Description
BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE
Field of the Disclosure

The disclosure relates to figurine devices and more particularly pertains to a new figurine device for positioning of a figurine into a desired position for facilitating placement of the figurine in amusing positions or depicting amusing situations.

SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a formable neck wire coupling a head to an upper torso. Formable arm wires extend from the upper torso. A pair of formable torso wires couple a lower torso to the upper torso. Formable leg wires extend from the lower torso. The head, upper torso, neck wire, arm wires, lower torso, torso wires, and leg wires define a skeletal frame. A skin covers the skeletal frame such that the skin resembles a humanoid form.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

FIG. 1 is a top front side perspective view of a skeletal frame of a formable figurine device according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 2 is a back view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 3 is a partially exploded partial front view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 4 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 5 is a front view of a plurality of embodiments of the disclosure in use.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new figurine device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the formable figurine device 10 generally comprises a head 12 and an upper torso 14. The head 12 is spherical and the upper torso 14 is conoid. A neck wire 16 has a first end 18 coupled to the head 12 and a second end 20 coupled to the upper torso 14. The neck wire 16 may be secured to each of the head 12 and the upper torso 14 by insertion into each of the head 12 and upper torso 14 secured by glue 22 as shown in FIG. 3. The neck wire 16 is formable wherein the head 12 is adjustably positionable relative to the upper torso 14.

Each of a pair of arm wires 24 is coupled to and extends from an associated side 26 of the upper torso 14. Each of the arm wires 24 is formable. Each arm wire 24 has a proximal end 28 relative to the upper torso 14 inserted into a respective end 30 of a conduit 32 extending laterally through the upper torso 14 wherein the arm wires 24 are laterally aligned across the upper torso 14. A lower torso 36 has a substantially isosceles triangular axial cross-sectional shape 38. Corners 40 of the triangular axial cross-sectional shape 38 are rounded and equal sides 42 of the isosceles triangular axial cross-sectional shape 38 are convex. Each of a pair of torso wires 44 is coupled to and extends between the upper torso 14 and the lower torso 36. Each of the torso wires 44 is secured similarly to the neck wire 16 and is formable wherein the upper torso 14 is adjustably positionable relative to the lower torso 36. The upper torso 14 has a planar bottom surface 48 facing the lower torso 36. The lower torso 36 similarly has a planar upper surface 50 facing the upper torso 14.

Each of a pair of leg wires 52 is coupled to and extends from the lower torso 36. Each leg wire 52 is formable and connected to the lower torso 36 in similar manner as the neck wire 16 is coupled to the head 12 as described above. A respective distal section 54 of each leg wire 52 is bent relative to a main section 56 of the leg wire 52.

Each of a plurality of finger wires 58 is coupled to and extends from a distal end 60 of an associated one of the arm wires 24 relative to the upper torso 14. The finger wires 58 may be arranged to define two sets of five finger wires 58. The head 12, the upper torso 14, the neck wire 16, the pair of arm wires 24, the lower torso 36, the pair of torso wires 44 , the finger wires 58 , and the pair of leg wires 52 define a skeletal frame 64. Each distal section 54 defines a foot 58 of the skeletal frame 64. A skin 66 covers the skeletal frame 64 such that the skin 66 resembles an elfin humanoid form. The skin 66 comprises a main body 68 covering the upper torso 14 and lower torso 36. The skin also comprises arms 70 covering the arm wires 24, legs 72 covering the main sections 56 of the leg wires 52, feet 74 covering the distal sections 54 of the leg wires 52, and fingers 76 covering respective finger wires 58. The skin 66 may also provide a face 78 and hat 80.

In use, the device 10 provides for a elfin humanoid figurine which is formable allowing for various postures and positions. The device 10 may be formed as desired and positioned in a desired location with or without additional props or decorations. A total height of the skin 66 covering the skeletal frame 64 is between 70 centimeters and 100 centimeters. The device 10 may also be provided with only a top half 82 or only a bottom half 84 allowing for positioning of the bottom half 84 and top half 82 in positions or locations in which having a full body shape would be impossible or problematic, such as extending into or out of a window, into a chimney, or the like.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
