Claims
- 1. The invention provides a method of treating a subject suffering from an affective disorder which comprises administering to the subject an amount of compound effective to treat the subject's affective disorder wherein the compound has the structure:
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein A is aryl, heteroaryl, heteroaryl(C1-C6)alkyl or —(CH2)n—CC—R4;
wherein the aryl is substituted with —OH.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein A is aryl, heteroaryl, or heteroaryl(C1-C6)alkyl; and
wherein aryl is substituted with —F, —Cl, —Br, —I, —NO2, —CN, straight chained or branched C1-C7 alkyl, straight chained or branched C1-C7 monofluoroalkyl, straight chained or branched C1-C7 polyfluoroalkyl, straight chained or branched C2-C7 alkenyl, straight chained or branched C2-C7 alkynyl, C3-C7 cycloalkyl, C3-C7 monofluorocycloalkyl, C3-C7 polyfluorocycloalkyl, C5-C7 cycloalkenyl, —N(R4)2, —OR4, —SR4, —OCOR4, —COR4, —NCOR4, —CO2R4, —CON(R4)2 or —(CH2)nO(CH2)mCH3.
