Claims
- 1. A decoder for a forward error correcting code, for decoding a digital signal being encoded for error correction, comprising:
an error correcting portion for correcting an error in said digital signal being encoded for error correction; a delay portion for delaying said digital signal being encoded for error correction for a predetermined time; and a selecting portion, receiving and selecting one of an output of said error correcting portion and an output of said delay portion, so as to provide an output therefrom.
- 2. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 1, wherein said digital signal is a time division multiplex signal, being disposed in a predetermined transmission frame at a constant time period.
- 3. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 1, wherein said digital signal is transmitted using either one of SDH defined in ITU-T Recommendation and SONET defined in ANSI Standard.
- 4. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 1, wherein said digital signal can be encoded for error correction in accordance with a system coding.
- 5. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 1, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using Hamming code.
- 6. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 1, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using Reed-Solomon code.
- 7. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in the claim 1, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using BCH code.
- 8. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 1, wherein said selecting portion makes selection of the signal upon basis of a control signal provided from outside of said decoder.
- 9. A decoder for a forward error correcting code, for decoding a digital signal being encoded for error correction, comprising:
an error correcting portion for correcting an error in said digital signal being encoded for error correction; a delay portion for delaying said digital signal being encoded for error correction for at least a fixed time corresponding to error correction in said error correcting portion; and a selecting portion, receiving and selecting one of an output of said error correcting portion and an output of said delay portion, so as to provide an output therefrom.
- 10. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 9, wherein said digital signal is a time division multiplex signal, being disposed in a predetermined transmission frame at a constant time period.
- 11. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 9, wherein said digital signal is transmitted using either one of SDH defined in TTU-T Recommendation and SONET defined in ANSI Standard.
- 12. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 9, wherein said digital signal can be encoded for error correction in accordance with a system coding.
- 13. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 9, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using Hanming code.
- 14. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 9, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using Reed-Solomon code.
- 15. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 9, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using BCH code.
- 16. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 9, wherein said selecting portion makes selection of the signal upon basis of a control signal provided from outside said decoder.
- 17. A decoder for a forward error correcting code, for decoding a digital signal being encoded for error correction, comprising:
an error correcting portion receiving said digital signal being encoded for error correction, for providing an output being having an error corrected therein; a delay portion receiving said digital signal being encoded for error correction, for providing an output by delaying said digital signal being encoded for error correction, for at least a fixed time corresponding to error correction in said error correcting portion; a through processing portion receiving said digital signal being encoded for error correction, for providing an output without delaying said digital signal being encoded for error correction; and a selecting portion, receiving and selecting one of the outputs of said error correcting portion, said delay portion, and said through processing portion, so as to provide an output therefrom.
- 18. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 17, wherein said digital signal is a time division multiplex signal, being disposed in a predetermined transmission frame at a constant time period.
- 19. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 17, wherein said digital signal is transmitted using either one of SDH defined in ITU-T Recommendation and SONET defined in ANSI Standard.
- 20. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 17, wherein said digital signal can be encoded for error correction in accordance with a system coding.
- 21. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in the claim 17, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using Hamming code.
- 22. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 17, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using Reed-Solomon code.
- 23. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 17, wherein said digital signal is encoded for error correction using BCH code.
- 24. A decoder for a forward error correcting code as defined in claim 17, wherein said selecting portion makes selection of the signal upon basis of a control signal provided from outside of said decoder.
