DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present utility model are clearly and thoroughly described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present utility model. Apparently, the described embodiments are merely some but not all embodiments of the present utility model. All other embodiments obtained by a person of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments of the present utility model without making any inventive efforts shall also fall within the protection scope of the present utility model.

As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 7, a folding sofa comprises a foldable seat cushion 1 and a foldable back cushion 2; the foldable back cushion 2 comprises a first U-shaped cushion 21 and a second U-shaped cushion 22; the first U-shaped cushion 21 is stacked on the second U-shaped cushion 22; an open end of the first U-shaped cushion 21 is rotatably connected to an open end of the second U-shaped cushion 22; and one end of the second U-shaped cushion 22 opposite to the open end of the second U-shaped cushion 22 is rotatably connected to the foldable seat cushion 1.

Further, the foldable seat cushion 1 comprises a first cushion block 11, a second cushion block 12, and a third cushion block 13 which are connected in sequence and are foldable with respect to one another; the first cushion block 11 is rotatably connected to the second U-shaped cushion 22.

Further, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, at least two first zippers 3 are arranged between the first cushion block 11 and the second U-shaped cushion 22; said at least two first zippers 3 are disposed between right sides of the first cushion block 11 and the second U-shaped cushion 22 and/or between left sides of the first cushion block 11 and the second U-shaped cushion 22, and also between a side of the second U-shaped cushion 22 opposite to the open end of the second U-shaped cushion 22 and a corresponding side of the first cushion block 11; when all of said at least two first zippers 3 are zipped, the first cushion block 11 is fixed with the second U-shaped cushion; when all of said at least two first zippers 3 are unzipped, the first cushion block 11 and the second U-shaped cushion 22 can be mutually separated from each other; when only the first zipper disposed between the side of the second U-shaped cushion 22 opposite to the open end of the second U-shaped cushion 22 and the corresponding side of the first cushion block 11 is zipped while the first zipper(s) 3 disposed between right sides of the first cushion block 11 and the second U-shaped cushion 22 and between left sides of the first cushion block 11 and the second U-shaped cushion 22 is/are unzipped, the second U-shaped cushion 22 is rotatably connected with the first cushion block 11.

Further, a second zipper 3 is arranged between the first U-shaped cushion 21 and the second U-shaped cushion 22; when the second zipper is zipped, the first U-shaped cushion 21 and the second U-shaped cushion 22 are fixed in position with respect to each other; when said second zipper 3 is unzipped, the first U-shaped cushion 21 is rotatable with respect to the second U-shaped cushion 22.

In the embodiments of the present application, the first cushion block 11, the second cushion block 12, and the third cushion block 13 are made of soft materials such as a sponge or latex, and they are configured to be rotatable and foldable with respect to one another by using an integral piece of soft packaging material (such as cloth) which encapsulates and connects the first cushion block 11, the second cushion block 12, and the third cushion block 13 in sequence. To achieve folding from an unfolded state, the third cushion block 13 can be folded upwards onto a top surface the second cushion block 12, and the second cushion block 12 can be folded downwards so that a bottom surface of the second cushion block 12 is in contact with a bottom surface of the first cushion block 11; as such, the first cushion block 11, the second cushion block 12, and the third cushion block 13 are stacked in sequence with the first cushion block 11 at the top and the third cushion block 13 at the bottom. Analogously, the first U-shaped cushion 21 and the second U-shaped cushion 22 are configured to be rotatable and foldable with respect to each other by similarly being encapsulated and connected by an integral piece of soft packaging material.

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, in a first state of use, the first cushion block 11, the second cushion block 12, and the third cushion block 13 are folded and stacked upon one another to form a three-layer foldable seat cushion 1; the first U-shaped cushion 21 and the second U-shaped cushion 22 are also stacked to form the foldable back cushion 2; further, the foldable back cushion 2 is stacked on the foldable seat cushion 1 to form the folding sofa.

As shown in FIG. 4, in a second state of use, the third cushion block 13 is rotated and unfolded towards a rear side of the folding sofa compared to the first state of use, so as to reduce a height of the folding sofa, and the third cushion block 13 can also provide a seat at the rear side of the folding sofa.

As shown in FIG. 5, in a third state of use, the first cushion block 11, the second cushion block 12, and the third cushion block 13 are unfolded to form a long cushion extending along a same plane; the foldable back cushion 2 is stacked on the first cushion block 11. A user can sit on the first cushion block 11, use the foldable back cushion 2 as a backrest and armrests, and use the long cushion as a foot rest, so that the comfort level when the user sits on the sofa can be improved; also, the long cushion can allow many users to sit at the same time. Besides, user can also lie on the long cushion and put his/her head into a U-shaped opening of the foldable back cushion 2, so that the foldable back cushion 2 may block some noise from being transmitted to the ears, thus improving sleeping.

As shown in FIG. 6, in a fourth state of use which is further developed from the third state of use, the first U-shaped cushion 21 is rotated at the open end of the second U-shaped cushion 22 so as to be unfolded with respect to the second U-shaped cushion 22; as such, the foldable back cushion 2 is unfolded to form an annular barrier inside which children or pets can play.

As shown in FIG. 7, in a fifth state of use which is further developed from the third state of use, the foldable back cushion 2 is rotated rearward towards an outer side of the long cushion and stands on the ground obliquely, and user can lie on the long cushion and rest his/her head on said one end of the second U-shaped cushion 22 opposite to the open end of the second U-shaped cushion 22.

The folding sofa provided by the embodiments of the present utility model is ingenious in structural design which allows folding and unfolding in different ways conveniently so that the folding sofa can be used in different forms to adapt to various applications; therefore, the practicability, functional diversity, and comfortability of the sofa are improved.

For the embodiments of the present utility model, it should also be noted that the embodiments of the present utility model and features in the embodiments may be mutually combined without conflicts to obtain new embodiments.
