the second connecting rod 121 is bent and deformed such that the protruding shaft 122 is coupled in the inner groove 312.


The second side plate 30 is further provided with an auxiliary shaft. The auxiliary shaft is hinged with the auxiliary groove 130. The auxiliary groove 130 is located at the same side as the second hinge groove 120, and is located among a plurality of second hinge grooves 120. The auxiliary shaft and the auxiliary groove 130 are provided to increase the stability of hinging between the second side plate 30 and the bottom plate 10.


As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 12 to FIG. 14, the buckle 220 includes: a limit post 221 and a first limit button 222. The buckle groove 320 includes: a third notch 321 and a second limit button 322. The limit post 221 is located at upper and lower ends of the first limit button 222. The limit post 221 is coupled with an inner wall of the third notch 321. The first limit button 222 is detachably connected to the second limit button 322. The first side plate 20 is detachably connected to the second side plate 30 through the clamping of the limit post 221 with the inner wall of the third notch 321 and the detachable connection of the first limit button 222 with the second limit button 322. The first limit button 222 includes: a first protrusion 223. The second limit button 322 includes: a second protrusion 323. The first protrusion 223 is coupled with the second protrusion 323 to make the first limit button 222 detachably connected to the second limit button 322.


As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the first side plate 20 and the third side plate 40 both are provided with a handle hole. The fourth side plate 50 is provided with an inlet and an outlet. An upper end of the handle hole is provided with a wavy stripe. The handle hole is provided for a user to grasp, thereby facilitating the lifting and lowering. The inlet and the outlet are configured to place an item in the foldable storage box or take an item out from the foldable storage box.


As shown in FIG. 15, the cover plate 60 is provided with a recess 610, and the recess 610 can be detachably connected to the boss 150. Thus, at least two foldable storage boxes can be stacked to form a foldable storage box assembly. In addition, when the foldable storage box is folded, the cover plate 60 can also be detachably connected to the bottom plate 10 through the detachable connection of the recess 610 with the boss 150.

Claims
  • 1. A foldable storage box, comprising: a bottom plate, a first side plate, a second side plate, a third side plate, a fourth side plate, and a cover plate, wherein the bottom plate is hinged with each of the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate, respectively; in a non-folded state, each adjacent two of the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate are detachably connected to each other; the cover plate and the bottom plate are arranged facing each other; the bottom plate, the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, the fourth side plate, and the cover plate enclose a cavity for storage; andthe first side plate comprises a first hinge shaft and the bottom plate comprises a first hinge groove hinged with the first hinge shaft; the first hinge shaft comprises: a cylindrical section functioned as a rotation shaft, a first connecting rod configured to fix the cylindrical section, and a limit bump located on the first connecting rod; the first hinge groove comprises: a first notch, a limit buckle, and a limit groove; the limit buckle abuts against the cylindrical section and is configured to limit the cylindrical section into the first notch; and the limit bump is located in the limit groove such that the first side plate is fixed to the bottom plate in the non-folded state.
  • 2. The foldable storage box according to claim 1, wherein the first side plate and the third side plate are arranged facing each other; the second side plate and the fourth side plate are arranged facing each other; the second side plate comprises a second hinge shaft and the bottom plate comprises a second hinge groove, hinged with the second hinge shaft; and the second hinge shaft comprises: a second connecting rod and a protruding shaft located on the second connecting rod; the second hinge groove comprises: a second notch and an inner groove inset in the second notch; the second connecting rod is located in the second notch; and the protruding shaft is located in the inner groove.
  • 3. The foldable storage box according to claim 2, wherein the protruding shaft is cylindrical; and the protruding shaft is coupled with the inner groove such that the second side plate is able to rotate relative to the bottom plate.
  • 4. The foldable storage box according to claim 2, wherein the second connecting rod is an elastic member.
  • 5. The foldable storage box according to claim 2, wherein hinging modes between the third side plate and the bottom plate and between the fourth side plate and the bottom plate are identical to or different from a hinging mode between the second side plate and the bottom plate.
  • 6. The foldable storage box according to claim 2, wherein the first side plate comprises a buckle and the second side plate comprises a buckle groove detachably coupled with the buckle groove such that the first side plate is detachably connected to the second side plate; the buckle comprises: a limit post and a first limit button; the buckle groove comprises: a third notch and a second limit button; the limit post is coupled with an inner wall of the third notch; and the first limit button is detachably connected to the second limit button.
  • 7. The foldable storage box according to claim 6, wherein the first limit button comprises a first protrusion; the second limit button comprises a second protrusion; and the first protrusion is coupled with the second protrusion.
  • 8. The foldable storage box according to claim 6, wherein a detachable connecting mode of the first side plate with the fourth side plate, a detachable connecting mode of the third side plate with the second side plate, and a detachable connecting mode of the third side plate with the fourth side plate are identical to or different from a detachable connecting mode of the first side plate with the second side plate.
  • 9. The foldable storage box according to claim 1, wherein hinging modes of the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate with the bottom plate are identical to or different from a hinging mode of the first side plate with the bottom plate.
  • 10. The foldable storage box according to claim 1, wherein when the foldable storage box is in a folded state, the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate each are folded on the bottom plate; and the cover plate is detachably connected to a side of the bottom plate opposite to the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate.
  • 11. The foldable storage box according to claim 10, wherein a boss is provided on the side of the bottom plate opposite to the first side plate, the second side plate, the third side plate, and the fourth side plate; the cover plate is provided with a recess; and the boss is detachably connected to the recess.
  • 12. A foldable storage box assembly, comprising: at least two the foldable storage boxes according to claim 1, wherein the bottom plate of one of the at least two foldable storage boxes is buckled with the cover plate of an adjacent one of the at least two foldable storage box such that the at least two foldable storage boxes are stacked one by one to form the foldable storage box assembly.
