This application claims the benefit of priority from Chinese Patent Application No. 202321949380.4, filed on Jul. 24, 2023. The content of the aforementioned application, including any intervening amendments made thereto, is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
This application relates to water heaters, and more particularly to a fume hood structure for a portable water heater.
Water heater is a commonly-used household electrical appliance. With the popularization of outdoor sports, portable water heaters have emerged. Most of the existing portable water heaters are gas water heaters, which include a burner and a heat exchanger at an upper end of the burner, and it is needed to arrange a fume hood at an upper side of the burner to discharge the fume produced by the burner. For outdoor applications, it is necessary to prevent wind from entering the burner through the hood, and thus a rotatable air deflector is needed to be arranged inside the hood. In the prior art, a rotating shaft transversely goes through the air deflector to be connected with a side wall of the hood. In this structure, the rotating shaft may hinder the air flow on the air deflector, which may cause a problem that the air deflector cannot rotate automatically. In addition, the connection strength between the hood and the heat exchanger is not enough, such that the hood is prone to be detached from the heat exchanger.
This application provides a structurally-simple fume hood structure for a portable water heater, whose air deflector adopts a new rotatable connection structure. This application can overcome the shortcomings of the prior art.
Technical solutions of the present disclosure are described as follows.
This application provides a fume hood structure for a portable water heater, comprising:
In an embodiment, an upper side of a middle of the air deflector is provided with an upper baffle connected with the top plate.
In an embodiment, a lower end of each of the two side plates is provided with a flanging part extending inward; a first support plate and a second support plate are both connected between two flanging parts of the two side plates, and the first support plate is opposite to the second support plate; and two ends of each of the first support plate and the second support plate are each provided with an extension part arranged on an upper side of the flanging part.
In an embodiment, a middle part of each of the two flanging parts is provided with a limiting plate extending downward, and the first support plate and the second support plate abuts against two limiting plates to form a rectangular mounting structure.
In an embodiment, the rotating shaft base is arranged on an outer side of each of the two side plates, and the rotating shaft is configured to run through a corresponding one of the two side plates to be connected with the rotating lug.
Compared to the prior art, the present disclosure has the following beneficial effects.
The fume hood structure for a portable water heater has a simple structure. The rotating lug is connected with the rotating shaft base to arranged the air deflector. In this way, the air deflector has simple installation and receives a relatively small resistance when it is rotating, which can satisfy a blowing standard test and has a high stability. Besides, a combination of the first support plate and the second support plate and the limiting plate can form a rectangular installation structure.
The present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the embodiments and accompanying drawings. It's obvious that the embodiments described herein are only some embodiments rather than all embodiments of the disclosure.
Referring to
In an embodiment, the air deflector 3 is directly connected with the rotating shaft 21 through the rotating lug 41. Therefore, an installation of the air deflector 3 is convenient. There is no blocking structure on the surface of the air deflector 3, such that the rotation of the air deflector 3 will not be affected.
In an embodiment, the air deflector 3 can rotate up and down around the rotating shaft 21. A normal state of the air deflector 3 is open, that is, a smoke discharging state, which the air deflector 3 rotates upward. When the wind is blown from outside to the fume hood, a side of the air deflector 3, which is also a windward side, is closed, and the other side of the air deflector 3 is open, so as to prevent the outside wind from entering the fume hood.
In order to prevent the outside wind from passing over the air deflector 3, a first side of the air deflector 3 rotates downward, and an upper side of a middle of the air deflector 3 is provided with an upper baffle connected with the top plate 11.
In order to facilitate to install and fix the fume hood, a lower end of each of the two side plates 12 is provided with a flanging part 13 extending inward. A first support plate and a second support plate are both connected between two flanging parts 13 of the two side plates 12, and the first support plate is opposite to the second support plate. Two ends of each of the first support plate and the second support plate 5 are each provided with an extension part 51 arranged on an upper side of the flanging part 13. And a lower end of the hood body 1 can be strengthened and fixed through the first support plate and the second support plate 5, which is convenient to install and fix a heat exchanger.
In an embodiment, a middle part of the two flanging parts 13 is provided with a limiting plate 14 extending downward, and the first support plate and the second support plate 5 abuts against two limiting plates 14 to form a rectangular mounting structure. The rectangular mounting structure has a high strength and can satisfy mounting needs.
In an embodiment, the rotating shaft base 2 is arranged on an outer side of each of the two side plates 12, and the rotating shaft 21 is configured to run through a corresponding one of the two side plates 12 to be connected with the rotating lug 41.
In the description of this embodiment, the orientation or position relationship indicated by the terms, such as “up”, “down”, “left”, “right”, “front” and “back”, is based on the orientation or position relationship shown in the accompanying drawings. These terms are only for facilitating and simplifying description of orientation or position relationship and movement between components in a specific posture, and if the specific posture is changed, the orientation or position relationship is changed accordingly.
