- 1. 11. A prosthetic foot comprising:
- 2. 12. The prosthetic foot of Claim 11, further comprising a strap surrounding the upper ankle plate and the lower ankle plate above a fore portion of the ankle block.

- 5. 53. A prosthetic foot comprising:
- 6. 54. The prosthetic foot of Claim 53, further comprising a wedge piece inserted into the wedge cut-out.
- 7. 55. The prosthetic foot of Claim 54, wherein the wedge piece has a convex shape.
- 8. 56. The prosthetic foot of Claim 54, wherein the wedge piece has a stiffness that is greater than that of the ankle block.
- 9. 57. The prosthetic foot of Claim 54, wherein the wedge piece has a stiffness that is less than that of the ankle block.
- 10. 58. A prosthetic foot comprising:
- 11. 59. The prosthetic foot of Claim 58, wherein the length of said strap between said ankle plate element and said foot plate element is adjustable.
- 12. 60. The prosthetic foot of Claim 58, further comprising an insert placed within the strap.
- 13. 61. The prosthetic foot of Claim 60, wherein the insert is C-shaped.
- 14. 62. A prosthetic foot comprising:
- 15. 63. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the cut-out piece is a wedge piece having a convex shape that mates with the cut-out portion.
- 16. 64. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the cut-out portion of the ankle block is adjacent to and extends to the foot plate element.
- 17. 65. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the foot plate element has a curvilinear shape.
- 18. 66. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the foot plate element has a length between about 5 and 15 inches.
- 19. 67. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the foot plate element comprises a single foot plate having a length approximately equal to the length of a human foot.
- 20. 68. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the ankle plate element is shorter in length than the foot plate element.
- 21. 69. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the ankle plate element transitions into a substantially curved ankle section.
- 22. 70. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the ankle plate element comprises a bottom ankle plate and a top ankle plate layered one on top of another.
- 23. 71. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the ankle block is made of foam.
- 24. 72. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the ankle block is made of urethane.
- 25. 73. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the ankle block comprises substantially the sole means of support and connection between the foot plate element and the ankle plate element.
- 26. 74. The prosthetic foot of Claim 62, wherein the ankle block includes at least one opening or chamber therein.
- 27. 75. A prosthetic foot comprising:
- 28. 76. The prosthetic foot of Claim 75, wherein the foot plate element has a curvilinear shape.
- 29. 77. The prosthetic foot of Claim 75, wherein the foot plate element has a length between about 5 and 15 inches.
- 30. 78. The prosthetic foot of Claim 75, wherein the foot plate element comprises a single foot plate having a length approximately equal to the length of a human foot.
- 31. 79. The prosthetic foot of Claim 75, wherein the ankle plate element is shorter in length than the foot plate element.
- 32. 80. The prosthetic foot of Claim 75, wherein the ankle plate element transitions into a substantially curved ankle section.
- 33. 81. The prosthetic foot of Claim 75, wherein the ankle plate element comprises a bottom ankle plate and a top ankle plate layered one on top of another.
- 34. 82. The prosthetic foot of Claim 75, wherein the ankle block is made of foam.
