BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present utility model relates to furniture, more particularly, to a folding chair.
2. Description of the Prior Art
As a simple and practical furniture piece, the folding chair is being widely used in various social fields, including office, sports and leisure activities, etc. Generally, it is characterized by foldability, smallness and exquisiteness, being supported firmly when unfolded and convenience for transportation and storage. However, the folding chair has an intricate structure with many connecting supports but has a unitary function. Especially in outdoor situations, the folding chair cannot be used in combination with other household articles. In addition, folding chairs cannot be carried if not folded, and traditional folding chairs do not carry easily and are not suitable for use in outdoor sports and leisure activities.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present utility model is to provide a multi-purpose folding chair which is easy to use, simple in structure, applicable to outdoor sports and leisure activities and suitable for travels by overcoming shortcomings of the existing technologies.
The object of the present utility model is achieved through the following steps: the folding chair comprising a cushion support, a rear cushion support, a backrest support, an arm support, a cushion plate and a backrest; the cushion support intersecting the rear cushion support and combined with each other by a pivot, around which the cushion support and rear cushion support can rotate; one end of the backrest support being pivotally connected with that of the cushion support, while one end of the arm support being pivotally combined with that of the rear cushion support; the backrest support being pivotally connected with the arm support at both ends; the two ends of the cushion plate being respectively fixed on the cushion support and rear cushion support, which are connected pivotally; the cushion plate limiting the opening angle between the cushion support and rear cushion support, which form a certain angle when unfolded and merge when packed up; the arm support being pivotally combined with the backrest support; the other end of the arm support being pivotally connected with the rear cushion support, and the other end of the backrest support being pivotally connected with the cushion support to form a four-bar mechanism; utilizing the length of the cushion plate to limit the size of the four-bar mechanism when it is unfolded; the cushion support, rear cushion support, backrest support, arm support and cushion plate constituting a four-bar mechanism that is foldable; the backrest being fixed on the backrest support; the cushion support and rear cushion support can rotate around a pivot and is connected by the pivot, and will form a certain opening angle between them when unfolded or merge when folded. In addition, the length of the cushion plate can be used to limit the size of the four-bar mechanism when it is unfolded. The present utility model includes a backpack connecting component in the rear cushion support, and a connecting component is installed on the backpack, so that the backpack can be fastened to the folding chair by fixing the connecting component in the backpack with the backpack connecting component in the rear cushion support. The backpack is fixed on the back of the cushion plate of the folding chair. In this way, the backpack and the folding chair will be fastened together as a whole and carried for traveling purpose.
The folding chair is equipped with a backpack connecting component, which fits with the connecting component in the backpack to fasten the backpack and the folding chair together.
The connecting component installed in the backpack may be a zipper, a buckle or Velcro strip.
A backpack connecting component is installed on the rear cushion support, which is a zipper, a buckle or Velcro strip and fastened to the rear cushion support.
To fasten the backpack tightly to the folding chair, a fastener is installed on the backpack to fix the backpack into the folding chair, and the fastener may be a buckle or Velcro strip. The fastener is fixed together with the cushion support, rear cushion support, backrest support or arm support of the folding chair.
The present utility model is simple and easy to use, providing a multi-purpose folding chair suitable for outdoor sports and leisure activities.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present utility model will be further described in reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, the present utility model includes a cushion support 1, a rear cushion support 2, a backrest support 3, an arm support 4, a cushion plate 5 and a backrest 6, wherein the cushion support 1 intersects the rear cushion support 2 and is pivotally combined with each other, and one end of the backrest support 3 is connected with that of the cushion support 1 by using a pivot, while one end of the arm support 4 is pivotally combined with that of the rear cushion support 2. The backrest support 3 is pivotally connected with the arm support 4 at both ends, and the two ends of the cushion plate 5 are fixed on the cushion support 1 and rear cushion support 2 respectively, while the backrest 6 is fixed on the backrest support 3. The opening angle between the cushion support 1 and rear cushion support 2 is limited by the cushion plate 5. In addition, the cushion support 1, the rear cushion support 2, the backrest support 3, the arm support 4 and the cushion plate 5 constitute a four-bar mechanism, while the arm support 4 and the rear cushion support 2 pivotally connected with it as well as the backrest support 3 and the cushion support 1 that is pivotally connected constitute another four-bar mechanism.
Refer to FIG. 2, which shows the folding chair disclosed in the present utility model contains the cushion support 1, the rear cushion support 2, the backrest support 3, the arm support 4, the cushion plate 5 and the backrest 6, wherein the cushion support 1 intersects the rear cushion support 2 and is connected with each other by using a pivot 12, and one end of the backrest support 3 is connected with that of the cushion support 1 by using a pivot 13. Besides, the arm support 4 and the rear cushion support 2 are connected by a pivot 14 at one end, and the backrest support 3 is combined with the arm support 4 at both ends by using a pivot 34. The two ends of the cushion plate 5 are fixed on the cushion support 1 and rear cushion support 2 respectively, while the backrest 6 is fixed on the backrest support 3, and the cushion plate 5 is used to limit the opening angle between the cushion support 1 and the rear cushion support 2. On one hand, the cushion support 1, the rear cushion support 2, the backrest support 3, the arm support 4 and the cushion plate 5 constitute a four-bar mechanism and can stack up; on the other hand, the arm support 4 and the rear cushion support 2 are pivotally connected, and the backrest support 3 and the cushion support 1 are pivotally connected, too, thus constituting another four-bar mechanism. In the folding chair, there is a backpack connecting component 7, which may be a zipper or buckle, and a backpack rod 8 is installed on the rear cushion support 2 to fasten the zipper or buckle.
As shown in FIG. 3, the folding chair of the present utility model includes the backpack connecting component 7, which is a zipper 8.
As shown in FIG. 4, the folding chair of the present utility model includes the backpack connecting component 7, which is a buckle 9.
As shown in FIG. 5, in the present utility model, the cushion support and the rear cushion support can rotate around a pivot and are combined by the pivot, and the cushion plate is used to limit the opening angle between the cushion support and rear cushion support, which can be stacked up when put together. One end of the arm support is combined with the backrest support through a pivot, while the other end of the arm support is connected with the rear cushion support by using another pivot, and the other end of the backrest support is combined with the cushion support pivot to constitute a four-bar mechanism. The length of the cushion plate can be utilized to limit the size of the four-bar mechanism when it is unfolded. The cushion support, the rear cushion support, the backrest support, the arm support and the cushion plate constitute a four-bar mechanism.
As shown in FIGS. 6˜7, the backpack in the present utility model includes a connecting component 9, which is a zipper and fits with the backpack connecting component in the folding chair to fasten the backpack and folding chair together as a whole for carrying purpose. The backpack also includes a strap connecting component 10, which is a fast buckle. The backpack and the folding chair can be integrated and used in combination with travel or sports bags. The backpack includes a connecting component which may be a zipper, buckle or Velcro strip, and the folding chair also has a connecting component which may be a zipper, buckle or Velcro strip. The connecting component in the backpack fits with the backpack connecting component installed in the folding chair, so that the backpack can be fastened to the folding chair as a whole to allow the folding chair to be carried on a back or lifted for traveling purpose.
