Claims
- 1. A fuel assembly, comprising:
- a) a rod cluster containing mutually parallel fuel rods including rods with lower end pieces;
- b) a top plate covering said cluster at the top and having coolant outlets formed therein;
- c) a base plate covering said cluster at the bottom and having coolant inlets formed therein;
- d) said base plate and at least said end piece of one of said rods each having a connecting part with profiles being adapted to one another for forming a releasable connection of said end piece to said base plate with said end piece being introduced into said connection from above; and
- e) a bolt for preventing lifting of said rod off said base plate.
- 2. The fuel assembly according to claim 1, wherein said end piece is inserted into said connection.
- 3. The fuel assembly according to claim 1, wherein said end piece is screwed into said connection.
- 4. The fuel assembly according to claim 1, wherein one of said connecting parts is formed onto said base plate.
- 5. The fuel assembly according to claim 1, wherein one of said connecting parts is a socket screwed into said base plate.
- 6. The fuel assembly according to claim 1, wherein one of said connecting parts is a socket being irreleasably fastened on said base plate.
- 7. The fuel assembly according to claim 1, wherein one of said connecting parts is a socket being welded on said base plate.
- 8. The device according to claim 1, wherein one of said connecting parts is a socket being fastened to said base plate, said base plate is formed of a first special steel material, said end piece is formed of a second material selected from the group consisting of zirconium and a zirconium alloy, and said socket is formed of a third material.
- 9. The device according to claim 1, wherein said bolt is formed onto one of said connecting parts and said connecting parts form a bayonet closure.
- 10. The fuel assembly according to claim 9, wherein said fuel rods have lower end caps, and said lower end caps are held on said base plate with said bayonet closure.
- 11. The fuel assembly according to claim 10, wherein said fuel rods include a first group of fuel rods extending virtually from said base plate up to said top plate and a second group of shorter fuel rods, and said lower closure caps of said shorter fuel rods are held on said base plate by said bayonet closure.
- 12. The fuel assembly according to claim 10, wherein one of said connecting parts has a spike member projecting approximately parallel to said rods, the other of said connecting parts has two jaw members for receiving said spike member, said bolt includes at least one lateral attachment formed onto one of said members, said profiles are formed by said attachment and a groove being approximately perpendicular to said spike member and engaging underneath said attachment after inserting said spike member and turning said end piece, and one of said members being an irreleasable part of said end piece of one of said fuel rods.
- 13. The fuel assembly according to claim 10, wherein said end cap has a marking indicating a position of said end piece.
- 14. A fuel assembly for a boiling water reactor, comprising:
- a) a cluster of mutually parallel fuel rods;
- b) a fuel assembly channel laterally surrounding said cluster of fuel rods and having open upper and lower ends;
- c) a top plate covering said open upper end of said fuel assembly channel and having coolant outlets formed therein;
- d) a foot part having an upper edge being inserted into said open lower end of said fuel assembly channel, and a base plate having coolant inlets formed therein, adjoining said edge and covering said open lower end of said fuel assembly channel;
- e) at least one coolant pipe being disposed between and parallel to said fuel rods and having a lower end with a lower end piece having an opening formed therein for coolant;
- f) said lower end of said coolant pipe and said base plate each having at least one connecting part with profiles being adapted to one another and forming a releasable connection of said end piece and said base plate; and
- g) a securing bolt engaging in both of said connecting parts for locking said releasable connection.
- 15. The fuel assembly according to claim 14, wherein said connecting parts are inserted into each other and each have a recess formed therein into which said securing bolt is to be inserted for locking said connection.
