Claims
- 1. A forming tool, comprising:
- a female tool having a concave section of a desired shape;
- a cylindrical holder which can press a workpiece against the female tool, the cylindrical holder having a main body;
- an elastic punch provided in the holder; and
- a pressurizing member which can pressurize the elastic punch relatively;
- wherein:
- a pressing force receiving section to receive a pressing force from the elastic punch is provided in one portion of the holder;
- a taper surface is formed in the pressing force receiving section of the holder;
- a section having the pressing force receiving section is exchangeably provided to the main body of the holder; and
- a tilt angle .alpha. of the taper surface of the pressing force receiving section is 0.degree. for high pressure, 0.degree. to 45.degree. for intermediate pressure, and 45.degree. to 89.degree. for low pressure.
- 2. An elastic punch to be mounted into a holder in a tool used in a forming process, comprising:
- a large diameter section;
- a small diameter section projected from the large diameter section; and
- a pressing force transmission section, which transmits a pressing force to a pressing force receiving section provided in the holder the pressing force transmission section being provided in the large diameter section;
- wherein:
- an end surface of the small diameter section is an elastic punch whose surface is non-flat; and
- a suitable number of grooves are formed in an outer peripheral surface of the large diameter section so as to be provided within a range from an end surface of the larger diameter section to the pressing force transmission section.
- 3. The elastic punch according to claim 2, wherein
- the large diameter section contains lubricant.
- 4. The elastic punch according to claim 3, wherein
- hardness of the large diameter section is different from that of the small diameter section.
