Abstract
A foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of a leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment wherein the device is easy to transport and is able to store various items for gatherings or outings.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

An object of a foldable wheeled storage chair device is to provide seating a single person.


Another object of a foldable wheeled storage device is to provide insulated storage for items.


Another object of a foldable wheeled storage device is to allow people to enjoy their time outdoors without worrying about all the items that people need to have with them.


Another object of a foldable wheeled storage device is to incorporate all that people would need to enjoy themselves in one device.


One advantage of the invention is that it is fully foldable and can hold items when folded. Another advantage of the invention is that it is maneuverable with one hand when folded. Another advantage of the invention is that it can support one person with items when fully expanded.


Another advantage of the invention is that it is compact when folded.


Another advantage of the invention is that it has slide out insulated compartments to hold items.


Another advantage of the invention is that it has concaved leg rest areas to ease in sitting in the chair.


Another advantage of the invention is that it has a slide out headrest.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION


FIG. 1 is a side view of a foldable wheeled storage chair device in a folded position. Wheels 22 are attached to a rear underside of the foldable wheeled storage chair device. The foldable wheeled storage device has a side compartment 14 which pulls out. A fold-down hand hold 12 is located on the side compartment 14 to be used to pull out the side compartment 14. The side compartment is located in a main chair body 6. A carry along handle 4 is located on a front side of the main chair body 6. An arm rest and an adjustable fold up back rest are located on top of the main chair body 6 A rear compartment 21 is located at the back of the main chair body 6.


The rear compartment 21 has a rear compartment lid 16 and a rear hand hold 24. Attachment points are as shown in FIG. 4. A rear attachment point 20 is located on the rear of the foldable wheeled storage device. A middle attachment point 18 is located at a bottom of the main chair body 6 near the wheels 22. A front attachment point 8 is located on a front bottom of the main chair body 6.



FIG. 2 is a front view of a foldable wheeled storage chair device in a folded position. A back rest 26 is folded on top of fold out temporary seat and leg rest 30. A fold-down front handle 32 is attached to a front compartment 31. Carry along handle 27 is attached to a front compartment 31. Arm rests 28, 29 are folded on top of a front compartment 31.



FIG. 3 is a front view of a foldable wheeled storage device with slide out compartments 34, 54 extended. A back rest 40 is folded on top of fold out temporary seat and leg rest 46. A front handle 51 is attached to a front compartment 50. Carry along handle 51 is attached to a front compartment 50. Arm rests 42, 44 are folded on top of a front compartment 50. Slide out compartment 34 has compartment lid 36 attached to an inside of the slide out compartment 34. Compartment lid 36 has fold-down compartment lid hand hold 38. Slide out compartment 54 has compartment lid 48. Compartment lid 48 has compartment lid hand hold 38. Slide out compartments 34, 54 have double wall insulation.



FIG. 4 is an attachment method for a foldable wheeled storage device. Attachment points have flanged heads 56, 58. Attachment 64 has keyhole shaped openings 60, 62 that are of appropriate size to fit over flanged heads 56 and 58 respectively. When attachment 64 is placed over flanged heads 56, 58, attachment 64 is moved in a downward direction 66 to lock the attachment points in place.



FIG. 5 is a side view of an expanding foldable wheeled storage device in the process of expanding. Leg rest support 68 folds in an outward direction on fold out temporary seat 69. Fold out temporary seat 69 folds in an upward direction on leg rest support 78. Leg rest support 78 folds in and outward and down direction on main compartment 82. Arm rest 74 is supported by arm rest support 78. Back rest 72 is attached with ratcheting joints 80 to the main compartment.



82. Slide up head rest 70 slides up out of the back rest 72. Rear compartment lid 96 is situated on a rear portion of the foldable wheeled storage device. Hand hold 84 is situated on the main compartment 82. Carry along handle 94 is attached to the main compartment 82. Attachment points are as shown in FIG. 4. A rear attachment point 88 is located on the rear of the foldable wheeled storage device. A middle attachment point 90 is located at a bottom of the main compartment 82 near the wheels 86. A front attachment point 92 is located on a front bottom of the main compartment 82.



FIG. 6 is a side view of an expanded foldable wheeled storage device in full expansion. Leg rest support 98 is connected to fold out temporary seat and leg rest support 100. Fold out temporary seat and leg rest support is connected to main compartment 104. Arm rest 122 is supported by arm rest support 120. Back rest 124 is attached with ratcheting joints 118 to the main compartment 104. Slide up head rest 125 slides out of the back rest 124. Rear compartment lid 116 is situated on a rear portion of the foldable wheeled storage device. Hand hold 106 is situated on the main compartment 104. Carry along handle 102 is attached to the main compartment 104. Attachment points are as shown in FIG. 4. A rear attachment point 114 is located on the rear of the foldable wheeled storage device. A middle attachment point 112 is located at a bottom of the main compartment 104 near the wheels 110. A front attachment point 108 is located on a front bottom of the main compartment 104.



FIG. 7 is a top view of an expanded foldable wheeled storage device. Permanent seat 140 is attached to back rest 142 and head support 144. Slide out compartments 136, 138 are extended. Leg rest area 130 is attached to permanent seat 140. Leg rest area 130 has open concaved leg rest areas 132, 134 for easy entrance and exit of the expanded foldable wheeled storage device.


It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that changes and modifications may be made in the embodiments illustrated, without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.


Thus, the invention is not to be limited to the particular forms herein shown and described except insofar as indicated by the scope of the appended claims.

Claims
  • 1. A foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of a leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment.
  • 2. The foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 1, wherein the foldable wheeled storage chair may be compactly folded so as to be easily transported with the carry along handle.
  • 3. The foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 1, wherein the leg rest extends.
  • 4. The foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 3, wherein the leg rest has a leg rest support.
  • 5. The foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 1, wherein the back rest folds up and extends.
  • 6. The foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 5, wherein the slide up head rest extends from the back rest.
  • 7. The foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 1, wherein the arm rest unfolds and has an arm rest support.
  • 8. A method of manufacturing a foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of a leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment.
  • 9. The method of manufacturing the foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 9, wherein the foldable wheeled storage chair may be compactly folded so as to be easily transported with the carry along handle.
  • 10. The method of manufacturing the foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 9, wherein the leg rest extends.
  • 11. The method of manufacturing the foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 10, wherein the leg rest has a leg rest support.
  • 12. The method of manufacturing the foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 9, wherein the back rest folds up and extends.
  • 13. The method of manufacturing the foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 9, wherein the slide up head rest extends from the back rest.
  • 14. The method of manufacturing the foldable wheeled storage chair device comprising of the leg rest, temporary seat, back rest, arm rest, slide up head rest, wheels, carry along handle, rear compartment, rear hand hold, and side compartment as in claim 9, wherein the arm rest unfolds and has an arm rest support.
