This delays the business and the customers are not satisfied of the time-consuming service.

The present invention intends to provide a food box that has a cover with at least one window covered by a transparent film so as to display the food in the box.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a food box comprising a base having four side walls and A cover which is mounted to the base and has a window. A transparent film is attached to the cover and covers the window.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a plan view of the food box of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view to show the food box with the cover being opened;

FIG. 3 is a perspective view to show the food box with the cover being closed, and

FIG. 4 shows the transparent film is to be attached to the cover.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the food box 10 of the present invention comprises a base which is composed of a first part 11 and a second part 12. Each of the first part 11 and the second part 12 has two side plates 13 on two opposite sides thereof, and two end wall plate 14 on two opposite ends thereof. The first part 11 is connected to the second part 12 by two respective adjacent side wall plates 13. The side wall plates 13 are connected to the end wall plates 14 by two corner portions 15 on two ends of each of the side plates 13 of the first part 11 and the second part 12. An extension portion 141 extends from each of the end wall plates 14 of the second part 12.

Each corner portion 15 can be folded at the center to pull adjacent side wall plate 13 and the end wall plate 14 of each of the first part 11 and the second part 12 so that each of the first part 11 and the second part 12 has four side walls. The extensions 141 are then glued to the end wall plates 14 of the first part 11. A plurality of separation ribs 30 can be attached to the second part 12 by gluing fixing plates 31 of the separation ribs 30 to the side wall plates 13 of the second part 12.

A cover 16 has four sides and one of which is connected to the other one of the side wall plates 13 of the second part 12. Three side wall plates 17 are connected to the other three sides of the cover 16 so that the cover 16 can be mounted to the base. Two windows 161 are defined through the cover 16 and a transparent film 20 is attached to the cover 16 and covering the windows 161. The transparent film 20 can be Dupont Biomax PET 4024, Low Density PE, or heat-resistant film. The cover 16 can be made independently from the base and the film 20 is conveniently attached to the cover 16 by machine.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
