BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
a) Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a game apparatus and more particularly to a game apparatus which combines with gears and blocks, wherein block units are installed with gear units and one gear unit is connected with a turntable; at a same time when the turntable rotates, the neighboring gear units can be driven to rotate relatively with respect to one another.
b) Description of the Prior Art
Most conventional blocks are only equipped with functions of assembling and stacking. Although children can enjoy fun of game when stacking and assembling the blocks, a basic mechanical principle of fitting the blocks with gears is not available to trigger a sense of touch and a visual feeling for the children; therefore, the conventional blocks are unable to increase a sensitivity of sense and enriched creativity for the children.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide a game apparatus which combines with gears and blocks, wherein block units are installed with at least one gear unit which is gnawed on the block unit. When a turntable drives one gear unit to rotate, the neighboring gear units can be driven simultaneously to rotate as well, which not only can provide for children with fun of stacking, but enlighten the children's basic knowledge of gear transmission, thereby achieving an object of edutainment.
To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the present invention is a block set 1 which is formed by connecting plural block units 10 with plural gear units 20, wherein peripheries of each block unit 10 are provided respectively with three bumps 11 and indentations 12 between the neighboring bumps 11. When two neighboring block units 10 are connected, they are assembled and formed by latching the bumps 11 into the indentations 12; thereby assembling into a large-scaled block set 1. The present invention is primarily characterized by the following description.
A top surface of the block unit 10 is provided with a projection 13 in a rectangular shape, a square shape, a circular shape or other irregular shape. The projection 13 is disposed with plural holes 131 and a bottom center of the gear unit 20 is provided with a shaft 21 which can be snapped into any one hole 131. A top center of the gear unit 20 is provided with a rectangular slot 22, two sides at a bottom of which are disposed respectively with a lock hole 221. A rectangular snap 31 at a bottom of one turntable 30 can be locked into the slot 22 for positioning (as shown in FIG. 2-1) and pins 311 at two sides of a bottom of the snap 31 can be latched into the lock holes 221 at two sides of the slot 22. Referring to FIG. 3, a user can hold a handle 32 of the turntable 30 with a hand to drive the gear unit 20 to rotate on the block unit 10 against the shaft 21; whereas, that gear unit 20 can also drive the neighboring gear unit 20 to rotate.
Referring to FIG. 4, four vertically connected block units 10 are extended at a rear side of two block units 10 which are put on a desktop horizontally, wherein one horizontal block unit 10 is installed with a small gear unit 20 and one vertical block unit 10 is installed with one large and two small gear units 20. The aforementioned large and small gear units 20 are gnawed with one another, such that when the turntable 30 on the large gear unit 20 rotates, the peripheral small gear units 20 can be driven to rotate accordingly.
Referring to FIG. 5, it shows a cubical three-dimensional block set formed by plural block units 10. Peripheries of the block set can be freely installed with the large and small gear units 20 according to a preference of a child. Driven by the turntable 30 on the large gear unit 20, the peripheral small gear units 20 will rotate accordingly.
Referring to FIG. 6, a bottom center of the block unit 10 of the present invention is provided with a rectangular groove 14 on a whole surface. An interior of the groove 14 is provided with a geometric figure which is formed by surrounding with plural concentric collars and an arrangement of plural circular grooves. Peripheries of the groove 14 are provided with plural protruded skid-proof pads 15. When the block unit 10 is put flat on a ground, the skid-proof pads 15 can provide the skid-proofing function. In addition, peripheries of the top projection 13 of the block unit 10 are also concaved with plural positioning holes 16. When the block units 10 are to be stacked for collection, the groove 14 of the block unit 10 at an upper layer can be sheathed on the projection 13 of the block unit 10 at a lower layer, and the skid-proof pads 15 of the block unit 10 at the upper layer can be positioned into the positioning holes 16 of the block unit 10 at the lower layer, so as to facilitate stacking up the block units 10.
Conclusive from the above, in accordance with the present invention, using plural gear units fitted with the block units, along with the arrangement of the turntable, the gear-and-block combination tool can allow the children to stack into all kinds of various shapes, which not only can enable the children to develop creativity of stacking the blocks, but can enlighten the simple mechanical knowledge for the children, thereby achieving the object of edutainment.
It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
