Claims
- 1. Form A of fluoxetine hydrochloride prepared by a process comprising heating substantially crystalline fluoxetine hydrochloride past the melting point thereof until melted fluoxetine hydrochloride is formed, cooling said melted fluoxetine hydrochloride under conditions which yield amorphous fluoxetine hydrochloride, and nucleating said amorphous fluoxetine hydrochloride to initiate transformation to said Form A of fluoxetine hydrochloride.
