Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present utility patent relates to the technical field of chair, in particular to a folding chair.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Folding chair is a chair with folding function, which is loved by users as its advantage in easy to move and foldable to save space. However, existed folding chairs on the market keep unfolding condition just by friction at the folding connecting structure or men sitting on the chairs instead of using lock structure. Therefore, it is unstable and not safe because of lacking lock structure for children as most of them are lively and active, when they move around on the chair, these chairs will shake and make children fall down.

For example, there is a patent named folding chair, whose patent application number is 201510071855.8. It includes two side stands, several connecting piece an a cushion board. The two side stands are arranged paralleled at intervals and each one has a first support component respectively, and a second support component extends upwards from one end of the first support component; each connecting piece comprises two first combination components which are pivoted one to one on the two sides of the two side stands and there is a first fold line at the pivot joint of the two combination components; the cushion board comprises two second combination components which are pivoted and there is a second fold line at the pivot joint of the two second combination components; the two second combination components of the cushion board are pivoted one to one on the two side frames with their pivotal components and each one comprises a pivotal component respectively. The overall structure of the folding chair is unstable because it is not locked. The folding char is prone to shaking and causing children to fall, which affects the safety to use.

The present utility patent is made based on above situation.

Compared with prior art, the present utility patent has following advantages:

    • 1. There is a locking structure between a front plate and a seat plate for locking them when the seat plate flips down. As unfolding the folding chair, the stability and safety is improved by the locking structure, thereby preventing children from falling down due to shaking.
    • 2. A first bevel is arranged in a first locked block. In the process of a seat plate turns over and pressed against the front plate, a first locked component pushes a lock buckle according to the first bevel. After the seat plate fits in with the front plate perfectly, a spring pushes the lock buckle back to make the first locked block insert into a first socket to realize self-locking conveniently, instead of men push the first locked block into the first socket.
    • 3. A second bevel is arranged in a second locked block. In the process of the front plate presses against a side front plate, a second locked component pushes a lock buckle according to the second bevel. After the front plate fits in with the side front plate perfectly, a spring pushes the lock buckle back to make the second locked block insert into a second socket to realize self-locking conveniently, instead of men push the second locked block into the second socket. It is convenient to move a folding chair by locking the front plate and the side front plate meantime to prevent the chair from unfolding automatically.
    • 4. Both sides of a back plate comprises a forward protruding connecting component and the connecting component and the back plate form a storage area capable of accommodating the seat plate, which makes a folding chair more compact.
    • 5. A supporting plate is buckled on the side front plate, which capable of placing some tablewares or food. A second bump buckled to the buckle is arranged both sides of the back plate. When the chair is in folding condition, the supporting plate is buckled to the back plate.

The folding chair as shown from FIGS. 1 to 12, comprises a back plate 1; a seat plate 2, which capable of flipping up towards the back plate 1, is hinged at the front side of the back plate 1; a side rear plate 3, which capable of flipping inward towards the seat plate 2 after the seat plate 2 flipping up, is hinged at the left and right sides of the back plate 1; a side front plate 4, which capable of flipping towards the side rear plate 3 after the side rear plate 3 flipping inward, is hinged at the front side 5 of the side rear plate 3; a front plate 5, which capable of flipping towards the side front plate 4 after the side front plate 4 flipping towards the side rear plate 3 and whose left and right ends hinged respectively at the front end of left and right sides of the side front plate 4; and a locking structure, which capable of locking the front plate 5 and the seat plate 2 after the seat plate 2 flipping down, is arranged between the front plate 5 and the seat plate 2. As unfolding the folding chair, the stability and safety is improved by the locking structure, thereby preventing children from falling down due to shaking.

The locking structure comprises a first locked component 21 under the seat plate 2 and a lock buckle 22 sliding connected to rear side of the front plate 5; the first locked component 21 comprises a first socket 211 and a first locked block 221 is arranged in the lock buckle 22 to slide and insert into the first socket 211 with the lock buckle 22. The stability of the folding chair is improved by making the first locked block 221 insert into the first socket 211 to lock the front plate 5 and the seat plate 2.

A slide groove which comprises a mounting column 52 is arranged in the front plate 5 for a lock buckle 22 to slide. The lock buckle 22 comprises a limit hole 223 for the mounting column 52 to pass through which includes a detachable arranged limit block 53 for prevent the lock buckle 22 from going out the mounting column 52. In a embodiment, the limit hole 223 is a long hole along the length of the slide groove 51, a threaded hole is arranged in one end of the mounting column 52 and the limit block 53 is fixed installed in the mounting column 52 by screws.

A spring 222 is arranged between the lock buckle 22 and the front plate for pushing the lock buckle 22 to make a first locked block 221 insert into a first socket 211 to realize self-locking conveniently, instead of men push the first locked block 221 into the first socket.

A first bevel 2211 is arranged in the first locked block 221. In the process of the seat plate 2 presses against the front plate 5, the first locked component 21 pushes the lock buckle 22 according to the first bevel 2211. When the seat plate 2 fits in with the front plate 5 perfectly, the spring 222 pushes the lock buckle 22 back to make the first locked block 221 insert into the first socket 211 to realize self-locking conveniently, instead of men push the first locked block 221 into the first socket 211.

A second bevel 2251 is arranged in the second locked block 225 which connects to the second locked component 41 and makes it push the second locked block 225.

In the process of the front plate 5 presses against the side front plate 4, the second locked component 41 pushes the lock buckle 22 according to the second bevel 2251. When the front plate 5 and the side front plate 4 folds into place, the spring 222 pushes the lock buckle 22 back to make the second locked block 225 insert into the second socket 411 to realize self-locking, which is convenient to move a folding chair by locking structure to prevent the chair from unfolding automatically. It is unlocked by pulling the pull piece 224 directly to make the second locked block 225 go out the second socket 411.

Both sides of the back plate 1 comprises a forward protruding connecting component 11 and the connecting component 11 and the back plate 1 form a storage area 111 capable of accommodating the seat plate 2, which makes a folding chair more compact.

A folding chair as above, a supporting plate buckled on the side front plate; a first bump arranged above the side front plate and buckled to a buckle arranged on the supporting plate and a second bump arranged in both sides of the back plate and bucked to the buckle.

The supporting plate 7 is installed in the side front plate 4, when the folding chair is in unfolding condition, it has a function of dining table to place some tablewares and food in the supporting plate 7. There is no need to carry the supporting plate 7 separately, as it is buckled to the back plate 1 when the folding chair is in unfolding condition by a second bump 8 bucked to the buckle 71 in both sides of the back plate 1.

A lifting handle 9 is arranged above the back plate 1 for lifting the folding chair conveniently, and a lifting handle hole 91 is arranged in the lifting handle 9 for fingers to pass through and grip on the lifting handle 9.
